HP Poly Legend 50 is the new and improved HP Poly Plantronics Voyager 5200. The 5200 had two large weaknesses: (1.) 6-hour battery life, and (2.) the spotty reliability of the charging case. Both problems SOLVED, noting especially the 10-hour battery life that will get you through an entire day of use. Together with the best interoperability with everything from phone functions to media playback control on the market (and I have owned 1 or 2 of the look-alike competitors, as well as the older '5200), the HP Poly Plantronics Voyager 5200 is the best BT earpiece of its kind on the planet.

BEST upgrades to a great product
Have used poly's for years. I work outside and on the phone alot so they usually last maybe a year. This one seemed different from the start. When i heard HP had bought poly i hoped they would start upgrading these and they did and all for the better. Upgraded charging case, C plugs, longer battery time....

Big improvement
This is a huge inprovement in build quality over the 5200/5220! It is tighter, smoother, and works way better. I couldn't be happier

not as good
doesn't have the functionality that the voyager legend had (redial, speaking "answer" to pick up calls is not as effective either. Not happy, especially wiht the big increase in cost

Not what i expected given the cost
i love the sound quality and clarity but constant problems with connection to my phone. i have done software upgrade and hard reset w tech support a few times. the problem still exists: i answer a call, and it disconnects my Bluetooth so i press the Bluetooth icon on my phone and it re-connects, its a terrible inconvenience. especially for professional calls. its odd cuz it happens for about 1/2 of the calls. is there a compatibility problem with Samsung 22S+ by chance?
