Noisy drive
Drive reads and writes all discs it should, but it has an annoying whiny noise when playing audio CD's and blu-ray movies. Fine for data discs but not for multi-media usage.

Excellent choice for 4K blu-ray discs
I've replaced an old internal DVD writer with this drive and I'm very happy with the results.
For 4K blu-ray discs you need the VLC Player (free) and MakeMKV (the beta version is free as well).
You also need to downgrade the firmware version from 1.04 to 1.03 (very easy with MakeMKV).

Needs Slimline to SATA adapter.
Works fine but as with all slim drives you'll need a slimline to SATA adapter to fit it in. No special cables just an adapter.

Unuseable
Haven't been able to use it because I haven't heard back from their tech support to tell me what cables I need to install it in an sff desktop case. I has now been over a month since it was escalated

Works...for now.
It fit in my laptop. It plays Blu-rays and DVDs.
We'll see how long it does.
Disappointed Back-order Did Not Disappoint
The LG Ultra Slim BD DVD-RW 6X SATA 9.5mm Tray worked beautifully and performs very well.
My only disappointment was CDW does not identify items that are back-ordered on their website during the purchase process.
