Plugable's DisplayPort to HDMI passive adapter allows you to connect from a Dual-Mode DisplayPort (DP++) output on your laptop, desktop, or tablet to virtually any HDMI-enabled display. Passive adapters rely on the Dual-Mode DisplayPort output (DP++) on your system in order to pass video and audio signals to an HDMI display. Adapter supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 @ 30Hz (4K) refresh rate and 2560x1440p and 1080P resolutions and below @ 60Hz. Please note: In order to display a 4K resolution the host's graphics processor and attached display need to be 4K capable

Compatibility Plugable's DPM-HDMIF adapter is compatible with systems that have a Dual-Mode DisplayPort output port (DP++) on a laptop or desktop PC to add an HDMI capable monitor, TV or projector. This adapter is not bi-directional and will not convert in the other direction. Dual-Mode DisplayPort source ports are often noted with a DP++ symbol next to the port itself. If unsure if your DisplayPort is DP++ capable, please check with your system manufacturer. Not for use with AMD Eyefinity, NVIDIA Surround, or Microsoft Surface Docking Stations.

Was so easy to hook up
Hooked up my new laptop to my big screen TV. It was so quick and easy. No problems at all with the video or sound. Now I can game on my big screen which makes it so much easier on the eyes. I'm not a spring chicken.

Using this with my Dell laptop works like a charm, no issues connecting the adapter straightforward usage. I take this cable with me in the go very handy and easily used with multiple monitors super light weight as high quality materials.

Just what was needed!
The Plugable Technologies - Plugable Monitor Adapter - DP to HDMI was exactly what was needed. It seems to work well with no problems encountered. I am not a techie so can't speak to any of the specifics, but it certainly works well for us. No complaints.

This works!
Recently got an old VR system and needed a adapter for the hdmi for the system to my laptop! It worked very well and haven't found anything negative about it. The size is perfect for traveling and compact enough so it's not in the way.

Got this free in mail to review. So far I think it works just fine for the computer in my fiancés gaming room. It is well made , it is short , it plugs in well too. Black in color I think it’s good and recommend this .
