I had a subscription to two of the major watchface apps and can no longer use them. It's so frustrating. It's been announced that when they upgrade thier older watches they will be compatible. Why not make the new product the best? Incompatibility with the majority of the market share makes this watch suck.

Watch 5 pro I have does fine, but was to be trade in so couldn't keep. Spent several hours with support and no solution, except wait 1-2 weeks for replacement. (so no health monitoring for 2 weeks)

They have the best trade in policy which is why this is my 4th Samsung Galaxy watch.

The watch monitor my sleep stages, energy score, sleep score, AGE index and my exercise activities. The battery life is improved over old Galaxy Watch. I am averaging two days of battery life which is very good for a smart watch.

I ordered the green 44mm watch with the green sports band. Samsung you should include a Small/Medium and large band with each watch. I am now forced to spend more money on an aftermarket band that typically isn't of the same quality as the oem one.

Sometimes, that is dependent on the screen or monitor connected to the computer. Same goes for a watch. Is the software functional and do I like the way I get to view the results? With my 44mm Watch7, I can say that the "screen", or the face of my watch is not as protected as all of my prior versions. It seems to all be a part of the upgrade game now. Want a watch with a metal bezel face? Well, pay twice the price as a normal Galaxy watch. It's a shameful marketing ploy by Samsung.

Sensors seem much improved as is processing speed and battery life. With my Watch 3, I could not wear it all day and then track my sleep. I can do that with the Watch 7 and still have 60% battery life!

They have all improved in various ways. So far, the Galaxy Watch 7 has had terrible battery life, which is unusual. The most recent update may help. I would recommend this watch as I believe the battery issue is totally fixable via updates. This watch is very helpful in keeping me on track during my busy days.

The watch 7 actually has all the functions I wanted but was concerned about the battery life. It wasn't even lasting half day, I was charging it mid-day at work for couple weeks. Samsung resolved this problem with an update and now it lasts all day. I'm very happy with my purchase now.

In that transition, I've gotten numerous bugs, like the weather app constantly switching units back, the health app giving unwanted notifications multiple times a day that can't be turned off, and awful support on the above issues that incompetently tried troubleshooting and only causing more problems. I am very unhappy with this trade in.

This information, along with the other information it collects during my workout/exercise provides me with invaluable insight into my health and well-being. And, for a 77-year-old happily-married American male, that information is CRITICAL. Again, I thank you for that insight.

So when I got it, I was really surprised the battery lasted about the same as my last watch, the watch 6 classic. I love it and love the band.

Seems like I need to keep the watch in battery saver mode for it to last more than a day and a half. Other than that, I like the larger size and the display is great. Also, the additional apps are a plus. Seamless Bluetooth connection to my Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Coming from a Watch 5 40MM, the 44MM is bigger and nicer to look at, great build quality and bright display. All the features are iterative, and mostly the same, just updated. The battery life so far is abysmal and disappointing. This is with the Watch 7 44MM having a larger battery than the Watch 5 40MM, and with the exact same settings, the battery is excessively draing on my Watch 7. I can go a day and a half on my Watch 5, but barely making it through 12 daylight hours. Took it off the charger at 6am and it's 12 noon and already at 63%, an almost 40 percent drain in 6 hours. Something is excessively draining the battery. The exact same settings as the Watch 5, and yet barely lasting 12 hours. I wouldn't even hazard turning on always-on-display at this stage. If I didn't already send in my Watch 5 as a trade-in, I would ask for it back. This Watch 7 needs a major performance update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Watch 7 The battery barely gets 17_18 hours on a full charge. I have cut all wifi, location off. Screen wakeup set to touch only. This is my 6 day and the battery has to be charged twice daily to get 24 hours use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's...fine I upgraded from a 4, so I had some expectations that there would be some noticeable improvements. I typically use the health features, as well as general notifications and watch features. I don't use the assistant or browser or many 3rd party apps. So, mostly I don't notice a difference. The battery life is pretty meh, maybe a little improved(still have to disable most everything to get more than a day of life). The apps are all pretty much identical. On the downside, there's currently some bugs in the new ui that are really very silly, such as being unable to disable notifications for some really obnoxious apps. No real new features that I've noticed. I got a good deal with trade in, so for the little that cost me I'm happy. I'd never pay retail on it, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgraded from GW4 It was worth the upgrade especially with the offers, i paid 80$ for the watch with trade in. Screen looks bigger ( although both are 44mm), it's brighter, battery is similar and can last 1.5-2 days. Most noticeable difference other than the screen being sharper/brighter is that it's much faster.

In general, everything is beautiful and wonderful. I just hope that the battery performance will be improved so that it can keep up with the watches on the market, which are lower than them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good watch, but with a problem for diabetics I bought new Galaxy Watch 7 44mm from the Samsung Store, but it will not work with the Abbott Freestyle Libre 3 Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). This is apparently due to a substantial upgrade to the watch cpu. The Libre 3 worked with the previous Galaxy Watch models, showing the Libre 3 readout on the watch face. This was the reason I bought the Galaxy Watch 7. Now I need to wait in hope that Samsung, Abbott, or a 3rd party will develop a solution. When and if this is fixed by someone, or a work around is provided, then my review rating will be much higher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The battery cannot hang. The watch and software experience seem really solid. However, it's unusable for what it's advertised to do. The battery barely makes it through half of the day. With pretty much everything turned off. No sleep tracking is possible it would die need to charge before bed and probably be dead before I woke up. I've had better battery life from every other smart watch I've ever owned.

Worked great tracking my steps, sleep, and calories. There was a slight lag and slow reponsive but no real complaints or issues. The galaxy watch 7 44m however is simply amazing. Super quick interface, super smooth. Very slick and stylish too. Over all a great device.

I read there is a software fix that is being worked on. I never received a notice from Samsung that this might be a problem. I never received word when a fix would be available. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

My trade in, Watch4 Classic gave me 36 to 48 hours with the same energy savings. Had I've known, I would have kept my Watch 4 Classic

Today, I truly regret having "upgraded" from my Galaxy Watch 6 to the 7. The six was a much more substantial watch with rotating bezel. The 7 feels flimsy and cheap and the rotating bezel is gone. Worst of all. I can't make it through a work day on the battery. AWFUL battery life. I have to charge it mid-day and then again before bed if I want to use it at night as designed.

I turned off the hand gestures and that helped a bit but I was actually enjoying having those on.. I love the fast processing speed and the style of the watch is great but the battery life is really making this an unpleasant experience.

Upgraded from Pro 5. This is an improvement in responsiveness and display quality. Very satisfied so far. I've owned the original, The 3, the 4 classic, and the 5 Pro. Each was an improvement, some more than others. The only thing this 7 lacks from the 5 Pro is rugged build and bigger battery..... but it's lighter, thinner, and easier to wear (you don't notice it on your wrist).

Talking to Samsung support and they don't care. They want me to take a week and half old product in for service (which they want me to pay for). I wish I didn't send in my trade in already. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the watch except.... Not Facer Compatible!! Can tell a performance difference from the Galaxy watch 5 pro. The GW7 response is snappier and smoother. Battery life is a improvement over the 5 pro. Really like the band and watch color ( green/green) It was definitely worth the upgrade with the generous trade in I got for the gw5pro. Only disappointment is I can no longer use the Facer app for their watch faces, especially since I just paid 40 bucks for a year subscription! Come on Samsung, work something out with Facer!!! Their face developers are the best and it's one big reason I bought the Galaxy watch to begin with. You're going to end up losing customers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed in battery life Battery life is drastically worse than Watch 5 Pro. I used to get almost 4 days on the Watch 5 pro, now I am lucky if I get over 2 - 2.5 days. It was nice to not need a charger for weekend trips... now it's a necessity to bring a charger. Very disappointed, the battery life is no where close to the previous watch. It is thinner and lighter, which is nice... but charging all the time is huge drawback for me.

After updates and AOD and raise to wake disabled I get about 2.5 days of battery life which is nearly a whole day more than my Galaxy Watch 4 44mm. I mainly upgraded to catch it before my GW4 battery completely died and the trade in deal was too good to pass up. Features wise the new recovery and sleep details are interesting but I am skeptical of the accuracy, otherwise it looks/feels just like the GW4.
