Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV I bought this TV a month ago and love it. The sound is great. Picture is fantastic. The one complaint I have is the remote is not backlit, so hard to see the buttons at night in a dark room but I would not let that stop me from buying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On its way to the landfill after 5 months I purchased this LG OLED EVO C3 42-inch smart TV (Model# OLED42C3PUA) for use in my home office in late November 2023. This was the first LG product that I have ever purchased. I must say that after unboxing this tv and setting it up I was highly impressed with the amazing picture quality, its easy-to-navigate menus, and pointer remote. Later I connected an Xbox to it and enjoyed playing fast action games on it. There was never any lag, and playing games on this beautiful display was pure joy. I was so happy with this OLED TV that I was preparing to begin slowly upgrading a few of my home’s other larger televisions to LG OLED’s. It's fortunate that I got to experience LG’s online technical support, phone customer service, and warranty service before making a huge mistake in buying any additional LG products. Customers can gain a lot of insight into a company when they get to experience how they handle a problem they are having. Fast-forward to May 2024. I went to turn on my LG television and it would not turn on using the remote or the button on the television itself. I tried to troubleshoot the problem on my own to no avail. I knew the TV came with a one-year warranty and since it was less than six months old, I figured: OK, no problem, LG will take of it. This is where my nightmares in dealing with LG began. I went to their website to try and figure out how one goes about getting a warranty repair. There is no way to schedule a warranty repair yourself on the website. Instead, you have to go through a technical support chat first. Here they make you try all the things you already tried on your own in order to troubleshoot the problem. Half way through the process I got disconnected from their chat support. When I started a new chat session, they would not let me continue, troubleshooting from the same point I was at in the last session. No, instead I had to start the whole process all over again. Unplug this, take and send me pictures of that, etc. Those two chat support sessions probably took 90-120 minutes of my time before they agreed to send someone to my house for a warranty repair service. They ended the chat saying , “Keep your line free, someone will be calling shortly to schedule the service.” Nobody ever called. Instead, a couple days later I got a text from someone asking me to send them even more pictures of the TV. He ended the text session saying he needed to order some parts and that he will call me to schedule the repair when they come in. Fast forward 2+ weeks later: around 8pm on a Sunday night I get a call from a repairman telling me he is coming to repair the TV the next day. Thanks for the short notice. I had to take the day off from work at the last minute to be home for the repair. Still, after nearly three weeks of having a broken television, I was relieved it would finally be getting fixed. If I only knew what was to come next. The next day the technician shows up. I let him in and show him where the TV is and leave him alone to make the repair. A short time later he comes out and tells me he replaced the parts they thought were the problem, but now the OLED display is showing signs that it has a micro crack when the screen is lit up. I ask him to show me the damage. We examined the television carefully together and neither of us could see any obvious external signs that the screen was cracked or damaged in any way. I guess that’s why they call it a micro crack. Anyway, he tells me he needs to take pictures and send them to LG to see if they will authorize the screen replacement. They immediately text him back that they consider it customer damage and that the warranty is now void. He was to take out the replacement parts he put in and leave. Up until this point the thought that the screen could be cracked and that this is something that LG would blame on the me and that they would void the warranty never even crossed my mind. Absolutely nothing happened to this TV while it was in my home that would even remotely cause the screen to crack. Plus, after careful examination with the technician we could not even see said crack. He handed me a support ticket number and tells me I need to call customer support and take the issue up with them. He disassembled the TV once again and removed the parts he installed and left. At this point the TV which was previously showing no signs of this alleged micro crack was now showing an actual crack that you could see. Here is the thing. I don’t know if this TV developed this micro crack during the manufacturing process, or during the packaging process at the factory, or during the shipping process, or during the warranty repair service. but I am certain it was nothing that I did. Plus, I would have thought this is exactly what a warranty is for. If an issue is discovered within the first year and it’s still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty you expect they will fix it. But that was not the case. All I know is I called LG out to do a repair on a TV with no obvious signs of a crack and by the time the tech left I had an obviously cracked TV and LG telling me it’s my fault and my problem. After the technician left, I picked up the phone and called their customer support as I was instructed to do. I wanted to find out where we go from here. That conversation went nowhere fast. It was basically just some foreign guy I could barely understand saying screen cracked, warranty void, nothing we can do. After some persistence on my part, he agreed to put in a ticket for a second warranty claim. He said they would review all the pictures I previously sent them and they would let me know within 24-48 hours if they could do anything. The 48 hours passed and I naturally I never heard back from anyone. I guess that is an answer in its own way. I’ve learned a lot about LG during this experience. Most importantly that LG doesn’t stand behind their product and their warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. Their online tech support and telephone tech support is terrible and warranty repairs take a ridiculously long time. We will never know if the TV came with a defect or weakness that only became known after a few months of usage or if the repair technician did something to cause damage. If it’s anything that happened while it was in my home then this product is ridiculously fragile and should be immediately recalled for being unfit for its intended purpose. What I know with certainty after this experience is that LG doesn’t care and that they are not going to stand behind their product or their warranty. Thankfully this will be the first and last LG product I ever own. BUYER BEWARE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV Very pleased with this TV. It was a replacement for 42" plasma that quit working. Wall mounting was easy and plenty of side HDMI/USB plugs. The picture quality is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The WORST install and experience ever Purchased a 83''OLED TV on Memorial Day weekend! Took too long to ship and customer service was no help whatsoever. The sale included free shipping and free installation. LG used Angie-HANDY service which is about as bad as it gets. After numerous cancellations and being totally frustrated, HANDY finally came out and did the worse install job ever! Out of level, not centered over the fireplace, loose bracket and the TV is hanging off the wall as if its going to fall. The installers looked at acted like a bunch of dirtbags. They didn't care at all about the finished product. I've reached out to the useless LG customer service dept and worthless Angie-HANDY. Latest update is that I'm hiring competent installers and charging LG for the repairs and for the proper installation. Probably the worst and aggravating experience Ive ever dealt with. I would purchase a different brand and NEVER use Angie's list- HANDY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the upgrade! Upgraded from a 65"(6 year old model) to 77" 2023 model. Huge difference in size and technology. the AI enhances the older movies remarkably. The sound is much better. Preloaded apps pretty much cover my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture, horrible WIFI This is my 6th LG OLED TV. The others are great, but this one is terrible. Wifi is very inconsistent. I have no trouble connecting other devices to my wifi. But this TV constantly drops the connection and then can't even see any wifi networks. Wifi signal is very strong near the TV and other devices have no issue. I've read that this TV has issues with eero mesh routers which is what I have. I've gone through all the troubleshooting tips with no relief. Costco is sending me a replacement TV, but after reading others experiences, I doubt it will help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG EVO TV So far, so good. Lighter than our former LG which enabled easier setup. Assistance from LG to navigate through the screen setup was needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beat=utiful by be careful with it. Beautiful picture. Without a doubt the best I have seen. The built-in app is a little awkward to use, but usable. They didn't give enough warning about just how fragile the screen is. Mine got one bump I was unaware of and it stopped working. Not covered by the warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tv is great but support is very poor I brought the tv in November 2023. The smart remote stopped working within a week. I tried all kind of ways that I found on YouTube to fix it but was unsuccessful. The reason I tried to do it myself was because I couldn’t find a LG support phone number. Tried couple time w on line chat. It was really bad. One time I posted connection and the screen popped up w a support phone number so I made the call. It still toke a month before the issue was resolved. The tv is great but the remote had issues that why I gave 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do Not buy LG TVs Did not work out of the box. Had warrantee guy come out and confirm it was panel and that they would send someone out to fix or replace. Person that came back threw the TV on bed the claimed it was cracked, whichbit was not, and left without recourse. It sickens me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV Super colors! Love the viewing angle--visible from virtually any angle. Some glare/reflection from sun through windows, but not overly distracting. Lots of capability in this TV, but wish there was a more complete manual to help me through all the various steps and options. A little pricey, but worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful picture we recently bought the 55" OLED because we built a custom entertainment center. Once we got it home decided it wasn't big enough so for an extra 200.00, we upgraded to a 65" and I'm glad we did!
