Works better than the original
This is for a Thinkpad X1 Yoga 4th gen. When I received the cap, I thought it was the wrong one because when comparing it side by side with the original, it looks smaller, so I was going to return it. However, I decided to try it and it works significantly better than the original. It's much easier to move the pointer with the new cap. I don't know if the cap was redesigned or if this cap is for a different model, but I think that the smaller size gave more room for the cap to move in the restricted space. More importantly, so far, I haven't experienced the super annoying pointer drift that used to happen several times a day with the original cap, where the pointer would move on its own sometimes all the way to the border of the screen. I attached a photo with the original on the left and this cap on the right so you can see that this cap is smaller.

Fit and work, but too low for my liking
I gave it four stars predominately because it works, which is good. Unfortunately 3.0 mm is a little too low for my preference, and are lower than my previous replacement set. I typed in "Trackpoint X1 Carbon Thinkpad Lenovo" as my search which is what I own. The taller ones did not match with my search results, they said they went to a different laptop, so I thought to be safe, I chose the 3.0 mm given the search results. But they are too low for my liking.

New TrackPoint Cap Works Well
The new track point works very well. I do think that Lenovo should just include a package of these with every new laptop that requires them at no additional cost (possibly raising cost of new computer by whatever the Lenovo cost is to make these with a small profit.
