Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Yet I've had Samsung smartwatches since the oblong one, and this is definitely the best. 2 days after I got it I had a bad fall; it notified my emergency contacts, saying I had had a fall and was unresponsive ... actually the reason for that is I couldn't see what the watch was telling me what to do. However, it called 911 and I got the help I needed ..... resulting in an ambulance ride and 9 staples in my scalp! It also has better responsiveness than any previous model.

It was easy to switch from the turn dial like my other watch. do think the battery doesn't keep its charge as long. have a tiny wrist, so the band is easy to adjust. Overall I am pleased. But the under the hood enhancements have been something else. Bigger buttons, more intuitive software, speed, and the new health features are quite interesting and useful. I was not sure that an upgrade might be worth it from my watch 6, but I now feel that it was very much worthwhile. I'm getting one for my wife now!

Giving Samsung the benefit of the doubt I received a "dud" but if other users are reporting the same issues, then Buyer Beware. The watch did not hold a charge for more than 12-14 hours at a time. So much for tracking daily steps (or heaven forbid, anything more intense) when you have to take it off in the early evening and sit it on a charger in the middle of the high activity part of your day after work. I hardly got to use it for any of the special features because it just drained the battery even faster. No thank you.

My only issue with Samsung Health is that the calorie tracking doubles all my inputs so it looks like I'm scarfing my face instead of being conscientious about my food. My weekly numbers are always off even if I exercise and have more output than input. I have the app updated and it dis this even with my older model Watch4. Sadly it didn't correct itself with the Watch7.

The battery life improved after removing a few apps from the watch and tweaking the settings. I also found using watch faces & apps from Google Play drained the battery extremely fast - uninstall them, it makes a big difference. Samsung support thru the chat feature was fast and super helpful. So happy I purchased it, highly recommended!!

However, once Samsung sent through a software update (about a week ago) it fixed the problem completely. I've had the watch for about 3 weeks now and discover something new everyday. And tracking my steps and activities during the day automatically is very good! The only thing is that you have to charge the battery every day.

Seeing the new features and upgraded heart rate sensors made it a no brainer with the trade in preorder deal. I traded in my watch 6 for this new watch and it was a MISTAKE. I dont know why samsung would sell a watch with so many issues it was as if the watch softerware was not finished and they just decided to push it out. The battery drains so fast most days i can not even get it to last until noon after putting it on at 6am with a full charge. I am not a heavy watch user i record an hour long workout and i use it for text notifications. My watch 6 would last all day with heavy use and still have alot of battery left at the end of the day. I reached out for a return thinking maybe it was the watch itself and that was an awful experience as i had to rebuy the watch and now i have not even been refunded for the first one yet. Just dont do it.

Installed software upgrade to fix initial battery problems. So far, battery life compared to Galaxy Watch6 is just meh. Some of the other features are better, like sleep, but really, does any of it matter without a battery life that lasts more than a day? Maybe someday... I'll keep trying the upgrade game because I use Samsung phone and THAT integration between phone and watch is really nice. I remain frustrated w/ battery life.

I am still trying to figure out readiness feature. It doesn't make much sence to me. I used it for a phone call, to see how it sounded, and it is clearer then the 4 was. The person on the other end said it sounded better then the old one. All the other features seem to work the same. The battery life is the same. I was hoping for a bigger battery. It's a good watch.

How on earth can you with a straight face, tell customers this thing will last 60 hours on batter saver when it can't last the night? We also ordered a 44mm and it's been great. Avoid the 40mm.

I enjoy the larger screen and added features that are tracking my days (and nights). Fast charging and decent battery life to get you through 24hrs tracking. I find it easier to charge during shower time and that is enough to go another 24hrs. It is more responsive as well.

I miss the dial but i like that this one seems to get less dirty. I like that the 7 GPS is much smarter than my 3. But it randomly decides that I've stopped my workouts and then I have to stop doing whatever it is to tell it that I still am this needs to be updated. It's functional for my everyday life. Occasionally it decides to not receive some messages but recieves others. I even upgraded my phone to see if Maybe I was having compatability issues, it was not the case.

The design is elegant and the Cream color is pleasant, although I chose this color due to a lack of more feminine options like Rose Gold, which I would have preferred. Additionally, I noticed that the band options are somewhat limited, which was a downside for me. The initial setup of the watch was extremely easy. Pairing with my devices was quick and hassle-free. So far, I have been using the Galaxy Watch7 primarily as a watch and to view notifications, which helps me avoid the need to pick up my phone frequently. I am also monitoring my sleep, and this feature has been very useful. Fortunately, I have not encountered any difficulties using the watch. However, the battery life is still under evaluation, but it seems to run out a bit quickly. The performance of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth has been very satisfactory, with no connectivity issues. While I haven't noticed any specific feature that stands out as particularly innovative or useful, I am pleased with the overall functionality of the watch. I don't feel the lack of any specific feature, which is a good sign that the watch meets my needs well. In terms of cost-benefit, I rate the Galaxy Watch7 as a great choice. I got a very good trade-in deal with my Watch 5, which made acquiring the Watch7 an excellent option for me. If not for the trade-in, I would probably have continued with the Watch 5, as it was also a great device. Overall, I am satisfied with the Galaxy Watch7 40mm Cream Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and would recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient smartwatch with good value for money.

It's hard to get accurate health readings if I have to charge the watch over night every night. Also it would be great if I could assign a gesture to skip to the next song. I work in a lab and can't touch things with my hands. I like that I can pause/play media by just using a gesture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good watch, crappy free band Battery is horrible until you learn to turn off smart things app (samaungs version of find my app). Once this was turned off my watch easily gets 2 full days of battery with little use. Nothing else really turned off either. Before smart things was turned off even my new bud 3 pro earbuds drained like 20% in a day with no use. I think its just a huge bug or something with smart things GPS tracking. Just wasting battery left and right. I don't use the watch for nearly everything but I enjoy having a cool watch that can buzz me to alert me to a text if my phones not nearby, while gaming, or working, and I like the customizable faces. The ultra one is the best imo. I have everything I need right on it. If I ever get a lte plan this watch will be MUCH better but honestly, it's to expensive for me since I don't have a normal carrier phone plan and they wanna charge you up the butt for watch lte plans unless you have a phone plan with the carrier. Either way, I rather have the option then never being able to use it. The included free athleisure band is imo trash. It's very long and with me having a big wrist, this thing is huge on me even when I tighten it as much as I can. The way it's just designed is really REALLY bad. The end of the band basically wraps all around my wrist and back to the watch. The directions tell you can stuff it back into the band underneath, which honestly is just not easy or doable with one hand, and not good long term for the material even if you managed too. This thing is literally trash. I wish they would of given me an option for the cheap fabric one cause that one could of been mildly more useful and maybe even comfortable. This one just slides around my hand no matter how tight I set it unless it's super tight and hurts my wrist. The other band that I received is superior in every other way and I don't think I'll ever touch this piece of trash again. All in all, for a first time watch user, this was pleasant and I hope to get mildly good use out of this thing. I slapped a spigen glass screen protector on this and it was SUPER EASY. Highly recommend you buy one if you're concerned over scratching like I was due to work environment

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice smartwatch- Poor battery life The watch is very nice and it’s taking me time to get used to it's many functions. Some of them are not intuitive so I've been doing a lot of googling which is helpful. I wish it had come in gold and/or rose gold. The "cream" color is basically silver. My real complaint is the very poor battery life. The battery does not hold up for even 24 hours. I'm going to see if removing some apps, and cleaning up background apps daily will help. Another concern is its not picking up all steps when I'm on the treadmill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice upgrade from my old watch. So far I really like this watch. It seems more snappy compared to my watch 5 that I traded in. The sensors seem to work a little better on this one. If Samsung keeps on this path I will be a lifelong Galaxy user. I plan on getting a Samsung phone when I upgrade next time so I can take advantage of the ECG and blood pressure. As I get older I like the fact I can get a better picture of my overall health. This even has a sleep apnea alert if you wear it while you sleep that lets you know if you should contact your physician.

There's no gap between the watch and the band. One feature that comes to mind is the ability to decline calls with just a flick of the wrist

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't buy. Worst battery life in history Horrible battery life. Full charge before bed time. 30% when I wake up 7 hours later. Cannot even make it through an entire day when most energy saving steps have been taken (no wifi, no continuous measurements, auto on display off, no gps...). I mean, what's the point of having a smart watch if it cannot last a day with light usage? Never doing pre order from Samsung ever again. Can't imagine how a half baked product made it out their doors.

I came across a tutorial stating it is due to the design of this watch. Is that true or has anybody been able to charge it wireless by just placing in on the back of your phone? If that is the case why Samsung would you do this? Design oops?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor battery life, vinyl band is irritating Battery issues. Needs to be recharged morning and night if I want to record my pulse rate round the clock. Also, if you are doing something like pushing a stroller, a lawn mower, a grocery cart etc. it is not recording your steps. Your arms have to swing for it to count your steps. If you can get it around your ankle you get a much more accurate step count for your day. The vinyl band it shipped with kicked off my psoriasis: bought a leather band at a jewelers. Has several nifty apps but the battery drain is super annoying.

The only thing I don't love is the battery drains a lot faster than my watch3 did. I've had the watch for 2 weeks now and it still drains to around 65% by noon when I put it on at 6am.

Although I was excited about getting the latest watch, I now regret it. Being able to charge my watch on the back of my phone was really convenient. Now I'm kinda regretting buying the newest watch. I guess I should've researched that.

When I charge my watch at 6:30 a.m., I still have at least 25% around 1:00 p.m. the next day. This is with normal use including tracking a workout, making a phone call, sending text messages. And all the other little taps here and there to view my information. The battery is equivalent to the Google pixel that I had previously. So to sum it up, it's a great watch! And I would definitely recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Watch! I purchased the Galaxy watch 7 directly from the Samsung website, replacing my Fitbit Versa 2. The Galaxy watch has a lot of features and I've used some of them. I particularly like the Workout feature. I can select walking, biking, or elliptical. The only negative thing is the poor battery life. I haven't been able to get sleep diagnostics because at the end of the day, my watch battery is at 50% or less. My Fitbit had a much better battery life and I could wear it at night to capture my sleeping habits. Overall, I like my Galaxy watch 7 and I recommend it for Android users. The integration is flawless with my Samsung Flip 6!

I like it, it is easy for a novice like myself to use, but I have one issue and it's that for some reason, now when I'm in my car, my phone notifications don't sound. I'm assuming it's connecting my phone to the car Bluetooth since the phones Bluetooth is now always on but I haven't figured out a solution yet. It charges very quickly and I could probably use it for 2 days without a charge but I don't sleep with it on.
