Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bring Back The Old Design I have been getting the Symmetry case for my last few iPhones so I was set to get it again for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I was a bit disappointed to see that the usual two-tone style was gone and appeared to be rubber all around but I got it anyway and hoped for the best. The case is still more sleek than some of the other options which is what I like while still feeling like it offers the protection needed. I am definitely concerned about the complete rubber around the entire sides of the case as no matter what the rubber tends to loosen up a bit a create a little of a gap even on the old style but the gapping was limited to just the middle of 2 sides (where the buttons are on both sides of the iPhone. Thankfully once the gap became bad enough it was simple to get warranty service. I worry that the gapping will be much larger since the rubber doesn’t have portions of hard plastic on the sides (only the back is the hard plastic now) but time will tell. Other than that I am still happy with the case so far. I hope in the future Otterbox will consider releasing colors that closer match the iPhone 14 colors or more fun designs like I see in the Symmetry series for other iPhone models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good case, but... Good case, buttons are easy to press. But after three months, the side edges darkened and looked dirty. There are no complaints about the rest. Perhaps this is due to the material of the case, which changes color due to contact with the skin.

However I just purchased a brand new iPhone 14 pro Max and dropped the phone from a child’s chair height as I was kneeled talking to my child, it fell onto the floor, completely shattered my back glass and my back camera. I’m so disappointed because I’ve never had issues with otter box cases

When my family got new phones I was worried about getting these instead of the industrial looking Otterbox we had before (the one that looks like it could survive being dropped off a cliff). The delivery guy set the box down while my puppy was outside and in 10 minutes the dog had the box and packaging completely torn to shreds and was working on a phone case. I couldn’t believe there wasn’t a scratch on the case. The pup is an aggressive chewer and has destroyed many things in record time so if the case survived his jaws I’m satisfied! I like the clear case so I can see the color of my new phone. Clean your phone (just wipe the smudges off with a microfiber cloth) so that it looks nice and clean under the case. Adds very little bulk which I appreciate. Has a light grip to it and is easier to hold than the phone alone. The wireless charging works great. Exactly what I wanted.

The back glass on my phone shattered within months of use. I have had several other iPhones and otter box cases and have never shattered a back glass before. And my phone has never been dropped from a very high point.

I got the case from T-Mobile when I got my phone back I’m February 2 months ago and it has gotten yellow. A part of the MagSafe thing has been broken. It can charge but when I take my phone out of case it gets out and is stuck to my phone.

I’ve had $7 phone cases work better than this. I’m very disappointed considering the Verizon sales rep hyped this product up so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn’t protect phone from breaking!!! No! I bought this when I purchased my iPhone 14 pro max new about 2 months ago and my phone has been in this case from day one! The mag safe magnet disconnected tonight while I was holding it causing my phone to drop to the floor (less than 2 feet) face down and the back of my phone shattered. I am devastated. I thought I could trust this case to protect my phone while including a mag safe magnet, instead, I now have a new phone with the back shattered and the case has never been taken off of it.

My phone fell off a kitchen counter (probably 3 ft off the ground) and the back of my iPhone completely shattered including the camera.

Loved the look of it but noticed the sides and bottom (where my hands contact the case) were discolored/yellowed after 2-3 months. I thought it was just me as I use hand lotion a lot, but then I saw another review stating the same thing.
