Tjis desktop has since handles all my editing jobs like a champ.I like the fact that you can expand the disk space and upgrade the memory in different ways. I only wished it had thunderbolt or more USB c slots. Great PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ram Upgrade Challenge and Poor Customer Service I'm generally happy with this PC; however, I'm unhappy with Lenovo's communication and lack of RAM availability. I've purchased (2) PCs, (2) Laptops, a number of screens, as well as some other items from Lenovo and have always been happy with Lenovo until this purchase. I purchase this PC because I needed a better computer for some CAD/FEA modeling. I bought it because it says that it has up to 128GB RAM capacity. The model I purchased came with 64GB of RAM and I planned to upgrade to the full RAM capacity. After multiple phone calls and chats with Levono service (sales and tech support) I was left with no options for RAM upgrade. Lenovo said they didn't have the same RAM available for the upgrade and did not have any other compatible RAM to recommend. Further, one of the Lenovo tech support employees said that they do not recommend upgrading or modifying the RAM in any way. They said they recommend using the PC exactly as packaged, but if I'm "some kind of techy who wants to mess with" the PC I purchased, I can do so at my own risk. This was an odd and unprofessional response in my opinion. In my limited experience it is fairly common to upgrade RAM capacity and although there are problems that can occur using the same RAM in all channels is the best way to avoid problems. Because the same RAM (by SK Hynix) that Lenovo installed on this PC is not readily available and I did not want to mix RAM with another manufacturer, I ordered the OEM RAM used from a third party on Ebay. This was certainly not my first choice of how to upgrade the RAM on my new PC.

The online ordering process went smoothly, shipping was prompt and everything is working great. 3 weeks after I purchased Lenovo had a sale; my exact workstation was $450 less than what I originally paid. I called, sent some screenshots and received a refund for the difference under their 30 day Price Protection. So impressed!

My customer had his computer destroyed in the Palisades fire so he needed a replacement. I convinced him to get the machine as he would not have to worry about any upgrades for a very long time. When I got the unit it only had one location. I had to order an additional parts to mount the an additional hard drive. Also windows 11 automatically enables an encryption software. Lost all data on one hard drive. Suggest they show better picture of the inside or state what is included.

I had a Legion 5i with 60bg of RAM that was starting to breath a bit hard with all the apps required for my line of work. And so far with the P3 I'm opening all the apps and I can barely hear it. I'm excited to start this journey with the P3 and I hope it can serve me for a long time with no issues.

I bought it for doing Mathematica calculations and it is very nice for that! I also use it for occasionally running a game server, and it is outstanding.

I only wish it came with a 2nd SSD mounting kit, which delayed my installation of an additional 4TB SSD. Imagine-- a screaming fast machine with 6TB fast SSD and 128GB of RAM. Wow! What do I need such a powerful machine for? "Fiddlin' around". I want to re-learn Linux after 20 years of not doing any coding, and write my own code for various purposes, sometimes with HUGE data sets/images. In another life, I developed pattern detecting code and my thesis was on digital imaging. Now, I have the tools to pursue it

Windows 11 hijacks, no steals your files and puts them on OneDrive, without any notice. And after you spend HOURS getting rid of OneDrive you have a messed up file system that still isn’t up to par. There are no clear, concise instructions/directions on removing OneDrive that I could find anywhere. So, I am very impressed with the computers performance (Autocad runs great on it) but I detest, detest, detest Windows 11. If I could change it to Windows 10 I would give it more than 5 stars.

So far, it is an amazing system that is a brilliant upgrade to my old 8-year-old system. I was about to buy a Dell XPS but just happened to check out Lenovo's site. This PC is a major step up in terms of processor, RAM and SSD plus it has a 3-year on-site warranty for less than what Dell wanted for a less superior machine.

I need the PCI card slots for SDI video capture. All of them are amazingly fast. I went overboard with these units, as it is often ten+ years before churches swap out equipment. These will have no problem with speed degradation. Had one unit develop an issue, but on site service swapped hardware and had us back up in less than 24hrs.

Called customer service and they couldn't get it work either. Said this is a known problem and gave me a quote and told me they would call me back within the next week to see if it worked then. Eventually I did get my pc. All good and fast setup, happy with it all. Then 4 days later my (old) monitor just turns white. Every now and then it would come back. Support was hard to work with, told me it must be the hdmi cable. Purchased a whole new monitor and hdmi cable. No help. Go back to support and after a long online chat they finally conclude that yes it must be the hdmi connection in the pc. Put in a service ticket for it, and immediatly notified it was on hold as the part was not available. Coming up on two weeks now and still on hold. Not happy.

Priced fairly normally, these are just amazing at the price I paid. Very powerful for light architectural work and genuinely more than we need, but that means we will be able to use them longer with less worry.

Turned out the things I bought were not even comatible, were incomplete, and would voice the warrany if I tried installing them anyway. NOBODY at Lenove knew anytnign about any of this. Returned the whole order, well over $2,000 worth of stuff.

I got the basic model but it appears you can really customize it. Our old hp was slow as molasses. This computer is really fast and a dream compared to what we had before. I will tell you the tower came with a corded mouse and keyboard which wasn't clear in the description. I bought the cordless add on that it suggested but that wasn't necessary. The tower also has a speaker.

I got a quote for nine machines delivered eight and about a week later after calling them about the delivery of my last pc they sent me a email a couple days later saying they didn’t have one like the ones I ordered and they were going to just refund the amount. I contacted them again saying that wouldn’t work I wanted all the same machines and surely they could find another (pretty standard) like it. They said they would but have not heard anything back in a week. Very strange and sad I have had great luck with Lenovo that’s why I have paid the higher price for them but I will need to start researching other brands if this is the service that is going to be offered. I ordered a server for this job also and did contact them to get a estimated delivery date it’s a few weeks away but at least it’s something to work with

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great… til it broke. I loved the P3 Thinkstation when it WORKED. But when I was updating the BIOS it died. It’s been over two weeks and on-site service has still not determined the problem after a motherboard replacement AND a subsequent gpa replacement. Now waiting for ANOTHER motherboard replacement for three days with no word WHEN that will occur.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice computer! This is a very nice computer at a good price. My only complaint is that it came equipped with room only for a single hard drive in addition to the M.2 SSD. I was able to purchase an expansion kit from Lenovo to correct this situation. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the purchase.

The SSD is fast, I backup 100 Gb total file system to Lenovo 1 Tb USB SSD in 15 minutes. Every business interaction with Lenovo, design, support, sales, marketing exceeds my expectations. Thank You!

Needed a desktop in the office that several field personnel could access when here and this one fit the bill. Along with basic access it needed to have the ability to run CAD programs as well. It excels in that category and I sometime use it myself instead of the docking station with my laptop.

Competitive price, very fast, all the features I need to run current 3d Modeling and 2D vector applications (BIM, CAD etc.) and graphic software (Adobe CS Suite, VRay, etc.).
