Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of positives, a few negatives I'm very much enjoying the watch and it's features. I'm sure I'm not using it for 1/10th of what you can use it for. The only cons I've found are the battery life (which I had read about) and also I have tried 6 ways to Sunday to set up Health Connect with Samsung Health to pass data to Google Fit and it just will not work. I use another health application that connects to fitness trackers but doesn't offer Samsung, but they do use Google Fit. And I just not seem to make it work. But being able to change the watch face to focus on different health (or other) points, the direct connect to my Samsung phone, and how many different things the watch is able to do far outweigh my issues, especially since I switched from a FitBit, which Google seems to be set on killing off. And I would highly recommend that you have a Samsung phone as that was also what I've read and been told is a super plus for buying this watch.

I and really enjoying this new watch cause it does so much more. I am still learning to use it as it has a lot of features my old watch didn't have. Highly recommend the upgrade if you have an older watch.

After updates and AOD and raise to wake disabled I get about 2.5 days of battery life which is nearly a whole day more than my Galaxy Watch 4 44mm. I mainly upgraded to catch it before my GW4 battery completely died and the trade in deal was too good to pass up. Features wise the new recovery and sleep details are interesting but I am skeptical of the accuracy, otherwise it looks/feels just like the GW4.

Other galaxy watches before this all lasted 5+ days. Would love to leave a better review but that battery is a huge minus for me.

The watch 7 actually has all the functions I wanted but was concerned about the battery life. It wasn't even lasting half day, I was charging it mid-day at work for couple weeks. Samsung resolved this problem with an update and now it lasts all day. I'm very happy with my purchase now.

Customizable watch faces with blood sugars are an absolute necessity for diabetics. To take away a feature without any regard to people with disabilities is just downright unacceptable. In that transition, I've gotten numerous bugs, like the weather app constantly switching units back, the health app giving unwanted notifications multiple times a day that can't be turned off, and awful support on the above issues that incompetently tried troubleshooting and only causing more problems. I am very unhappy with this trade in.

Battery life is a improvement over the 5 pro. Really like the band and watch color ( green/green) It was definitely worth the upgrade with the generous trade in I got for the gw5pro. Only disappointment is I can no longer use the Facer app for their watch faces, especially since I just paid 40 bucks for a year subscription! Come on Samsung, work something out with Facer!!! Their face developers are the best and it's one big reason I bought the Galaxy watch to begin with. You're going to end up losing customers!

I had a subscription to two of the major watchface apps and can no longer use them. It's so frustrating. It's been announced that when they upgrade thier older watches they will be compatible. Watch 5 pro I have does fine, but was to be trade in so couldn't keep. Spent several hours with support and no solution, except wait 1-2 weeks for replacement. (so no health monitoring for 2 weeks)

I ordered the green 44mm watch with the green sports band. Samsung you should include a Small/Medium and large band with each watch. I am now forced to spend more money on an aftermarket band that typically isn't of the same quality as the oem one.

Sometimes, that is dependent on the screen or monitor connected to the computer. Same goes for a watch. Is the software functional and do I like the way I get to view the results? With my 44mm Watch7, I can say that the "screen", or the face of my watch is not as protected as all of my prior versions. It seems to all be a part of the upgrade game now. Want a watch with a metal bezel face? Well, pay twice the price as a normal Galaxy watch. It's a shameful marketing ploy by Samsung.

Coming from a Watch 5 40MM, the 44MM is bigger and nicer to look at, great build quality and bright display. All the features are iterative, and mostly the same, just updated. The battery life so far is abysmal and disappointing. This is with the Watch 7 44MM having a larger battery than the Watch 5 40MM, and with the exact same settings, the battery is excessively draing on my Watch 7. I can go a day and a half on my Watch 5, but barely making it through 12 daylight hours. Took it off the charger at 6am and it's 12 noon and already at 63%, an almost 40 percent drain in 6 hours. Something is excessively draining the battery. The exact same settings as the Watch 5, and yet barely lasting 12 hours. I wouldn't even hazard turning on always-on-display at this stage. If I didn't already send in my Watch 5 as a trade-in, I would ask for it back. This Watch 7 needs a major performance update.

I typically use the health features, as well as general notifications and watch features. I don't use the assistant or browser or many 3rd party apps. So, mostly I don't notice a difference. The battery life is pretty meh, maybe a little improved(still have to disable most everything to get more than a day of life). The apps are all pretty much identical. On the downside, there's currently some bugs in the new ui that are really very silly, such as being unable to disable notifications for some really obnoxious apps. No real new features that I've noticed. I got a good deal with trade in, so for the little that cost me I'm happy. I'd never pay retail on it, though.

Screen looks bigger ( although both are 44mm), it's brighter, battery is similar and can last 1.5-2 days. Most noticeable difference other than the screen being sharper/brighter is that it's much faster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good watch, but with a problem for diabetics I bought new Galaxy Watch 7 44mm from the Samsung Store, but it will not work with the Abbott Freestyle Libre 3 Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). This is apparently due to a substantial upgrade to the watch cpu. The Libre 3 worked with the previous Galaxy Watch models, showing the Libre 3 readout on the watch face. This was the reason I bought the Galaxy Watch 7. Now I need to wait in hope that Samsung, Abbott, or a 3rd party will develop a solution. When and if this is fixed by someone, or a work around is provided, then my review rating will be much higher.

The battery barely makes it through half of the day. With pretty much everything turned off. No sleep tracking is possible it would die need to charge before bed and probably be dead before I woke up. I've had better battery life from every other smart watch I've ever owned.

Worked great tracking my steps, sleep, and calories. There was a slight lag and slow reponsive but no real complaints or issues. The galaxy watch 7 44m however is simply amazing. Super quick interface, super smooth. Very slick and stylish too. Over all a great device.

Today, I truly regret having "upgraded" from my Galaxy Watch 6 to the 7. The six was a much more substantial watch with rotating bezel. The 7 feels flimsy and cheap and the rotating bezel is gone. Worst of all. I can't make it through a work day on the battery. AWFUL battery life. I have to charge it mid-day and then again before bed if I want to use it at night as designed.

The only thing this 7 lacks from the 5 Pro is rugged build and bigger battery..... but it's lighter, thinner, and easier to wear (you don't notice it on your wrist).

They have all improved in various ways. So far, the Galaxy Watch 7 has had terrible battery life, which is unusual. The most recent update may help. I would recommend this watch as I believe the battery issue is totally fixable via updates. This watch is very helpful in keeping me on track during my busy days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, but... no facer? Love it! Moved from watch 3 to this and it's much more responsive. Don't miss the rotating bezel much. Only negative is my facer watch faces do not transfer and you cannot use facer with this watch.

I got a $225 trade value for my galaxy watch 6 44mm plus they were running and additional instant savings on the Galaxy 7. My total purchase price was only $30.72 at check out! That's insane! I've gotten similar deals on my s22 ultra and my s23 ultra and I'm sure I will when I get the s24 ultra or s25 ultra.

I liked my first one so much that I traded in my old watch 4 when I got a good trade-in offer so now I alternate between two watch 7s and don't have to worry about the battery life. I can also read the screen easier since it's bigger than the Watch4.

I have owned many samsung watches in the past and more recently the 2, 4, 5, etc...They have traditionally always felt sluggish compared to a pixel watch or other brand such as the Oneplus Watch 2. This time they have finally nailed down the performance. They have also fixed an issue I have always had with prior watches with the screen being too sensitive and 50% of the time I would go to look at the time, and somehow had triggered a different watch face or mode that I never intentionally enabled. So far I have really enjoyed this watch a lot. My only complaint would be the "trade in" process. I send in my watch 5 and its been over 2 weeks and they still have not credited my account.
