Charge safely anywhere with Plugable USB-MC1-5X data blocker USB adapters, your pocket-sized cybersecurity tools. This compact adapter ensures public USB ports are secure charge points, shielding you from data theft. It's tiny in size, but mighty in defense. This 5-pack is ideal for jet-setters needing a quick power-up at airports, cafés, and libraries. Keep one with all of your devices, or pass them out to your team. Here's how a USB charge only adapter works. Devices like smartphones often refuse to charge from switched-off computers or disconnected hubs, as they must agree on the power they'll draw - initially just 100mA, bumping up to 500mA as needed. The Plugable USB data blocker adapter uses a safe, IC-free design by adding a series of resistors in between the data lines to allow for up to 1A charging. So whether it's to fend off juice jacking or to simply boost your battery, the USB-MC1-5X has your back. Peace of mind and faster charging in one little adapter.

Useful for traveling and public charge stations
This is a good product to have while traveling because its better to be have your data protected from public charging ports. This USB charging adapter works on wires that connects with type A ports. I would definitely recommend these to those who use public charging stations often.
