Love this phone.
Great phone. Upgraded from a Galaxy 22+. $500 after trade-in - love the Samsung rebate deals. Enough upgrades to make it worth getting the 24+. Looked at the 24 Ultra which was too big for pockets and the angles were too sharp for my comfort needs. The camera is still fantastic. The 24+ was just right.

Perfect and a better screen then the S21 plus I traded it for. 1140p screen is always a great to look at and better cameras too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unplanned Upgrade I had purchased the Samsung Galaxy S23+ in February of 2023. I absolutely loved that phone and I wouldn't have upgraded had I not accidentally cracked the screen. The Black Friday deals were incredible this year! To repair the screen on my S23+ would have cost me the same as to upgrade to the S24+ with my current trade-in, so it made more sense to just upgrade. I personally don't believe that the hardware and software updates from the S23+ to the S24+ are worth the steep price, but in my situation it was a necessity. I love the S24+ as much as the S23+ and will continue to enjoy all that Samsung has to offer with this very capable smartphone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade from a Galaxy A20 to a Galaxy S24+ I upgraded to a Galaxy A20 to a Galaxy S24+ with 256GB unlocked. I switched the Mint Mobile SIM card from my A20 to the S24+ without any problems. I wirelessly transferred the data from my A20 to the S24+. I had problems transferring my music playlists. That’s probably a me problem. I’ll figure it out. I do like the camera. Another plus is it is about the same size as the old A20 and fits into my carrying holster with the phone protection case on. I have had the new phone for about 40 days now. Overall, I am happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trade-In Policy and Customer Service: BEWARE! Love the phone...not so much customer service. My trade-in was sent (handed directly to a FEDEX driver in my driveway on Jan. 3rd to meet the Jan 5th deadline). Due to the winter storm that covered nearly 1,200 miles across the US with ice and snow the weekend of Jan 4-5, and the subsequent additional 3-4 inches of snow we received Jan 9-10, and FEDEX sending numerous advisories about weather impacts at their Memphis and other hubs, my trade-in is apparently delayed for an undetermined period. I received a terse email from Samsung, advising that my trade-in was not received, and that I would be charged $500 to my bank account (where my monthly payments are scheduled). And, if I blocked that $500 payment, my new device would be "disabled" by Samsung. I spoke to customer service agents via chat and phone, and was variously told my trade-in return window was extended to Jan 14 (the email I received stated Jan 11, but the chat agent told me it was "really" Jan 14. After repeatedly asking the chat agent whether I was also confirmed for monthly insurance, he could not, or would not confirm that I had opted in for insurance, and said "I would be further contacted---I was not. On Friday Jan 10, I spoke to another agent via phone, and he told me "no worries, your return window has been extended to Jan 18th" (I did NOT receive an email confirming this). I AGAIN explained that FEDEX was barely operating due to extreme weather in the US, and I had just that same day received another email from FEDEX regarding the interruption in service. I asked the agent REPEATEDLY whether he could confirm that my return had been scanned in by FEDEX and was delayed in transit. He again could, or would not confirm whether my trade-in was "in the FEDEX system," and simply delayed. He was difficult to understand (Samsung: put your call centers in the US), and kept telling me "no worries." Samsung needs to do better. Communicate better. Stop threatening customers who are *spending money* to buy your phones, and have NO CONTROL over weather delays or FEDEX. At this point, I am sorry I "upgraded" from the S22+ to the S24+.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect for me. A great purchase. Perfection. This phone is just the right size, has plenty of storage and some of the AI features are quite handy. Haven't explored all the AI features, and may not need some of them, but a couple are good enough for me, and a certain upgrade from my previous Samsung model. Samsung also makes it very easy with their trade in program. You can purchase an unlocked phone directly through them, and not have to go through your carrier. This is an awesome option, and saves from the carrier loaded bloatware that they install. They give you a decent price for your trade in, assuming it is in good condition, and after they analyze it's condition. If you are switching from another Samsung model. the Smart Switch feature is really great to move everything over. I have lost a lot of information in the past when switching over to a new phone with the carrier's backup and restore process. The battery on this thing is amazing. If you turn on the battery saver mode, it shuts down certain apps from running in the background, and then this phone has an incredible stand by time. The only thing I really wish they included on this phone, is the LED notification indicator light. It was quite nice to be able to determine from across the room if you have a notification, and what type based on the color of the LED. Handy for some who work with their hands and can't be checking their phone for missed notifications that may potentially be a new customer. The camera and the AI features for photo edits are amazing. Still digging into some of the newer features with it, but liking the ones I have discovered so far. Overall, a great phone and great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vibration Motor I have only had the S24+ for just about two weeks, the phone takes a bit getting use to coming from an S10. The swipe controls changed, and that took some time getting use to, but is not a bad thing over all in my eyes. However, there is one big downside to me and that's the vibration motor. The vibration motor is so weak that I miss calls while my phone is on my desk next to me, the alarms wouldn't even wake up a new born with how quiet it is. I honestly use my S10 as my alarm clock now because it's just so much stronger. It is such an issue that I take off 2 stars for that alone as I'm not one to always be on my phone, so I have missed calls or text more than I ever have before.

It just stays in sleep mode and so i keep trying my finger before realizing it wants my password. Other than that the phone is fine. But its getting really annoying.

I decided to go ahead and invest in the Galaxy S24+. I am very pleased with the option of purchasing online and picking up locally. Transferring the majority of my data between devices was quite easy. As with all new tech I am discovering new and upgraded features daily. I am very satisfied so far with my purchase. As for my old S20+. I kept it just for playing games and occasionally surfing the net.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good, but a bit of a learning curve. We upgraded from S10es. A lot was familiar, but then again, a lot has changed. It's definitely faster, and battery usage is certainly better. The display is clearer, and more vivid. Moving our apps and data over went well, except some useful information didn't move with a few of the apps. Facial recognition still doesn't work for me, but fingerprint does, thank heaven. My favorite puzzle app doesn't work at all! We're inveterate DIYers and pretty savvy seniors - 77 & 80 - but better documentation for getting up and up and running would have helped a lot, and a guideline for some of things that have changed over the past few years would be most helpful.

But I've had no issues or seen any obvious differences in the things I heard about. This phone takes great pictures in my opinion and runs so smoothly. I've had zero issues so far with it and no complaints. I happy with my upgrade and with trade in of my previous phone, I got it for a pretty good price too!

Aside from the AI features and new additions, there's nothing particularly standout. The camera lenses could be made smaller, and the overall camera quality needs improvement. For a phone of its caliber, the camera performance should be significantly better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from S24 Plus is an Excellent Purchase Bought my S24 plus unlocked at my local Best Buy. I was cautious at first because I am on the Cricket Wireless network. Best Buy employee told me that unlocked phones will work on any service network as long as you have "right" plan. I have the unlimited 5G plan through Cricket and my phone works perfectly. Zero problems. I just put my SIM card in and away I went.
