I love how minimal it is without the popsocket bulkyness in the back and how you can pop it right on your MagSafe charger without worrying about removing a popsocket. It’s a little flimsy but im sure they’ll make them better in the future somehow..

Unfortunately in order to support MagSafe charging, the “pop socket” is very flimsy and cannot be used as a kickstand. I loved my previous pop socket case for my Samsung, but this one is inferior in every way except being slightly slimmer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case This case is the best one I’ve had (been an Otterbox customer since my first iPhone 3G). I love the integrated nature of popsocket + otterbox protection. I have had some issues using the popsocket with some of my car / belt holders for popsockets because the shape and attachment of the popsocket on the symmetry differs slightly. Hopefully car popsocket holders fit better over time, but this case is great regardless.

I like otter box products, but this leaves little to be desired. I was also looking for a color that stood out, this is just ugly. Would not recommend.

It would have been amazing if it didnt look two years old after one week. I Love that the pop handle is flush but definitely needs some work on a better product that should last longer. It’s definitely not worth the money.

I do wish the POP out piece could be used as a stand like on other cases or add ons. However I do like that it is flush with the case and it will still work on MagSafe.

The fault with this case is in the loop grip. I have only had this case for about two weeks, and the loop already has a crease that makes it difficult to get it folded back in. I thought this would be a great way to have a pop socket and keep the MagSafe capability, but the loop is not as strong as a pop socket and I’m sure it will break completely before too much more time.

When i saw this new case i had some doubts about its durability but otterbox has never steered me wrong. It broke in one week. I am appalled that they let such a product pass their standards. I wanted another popsocket case but they seem to only care about magsafe adaptability. By far the worst case i have ever owned. I still use it with a popsocket where the cheap grip used to be that lasted mere days. The surface that i have the popsocket on will also probably break soon it feels flimsy. Do not purchase.

It’s thin, slippery plastic and it was covered in scratches within a day of light use. The grip part sticks. I will never buy another case here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect blend of function, size and fasion. Perfect blend of function and fashion. Except evidently the pop socket style gripper is so uncool according to teens (I'm 42). This feature is so handy when taking pics or securing grip. It is slim but does add a bit of size, a snug fit into phone sized pockets or fit belts. Love that it lays flat (with no rocking) as opposed to no case that rocks on the camera lenses. I'm typically dislike cover buttons since they sometimes don't push right but these are great! I got the green with the white leaves and love it!

I’ve used Otter cases for years - including the pop socket otter cases which were fantastic. this is the first time I’ve had any issues, and it’s clear the new design for the pop up grip is way too fragile.

I’ve been a huge fan of the Otterbox Pop Symmetry cases for years, so while I was disappointed not to see them available for the iPhone 15s, I decided to go with this case because Otterbox hasn’t disappointed me yet. Well, there’s a first time for everything. I’ve had the case since the phone’s launch, so a little over a month, and the grip has already torn off. The only reason I didn't give this a one star is because the case itself seems to be doing its job, but an absolute disappointment when it comes to the grip. I don’t know what happened to your relationship with PopSocket, but I hope y’all get it straightened out and give us some Pop Symmetry cases.

It’s a very functional/protective case although I do find it a super smooth material… If you are prone to dropping you may need something with a bit more grip to it. The finger hook on the back is nice to have to general scrolling but it can’t hold up the phone to watch videos + after about 2 weeks of having this case the finger hook on the back is super difficult to get to retract.

Was looking forward to this case for my brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max but after less than one week with the new phone with this case the rear strap broke. Customer service was nice and I suggested that a replacement is fine and dandy but the design is poor and it will break again. The rep, let me change to another case.

I’m not sure that falls into the Warranty category though so I just used another one until the 15 pro max was released. I just got this case in the mail and it’s BEAUTIFUL. I love neutrals and this nailed it on being cute and neutral! It has a matte finish, which I was not expecting for some reason but it’s gorgeous. I definitely recommend this case because it has a grip the goes flat! It holds up well unless your destructive toddler decides they need to break it. But otherwise it’s perfect and I will use this case as long as I can and buy another one if it breaks again.

With that said, case works well, but the things why I gave it a low score is because the color started coming off after the second day of use. When trying to call customer support they did not answer phone calls and or chats. Disappointed with the way they made this and handled the situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The OtterGrip design is awful and defective. Avoid I have owned Otterbox for the last 10 years of owning iPhones and this is by far the worst case yet. The shell is fine, but the Ottergrip is awful and fell apart within a week. It no longer closes on one side, and the contraption used is flawed engineering. Otterbox should go back to the Popsockets/OtterPop collab that worked seamlessly. This is a major fail and waste of money and time. Otterbox will also not send a replacement device (I was hoping I just had a defective one).

The back broke in under a month of use, but I’ve been making do as the warranty claim process seems to have been made intentionally difficult here. Even before breaking, the grip circle would regularly rotate or move while in use, leading to a rather slippery phone. It is simply a poor product and a step back from previous offerings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back grip strap broke after a week of use. The backstrap that holds the grip to the case, started to fray after two days of use, and broke after a week. Filing a warranty claim was very easy, but the product itself is not very good. would not recommend purchasing this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea, poor execution. disappointed. I bought this case just for the integrated pop socket. the pop socket has two bands that enable it to pop in and out. After a few weeks of light use, one of the bands bent and now has a crease in it. This crease now makes it very difficult to pop the socket back into the case & there’s no way to fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would not purchase again Worked well for roughly 2 weeks. Upon initial use, the grip worked nicely and popped back into place very smoothly. However, after only a few weeks of use, one side of the pop does not go down smoothly at all and requires a bit of force to get it to pop back down into place. This is disappointing as I bought this phone case since the popsocket/otterbox cases weren’t available for the iPhone 15 promax yet. Once they are, I will be switching back. I like the idea and the concept and really liked that they work with the magnetic charger but overall, I’m disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy with Ottergrip. Otherwise great I wish I saw all the bad reviews before buying. Now out of return window. So have to pay for warranty. I am sure the "ottergrip" thing will just break again. That is what all are saying is the only negative and I agree. The case in the symmetry series is great for protection, which is why I went with this case. I thought the Ottergrip would be nice BUT now greatly greatly regret that decision

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good case, below average grip I generally like Otterbox and this is no different. Solid case overall. But the "grip" in the back isn't the most useful. The "arms" that attach the grip to the case are pretty flimsy. I'm actually mostly using a magnetic pop socket on the back, and I use the built in grip as a backup. So it's nice to have when needed, and to keep the overall case/hand holder pretty thin.

Only had the case for a couple of weeks and the grip is about to break off. The plastic that pops in and out is very flimsy. Other than that, it’s a great case!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible - thin strips RIPPED in less than 3 mos! The flimsy grip has already torn! This is after less than 3 months of normal, gentle use. The whole point of buying this was about the grip, which I thought would be a continuation or variation of the built-in Popsocket design, which proved far sturdier on my previous phone from its corresponding Otterbox case. Very disappointed and now I have a case with a broken grip. I would not have purchased this item had I known ahead of time about the design change, as it was not clear in the description. When I logged on for help with my purchase, the option was to send me another one (same design!) with the shipping at MY cost! Utterly ridiculous! Why would I want a faulty design AND have to pay to get it sent to me??? If you couldn't come to an agreement with Popsocket to continue with their built-in design (which I can understand from a business perspective), then at least hire competent engineers to design a suitable alternative - two thin pieces of rubber/plastic CANNOT be expected to last for a reasonable amount of time. I had my prior Otterbox case with the built-in Popsocket grip for several YEARS. Given the price being charged, I would have expected a similar lifespan for this product. I have used Otterbox for MANY years and this has me seriously reconsidering doing so going forward!!

I called the warranty department annd they were busy, but I had the option for them to call me back. They are replacing my case and I don’t have high hopes that it will be durable as the pop out is very flimsy. But I’ll give it another try…

It’s not very slick when you push the holder back inside the case. Hard to manipulate. It’s made out of rubber and it bends so it will end up tearing just like mine. I’d rather get a standard case and add a pop socket.

Also the Otter grip stopped stowing away after about 2 weeks of use and is nearly impossible to get back in, so I don’t use it. Disappointed in otterbox. I’ve had several cases before and this is the first time I feel severely let down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loops tear with minimal use I do not recommend this case. After extremely minimal, gentle use solely by me (an adult), one of the loops is tearing. I hadn’t bought an OB brand case in years but loved the idea of having a loop-type holding option while still being able to use MagSafe charging. Unfortunately, OB had used low-quality materials for its loops. I am currently traveling in Europe praying my phone doesn’t fall from my hand. I’ll be returning to a different brand of case with a loop hold and hoping OB uses a high-quality material for its loops in the future.

The pop out in the back helps with steadiness while holding normally but not for picture taking. The case is smooth with no real grip and already dropped my phone twice. I would select a better grip case than this one. If the sides had more grip or slip resistant then this case would be amazing.

Sadly I purchased (and have since returned) this case.o The grip felt cheap and never did fit back into the phone case after 1 week of use! I had a iPhone 12 case with a similar grip and it was wonderful! However someone changed the design and totally blew it. It's a shame because the other grip was fantastic!

I’ve always used the otter box symmetry series ever since otter box partnered with pop sockets, but this otter grip model is not good! Will be requesting a refund and sending the case back. And I will order a case through the pop socket website that has the old style (which have lasted me many many years in the past). Do not waste your money!

The pop socket has started ripping on both sides after only a couple of weeks making it useless. It has never been able to be propped up like other pop sockets due. Very disappointing design.

I was so excited to find a way to use my MagSafe car charger and have a way to hold my big phone securely. In the past I’ve had to remove my case each time I wanted to use my MagSafe car holder. The pop socket thing is so flimsy and starting falling apart after 2 weeks of use. So I sent it back and began my search for the perfect phone case… yet again.
