I was really impressed with the quality and the service, that this unit has to offer. Product is very quiet and quick to set up. The internet service is pretty quick and has very minimal latency. Works wonderful.

Tried satellite internet and regular hotspot both did not work well. Finally, we brought the LM1200 with the same SIM card that was used on the old hotspot device. it speed up the hotspot internet speed from 0.8 mbps to 7.6 mbps. Now my kids can stream YouTube video in our vacation home, and cost much less than Satellite. Great choice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not satisfied I bought this a few weeks ago but had to return it. It cut my Verizon bandwidth to less than half of what I got on my Jetpack Mifi. The device functioned ok directly connected to my laptop but it didn't play nice with my TP-Link router. The connection dropped every 2 minutes. I tried contacting Netgear tech support but they couldn't help me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great LTE Modem, Has some problems. I really want to give this product 5 stars. If you live in an area with a strong signal this product will meet your needs. However if you need an antenna to boost your signal the firmware for this model has several bugs that prevents you from properly positioning your antenna for best performance. The values for RS-SINR and RAC are never updated and always report the value of 0. As you adjust the position of the antenna the values should change allowing you to find the optimal antenna position. The values for RSRP and RSRQ are properly updated. I have an open case with support, however I have seen very little process. Searching on google seems to show that this is a know bug. This issue also if found in the LB2120 LTE modem that I own. I am running the latest firmware for both modems. If Netgear decides to fix this issue I will update this review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great It works great, we get up to 45mbps, but we do not get the same speeds as our phones, which get 80+ Mbps, as they have multiband x16 lte modems while this is a single band modem. Hoping Netgear eventually makes a x16 4g lte version of this modem.

Combined with T-Mobile SIM, and multi port standard switch and Rj45 cable, can provide Internet access for various devices PCs, Mobiles at location nearby T-Mobile 4G LTE tower. Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a modem, that's it As a simple modem, it does the job. However, unlike other products, with this product, you are not able to read texts or see logged incoming phone calls via the web interface. You'll have to switch the SIM into a smartphone/another device to do that.

It's been on 24/7 for several months now as my home internet and it never failed me. I highly recommended this one. By the way, even though it is just CAT4 LTE modem, speed is acceptable for me. I stream videos and no lag whatsoever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible on Verizon Hotspot Plans Be careful...I put in 5 hours trying to setup a Verizon Hotspot Plan on this device only to find that while it comes back and says compatible on Verizon's website, when a rep tries to issue an order for it, their system says its not compatible. Very frustrating.

But it would not talk to my solar panels envoy. This is an inexpensive unit and is perfect. It works beautifully. My solar panels are now back up to date and I can use it on my television as well. I love this an expensive 4g LTE modem.

Given the age of the device, you might want a newer device. If your area only offers LTE, this is a cheap and above average quality device. This is a solid 7/10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional, but don't expect performance as good as a 4yr old smart phone hotspot Purchased this to replace a 5 yr old Verizon MiFi modem and expected a significant performance increase. The cellular towers in the area were upgraded and my Pixel 3 hotspot could provide 80+ mbps download speeds. The LM1200 advertised 150 mbps* and never came close in actual real world use. Could not even match half the performance of the Pixel 3 without an external antenna. Adding a ~$100 external antenna brought speeds up to about 50 mbps. Tech support says the limitation is the LM1200 is only a CAT4 LTE device, “Pixel 3 is LTE-A (5CA) Cat16 1024/75 Mbps while LM1200 is LTE CAT 4 150/50Mbps”. Buyer beware this device supports limited LTE technology, thus it gets a 2 star “Fair” rating.

The Netgear LM1200 worked flawlessly and we purchased 12 more and will be buying more in future to help increase uptime and connectivity. The 5v usb cable is perfect for the device used to update signs and billboard can plug directly and is powered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Performance Works exactly as advertised. Excellent performance considering it has an older LTE cellular modem. Failover works flawlessly. I'm using it with a T-Mobile 5G SIM card and 5G prepaid data only plan, but obviously (as advertised) it only works with LTE. I've also tested it with a Verizon 5G SIM and data plan, and again it works great, but on LTE only. I can’t wait until Netgear comes put with this same device in 5G and with a newer cellular modem. I'll buy one for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great modem If you live in the country and have nothing else to pick up the net, this devise can be a game changer. It runs off the same signals as your cell so you need to be in close proximity of the towers. We are about 4 miles away. Happy with this devise and would recommend it to those who have no other choices.
