Television did not last
Less than 6 months old and the full panel went out. It has been 3 weeks and still 1 week to go before the repair person shows, hopefully with the correct part. I feel the television just should have been replaced not wait 1 month for maybe a fix.

NO replacements offered ONLY refund! Stay away!
LG does not do replacements, only option is refund to purchase again. Terrible customer service the rep just kept repeating due to system being upgraded they can not provide replacement and when I kept insisting I'll wait they finally stated they do not provide replacements and I would have to refund my purchase to buy it again so the cycle can repeat. MY TV came in DOA and no help from Order Support or any representative of the company. Stay away from buying directly from LG, and buy it from a retailer so you know you can go in and receive a replacement unit.

Awesome TV
I've been wanting an OLED for a long time and I finally splurged on it. Glad I got it! Playing Fallout on this TV is amazing and watching movies is even better.

A TV that lives up to the Hype
The TV is very nice. The picture is clear and the colors are great — not saturated like a lot of other TVs. I saw complaints about the remote while researching the television but I like its heft and the cursor option.

Waste of BIG Money!
We purchased this TV from Best Buy on 8/30/23. Since the TV was expensive ($4000) we also purchased the Best Buy Total Membership and TV Connect and Mounting Service. We thought we had all our bases covered. Sadly, we did not.
Best Buy mounted the TV and, since they wouldn’t put an outlet behind the TV, we contracted with a professional HDTV Installation company to place an outlet behind the TV.
The TV worked perfectly until April 2024. At that point, after being on for a few minutes a gray, then black line, would appear and the TV would shut itself off. Best Buy Geek Squad came out and discovered a tiny, barely visible, smooth indent on the bottom left of the TV and said that was “physical damage” and that neither Best Buy or LG would repair or replace the TV. The assumption was that we damaged the TV. We did NOT touch the TV since September. For two months we attempted to resolve this. We even had an attorney write Best Buy a letter. There was no response.
We finally gave up and had the TV hauled away. Over $4000 down the drain.
We will NEVER be buying another TV from Best Buy and NEVER an LG TV.

It's big.
Takes some getting used to, but it fills the wall very nicely. Picture is great. Setting up everything took some time to go through the menu. Lots of features. We love the flush mount against the wall, and the wire running behind the sheetrock.

All around fantastic TV
I love this TV. The picture is super clear with remarkable contrast, vibrant color and terrific sound quality. I feel like I don’t even need my soundbar! This TV has an abundance of good features including voice search and many use options, such as games, movies, etc This is one of the best purchases I have ever made

Amazing mount on the wall
I purchased this 3 weeks ago. I had the special holes cut in my wall so it could mount flush. When the technicians installed it on the wall it did not power up. It has been hanging there ever since with no power, I can’t get a replacement because I guess I bought the last one and the parts to try to fix it are very difficult to obtain. I am hoping some time in the next few weeks to be able to turn it on. It does look very good mounted on the wall

Brand New TV does not work
Terrible! I bought 2 LG TV’s. A 55inch and 65inch. The 55 inch I love it, no problems with it, great picture quality. However, my 65inch does not turn on all the time when using the remote and when using the button at the bottom of the TV. This has been an issue with this TV since the day I bought it back in November 2023. For 6 months I’ve made phone call after phone call and no resolution still. Even had an LG tech come to my home to evaluate the TV and he told me it was not working for him either but then wrote in his report that the TV is working as it should and there are no problems to be fixed. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave my home and did not communicate what was wrong with the TV before he left. He told me he would call me in 5 minutes to let me know what the problem was and I never heard back from him. My TV still has the same issue of not turning on. I have spoken with the presidential liaison for LG and I am now being directed to another person to make another appointment to have my TV looked at again. Very disappointed in the service quality.

Picture is amazing
TV was easy to setup, picture looks great and the preset video settings did not take much tweaking. Using filmmaker mode makes it fairly easy. 1 star off because the optical port was a pain to connect the cable to. I should be using the arc HDMI anyway.
I did not use the provided wall mount because I wanted to be able to easily access the ports and the the cable management on the rear panel does not match my existing wall setup.

Beautiful picture after trial & error
I bought based on reviews I read. Difficulties setting the picture to my satisfaction. Remote control sucks as it does not work on LG guide. Called LG tech support but after 30 minutes was in the same place where I started. Currently using the DirecTV remote. When I finally figured out to hit the ultra contrast switch the picture became the quality I anticipated.

LG REFUSES TO TIMELY FULFILL WARRANTY
I purchased a LG OLED EVO G3 65 INCH TV at Best Buy about two months ago and about six weeks later the TV ceased functioning. Apparently these LG TVs have a permanent habit of ceasing to turn on. Best Buy informs me LG provides a full one year repair or replace warranty on the TV and pretty much tells me to go away. I then contact LG, and its technician "took control" of my cell camera while I aimed it and demonstrated the issue with the TV. LG confirmed the problem and confirmed it was covered under the warranty. Now, after more than two weeks of numerous contacts from me, LG tells me over and over again only that it is unable to locate an available service provider anywhere in the vicinity of Madison WI. When LG first told me this I said that the TV then needs to be replaced since LG can't repair it - as per LG's warranty. LG's response has been to continue to tell me that it cannot find anyone to repair this new $2600 LG TV, and ignores my requests to proceed to replace the TV as per LG's warranty obligation. There is no dispute here over warranty coverage and there is no dispute as to the issue with the TV, yet LG continues to refuse to fulfill its warranty obligations. This is incredibly bad customer service and an incredibly bad product! One star is one too many!

Excellent picture with fair sound quality.
The G3 works very well in our bright family room. Our previous 2018 LG OLED TV also had excellent picture quality at night but was difficult to watch dark scenes during the day. We use a Sonos sound bar which really makes a difference in sound quality. The reason for a 4 star over a 5 star is the disappointing sound from the TV speakers.

Absolutely fabulous set. Made a big jump from a Pioneer Elite plasma set which was as good as it got back in 2010 and this is a whole other level. Started with the 65” but returned it and got the 77” instead and am very happy I did.

WONDERFUL TV

Fantastic Display for All
Coming from plasma TV technology, the expectation for true dark colors was high. The G3 with micro lens array has reset my standards. First, the 4k picture and processing are wonderful. I did minimize the motion smoothing to be less obtrusive. But the color palette, the brightness, and slim wall mount make for a fantastic upgrade for anyone who loves movies and broadcast content.

Poor channel guide
Spent the money to get a better tv with higher end features and ended up being disappointed. The channel guide on this tv has been a problem since day one. The volume ends up out of sync with the picture and when you select a channel to watch the tv ends up going to the home menu. Very frustrating. The channel guide is a main part of how I get to the channels I watch and this one is very poorly designed.

The Perfect TV
We looked long and hard for just the right TV. We found it with LG OLED65G3PUA. The picture is fabulous, the sound is clear, the size is perfect and the quality is second to none. We Love our LG TV. Highly recommend.
