Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor service after the sale Purchased and returned this watch because I could not exchange the watch bands that were to large for the smaller size. I was told to return the watch and reorder it with the smaller bands. Doing this doubled the price I paid since the promotion was no longer available. This was 1 day after I received the watch from Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The battery is the worst My husband and I got rid of our Fit Bit we have had for a few years because our phone provider T Mobile said that the watches were so much better. We have not been able to wear these 7's for 24 hours. The battery is the worst that we have seen. I should have read the reviews before we agreed. Not worth the headache. My husband is about to throw it in the drawer ad get a new Fit Bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs work or upgrade to better, samsung do bette So when I first got it battery life truly sucked I hate to reset my entire watch and now it's been 32 hrs and I'm at 21%. Now idk if that will stay that way or not but I will say tech team needs to fix this or when they make another newer watch with a better battery life everyone that bought a watch 7 should get a trade in at absolutely no cost not even taxes. Also has anyone had the problem where they shut their watch off and it comes back on?? Been havin that issue. Also does anyone know of a good picture app where we can upload a picture from our gallery and put it as the background as our watch face for the 7 that is?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressive, aside from the USB-C charger While I just got this watch, over all, I am very impressed. The one big downside is the charger. The charger has a USB-C plug. Since this is still not universal, and the charger does not come with an adapter, it is nearly unusable, unless I plug it into my computer. Fortunately, the watch will charge on my old charger. The watch band is another detractor. Once latched, the end of the band slides through a hole, and under the band. This is very awkward and is inconvenient to loosen. Samsung needs to do much better at end user involvement. My Galaxy watch 4 was great, but I wanted an upgrade. The 7 is wonderful. The battery life is excellent. I turned off the "always on" option and I can get through a day on less than 10% of the total charge. Extra features are quite good as well. For instance, there is an Energy Score that provides very similar results to my Morpheus Heart Rate monitor. While I am not concerned about sleep apnea, I am curious to see how this works. I do not have sufficient data to get a reading just yet. All in all, I recommend this watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Upgrade From The 4 Classic I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic to the Galaxy Watch 7, and the improvement has been noticeable in almost every aspect. Here’s why I’m thrilled with my new watch, though there’s one downside worth mentioning. What I Liked: The Galaxy Watch 7 has a sleek, modern design that feels much more refined compared to the Watch 4 Classic. The slimmer profile and larger, more vibrant display make it comfortable to wear and easy to use. The screen is crisp, with sharp resolution, and navigating through the watch is a breeze. Performance has also seen a significant boost. The Galaxy Watch 7 is faster and more responsive than the Watch 4 Classic. Apps open quickly, and scrolling through menus is smooth, making everyday use much more enjoyable. The enhanced processor and extra RAM definitely contribute to a better user experience. Battery life is another area where the Galaxy Watch 7 outshines its predecessor. With the Watch 4 Classic, I often found myself needing to charge it daily, but the Watch 7 lasts a day and a half with regular use, which is a huge improvement. This added convenience means I don’t have to worry about recharging it as often, even on busy days. The health and fitness tracking features are more accurate and comprehensive on the Galaxy Watch 7. The advanced sleep tracking, improved heart rate monitoring, and new body composition measurements provide valuable insights into my health and wellness. These enhancements make it easier to stay on top of my fitness goals. The Downside: One significant downside I’ve encountered with the Galaxy Watch 7 is the lack of support for some third-party watch face apps like Facer. On my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, I enjoyed the ability to customize my watch face with a wide variety of options through these apps. Unfortunately, the Watch 7 doesn’t currently support Facer and similar apps, which limits the customization options. This has been a bit disappointing, as I loved the personalization that those apps provided. Overall: The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is a substantial upgrade from the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in terms of design, performance, battery life, and health tracking. While the lack of support for third-party watch face apps like Facer is a downside, the overall experience with the Watch 7 has been fantastic. If you’re considering an upgrade and can live without extensive watch face customization, the Galaxy Watch 7 is an excellent choice that I highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch not compatible I'm not sure how to rate this watch as I'm not able to use it. This watch does not connect to my phone and your website should have listed the phones that are not compatible. I have a Samsung Note 9 which still works great but this watch does not talk to my phone. This watch will probably sit on the shelf for awhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will not calculate some scores for GRAVEYARD WORK I would give 5 stars if..... they change the energy score and sleep score to accommodate graveyard Healthcare workers! I work graveyard 4 days of the week and my energy scores sleep scores etc. Do not calculate on the days I work graveyard. It keeps telling me to wear my watch to bed to calculate but it does not realize I am sleeping during the day not night. Please work on this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's worse than I expected it to be Was rold I can download Pandora and map my walk. Can't. Sure map my walk connects to samsung help but you can't see a map of where you are like when you're using the app. And apparently you can download pandora through samsung internet on your watch. Well I can't get samsung internet on ky watch either. And today had 100% charge at 8 am. Dead at 6 pm with battery save mode on and blue tooth off. Also it's a c port charger that doesn't come with a block! Also fits my wrist uncomfortably and still no square design. 100% dissatisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heart rate monitor needs improving Many great features on this watch. Upgraded from the Watch4 to see if the heart rate monitor was more accurate. Unfortunately, it never seems to match the other devices I use specifically designed as such.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smartest watch yet I would have loved a 2+ days battery life , beside that Samsung made an already smartwatch even smarter, the new chip and biometric sensor are a proof of Samsung attention to hardware, while sharing the software with Google the One UI 6 is polished , seamless integration with my s24 ultra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great watch /poor battery life Love the upgraded features on the watch - Although the sleep apnea monitor is a great feature in theory, it has a hard time recording... saying watch may not be snug enough. The biggest issue is the battery life. I have to charge this watch twice as much as my galaxy watch 5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy Watch 7 I traded my Galaxy watch 5 Pro with 7 due to allergic to the previous watch. I like 7 is smaller, thinner and lighter than my previous one. And yet, it has all the functions and more. It has been less than a month I cant tell if this watch will cause any allergy. One thing I don't like is the battery life, it is not long enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Features are good, battery life sucks... This is the second galaxy 7 watch I've had in 2 weeks... the battery life sucks... turned off stuff and it still doesn't last thru the day... usually about 11am it gets hot and then loses 50% battery life... doesn't track all my steps, definitely don't like this watch.. features are good, battery sucks.. I'm taking it back for the third time and want another watch not this kind... would not recommend...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from terrible battery performance Initially, the battery lasted about 48 hours, I was very happy, but now a week later it will not make it thru a single day. Google Assistant disabled, Always On Display turned off, doesn't make any difference. Terrible experience, and wish I hadn't traded-in my Watch4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Watch This watch is really the best smart watch if have owned. However I had to return it because the trade in part of my order did not transmit it and Samsung basically that was my problem. Without the trade in I couldn't justify the expense. Great watch and lousy policy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Upgrade I have In Awhile I bought this watch to replace my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic The 4 classic which was a ok watch but I had many problems with it was fine for normall but when came to work out it would drain the battery super fast. The 7 has a way better battery and the work tracker is the best I have seen in galaxy watch and i have had my far share of them. The speaker and calling is also awesome much better than the 4 same with the responsiveness much better then the 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible battery I updated to the watch 7 because my watch 6 was becoming laggy. The battery on the watch 7 is horrbile!! It barely lasts a day. There was an update to the watch that made the battery worse than it was. I wish I kept my watch 6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Been using this for a few weeks now. Had the Galaxy Watch 4. I upgraded because of a generous trade in allowance on my old watch. The watch looks good and is very comfortable to wear all day. The battery life is very good. The watch is more responsive to swipes and taps than my previous one. The health monitoring seems to work well. I have tried sleep tracking and other features and they seem very accurate. The price was the main reason for me to upgrade and I'm not disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a great watch for fitness I've had this watch for a little less than a month. I upgraded from a 4 so I was hoping for some noticeable improvements. So far the battery has yet to last me a day and half. I got this watch mainly for my health and sleep stats and insights. The heart rate seems to be inaccurate during every single workout. It will say my heart rate will be in the lower 100s during an intense cardio workout, but then spike up when I am sitting on the ground after the workout. It also doesnt auto detect workouts. I did an hour workout and it didnt auto detect a thing, but somehow auto detected "walking" when I was folding laundry. The step count also seems inaccurate since I've been getting a considerable less amount of steps a day even though my routine hasn't changed. The sleep stats seem great. I had a whoop for years so it's nice to have hrv in this watch and an energy score. Overall it's meh. Would love a more accurate fitness centered watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won't charge Returning mine tomorrow, had it for about 8 hrs and right out of the box it refuses to charge for more than 2 minutes. Using all the official adapters and chargers. Charging is a basic function and samsung failed at it. Sad, especially when they boast the watch with a price that reflects the hype. Not to mention I lose $30 on the screen protector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over priced for what you get Have had this watch a week and will not even hold a charge for a full day. How are you to track your steps and sleep when it can barely stay charged for 12 hours? I have turned on power saving, deleted a bunch of apps, use it for time and counting steps so it can last for 12 hours. Why have it if you cannot even use it to its full potential? Very disappointed when you spend this kind of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery improved. I don't know if it was an upate the one that made the battery last way more than when recently bought. Overall the watch response to open an app or measure your heartbeat is remarkable, if you like to measure your workouts while looking at your accurate bpm this watch is a very good option to do so, don't hesitate

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible customer service and battery life Purchased Galaxy Watch7 because of attractive trade-in promotion. But huge dissapointment on two fronts: 1. The strap was longer but could not get a replacement (Samsung customer service is horrible for hanging up my phone call after almost 45 minutes on hold for the representative to sort things out with the back-end team); 2. Battery life on 40mm watch is not great and does not even last a day. Overall, very dissapointed with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Depends on what you want it for Overall, works well and battery life has been good enough. I use it a lot for running, and the GPS has been accurate. But on that note, the heart rate sensor leaves a lot to be desired. It's okay at best. At times, especially early in a run, it will peak to a very high and inaccurate number. Unfortunately, I can't pair the watch with an external Heart Rate Monitor, hopefully Samsung adds this function later on. Another complaint with workouts is you need to use the touch screen to start and end a workout (although you can pause with a button). This can be difficult when you are tired and have sweaty hands. Hopefully Samsung can fix this as well. I like it for the smartwatch features and the watch is badequate enough for exercise. It ultimately comes down to what you are looking for, but overall, I'm happy with the purchase so far. If you use it for exercise and don't care about the Smartwatch features, there are better and cheaper options, but I find this watch to be an excellent compromise if you want both.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy Watch7: The Charm for Sleep Tracking My initial Galaxy Watch7 had a frustrating issue where it wouldn't track my sleep, but thankfully, the replacement has been working flawlessly. I'm now able to enjoy the full range of features this smartwatch offers, and I'm especially pleased with its accurate sleep tracking. If you encounter any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to Samsung's customer service – they were incredibly helpful in resolving my problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heart rate sensor is an absolute joke! The sensors on this watch are nothing more than a gimmick. The heart rate is absolutely ludicrous. I can lay my harm on a desk and take the heart rate back to back to back and get readings of 54, followed by 89, followed by 67. When I say it is an absolute joke, I mean it is laughable. Do not get this for health reasons like I did. If you just want a smart watch, it is fine. If you want it for heart reasons or sleep apnea measurement, please don't waste your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fix update I posted yesterday about a no charging issue. After talking with a patient and friendly rep, I got my issue somewhat resolved. My Watch 7 now can charge to 100%. The fix was a simple reboot. It needs to be rebooted before each charge, but everything works fine. This fits my needs well enough. It does lose battery life quickly, (2%-3% an hour with normal use), but many bells amd whistles. ????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New features you'll like, some you won't I bought this watch in cream, which is really silver, to upgrade from the watch 5. Overall, I like the new features. 2 downsides and why I only gave it 4 stars, one you cannot charge this edition on the back of your phone due to the way the sensors are now and the back is a little more rounded, number 2 I am having trouble getting my YouTube music, which I pay for, to play on watch, it seems to only play from Spotify app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWFUL HORRIBLE WATCH 7 I have had the Samsung Galaxy watch 7 for about 3 weeks now, I got it pre-ordered before it was released. I've had the Active 2 for years and I have to say, this new watch is a DOWNGRADE from that. The 7 is not at all what was advertised, The battery life is the worst. I walk at 5am for about an hour and have to charge it while getting ready for work, about 8am I put watch back on and go to my mostly desk job, take the stairs to 3rd floor several times a day, leave work and walk again for an hour at 6pm only to run out of battery during 2nd walk! I should not have to charge my watch twice a day. I just got back from my morning walk and when I got home before I could stop my workout, the watch shut off and my workout was lost! I was so mad. I have ALWAYS used Samsung products and was going to even get the ring, which is why I "upgraded" to the watch 7. I have never had a issue with Samsung until this watch. You can not use any of the cool features or your watch will die after only a few hours. Last night I started my walk at 58% battery, and was down to 7% after 40 minutes! That is not acceptable. Trying to get someone to help me has been a NIGHTMARE. Don't get me started on VERIZON! Ugh. I use my watch to motivate me, I've lost over 130lbs with about that much more to go, so I am no athlete by far, the watch 7 has been a big disappointment and a GIANT WASTE OF MONEY. And customer service has been no help. They tell me not to use apps on it, or the features and I'll get more battery life! Why have a fancy watch then? One of the 4 EXPERTS I talked to said I should upgrade to the Ultra!!! Why? I want this expensive watch to work, I don't watt l want an even more expensive watch! And the trade in discount is a joke! After 2 hours on the phone to resolve this and 3 humans and 1 AI, nothing has been resolved. I'm going to try again this weekend when I go into the city, I live very rural, and I hope to talk to an actual person in front of me. I am hoping I just got a defective watch and can redo this review. I love Samsung, but I HATE this watch 7 so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery life is terrible. I was really happy with this watch for about a half a day until I noticed the battery draining. I get far less than 24 hours of battery life per charge so in order to keep my watch from dying I have to put it on the charger twice a day. Had I known I never would have gotten it and I would advise anyone who's thinking about buying one to wait and see when and if Samsung can solve this problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than watch5 I didn't think it would be that much of a noticeable upgrade over my watch5. Boy was I wrong. Using the same settings I had on it with hr turned on I get so many more hours out of this than my old watch. I love it. Sensors seem to be more accurate only negative I have is all my old watch faces I lost but I'm sure with time they will become available again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watch 4 user upgrades to Watch 7 Coming from watch 4 to watch 7, the look itself didn't change at all, cuts the learning curve, which is a good thing. The battery was pretty bad from the box that would only last about 14 hours with very light use - few times I didn't even have it on, just unplugged from charger then it died after 14 hours... But the update from early August seems to fix this problem drastically, the up time prolongs to over 2 days!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awful battery life Awful battery life and battery drain. Cool watch but might as well be a paper weight with the poor battery life. I can not make it through an 8 hour work day without it dying and if you leave it off the charger over night it loses 40% battery. I came from a watch 4 where you never had to worry about charging for at least 24 hours so this is ridiculous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feature full and bad battery life From a functionality perspective, this watch is awesome. However battery life has been less than 24 hours (it was at 22% at 7 pm after starting the day at 100%). and that is with the screen set only to display when hand is turned up, display brightness set to auto, etc. A smart watch that you can't wear because it needs to be in the charger is useless. Perhaps I need to keep my old Fitbit on my other wrist?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Galaxy Watch 7 I wasn't seriously considering the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 until I saw an article about Samsung offering trade in values for older watches towards the Galaxy Watch 7. After finding I would get full value for my Galaxy Wach 4 (minus sales tax) I purchased the watch 7. I have been very impressed by the upgrade in performance as well as added features compared to the watch 4. I get 24 hours of battery life per charge and have been very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery does not hold at all On 07/22/2024 I ordered Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 LTE version. 07/25/2024 I received a watch. However from a day one it had an issues with how log the battery last. My watch does not last more than 10 hours on a single charge with most of the features turned off (WiFi, Bluetooth, AOD, etc.). If I use the watch as an intended for smartwatch (with smart features on) it lasts even less. I made a mistake not returning the watch immediately because I was promised that the new software update will fix the issue. Once new software update was rolled out - it did nothing to the life of the battery for my watch. 09/05/2024 I reached out to Samsung to resolve this issue and they filed a ticket to send my watch to service center for a repair. 09/10/2024 I received my watch back from service center and they claimed that they replaced a battery and a barometer. However it did not solve a short life span of the battery. The watch still holds the change maximum ~10 hours with everything turned off. I reached out again to Samsung. They said the only option they can offer is to send my watch again for a repair again. I don't believe anything has change since last time they attempted to repair it, so I don't believe they would repair my watch this time. They are just sending me into an infinite loop until the warranty expires. Please give my money back or provide a replacement non faulty device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy trade in & up! Love my new galaxy 7. I liked my old one as well, but when I got the offer to trade in my old one and receive the new Galaxy 7, I jumped on it. It has better fit functions, sleep monitoring, heart rate monitor, etc. Took a bit to get used to and set up, but after a day or so, feels like the old one, just upgraded. The graphics and battery life are better as well. Also, the trade in was very easy and straight forward. Just ordered the new Galaxy 7, filled out a form for my trade in and send it in the box that the new Galaxy 7 arrived. Less than a week later I got a notification that they received my old trade in and honored the amount $ for the trade in. Perfect and easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The short battery life nullifies any improvements I decided to finally upgrade from my original Galaxy Watch and wanted to take advantage of the trade in offer. The features seem pretty nice but I can't even get a full day on a charge. That is with MINIMAL use (no texting, workout tracking, gps/apps, heart rate monitoring, etc), literally just having it on and checking the time occasionally. My current watch still gets at least a few days (which i wasnt expecting in this one, all i wanted was a reliable 24 hours). I've done all the diagnostics commented from other reviews and everything is fine. Compared to my 4+ year old galaxy watch it seems faster but with the battery being that bad, it isnt enough of an improvement to keep. I'll be returning this and keeping my old one (which blows my mind). I thought I gave samsung enough time to make a better watch, but i guess they need at least one more year. It also said it came with a free additional band when pre-ordering, which never came.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE BATTERY LIFE This is the worst watch yet. I started with Samsung's watch 3 and upgraded to every one since. This watch 7 is by far the worst watch. The battery is horrible and won't even last a sleep cycling of 8 hours which is kinda laughable since they are supposed to track your sleeping habits through the night. It won't even last through the night. You can try to go through all the settings and make it save power but nothing helps not even power saving mode. I think that drains the battery even more! I wish I would have just stuck with the watch 6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery life is horrible I was so excited about the 7. Last watch I had was the 4. I'm extremely disappointed. If I put my watch on at 8:30 am it's dead by 3 pm. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery performance is really bad and drains quick Battery life is really pathetic for my 40mm non-LTE Galaxy watch 7. I have to recharge it couple of times a day and even with all the health monitoring disabled. The battery drains almost 6-7% just staying connected to Bluetooth. I have used Galaxy watch 2 active and watch 4 and their battery was way better. I contacted chat support after using 6 days and they told me to give it few more days and did not really help me with any diagnosis. This is a shame that this brand new watch has this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One major issue Battery life is no better than my old Watch 4 Classic. I didn't mind the lack of the rotating bezel, that is, until one major problem presented itself. I often wear long-sleeve shirts for work and working out. When I sweat, the wet sleeves trigger the touchscreen, randomly turning on various apps, dramatically reducing battery life. Otherwise, it would be a nice watch. On my 4 classic, the raised edges of the rotating bezel must prevent that from happening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features. Battery Life Makes it Useless Battery life is terrible. Started with a 100% charge at 9 pm, it's below 50% at 7 am. It's more of a virtual pet you have to keep feeding than a watch. Unless something changes via software, this product is unusable. It's too bad, because the apps and features are awesome. But when I have to keep taking it off to keep it charged for even 10 hours, it stops being usable.

It's very inconsistent with the longest its lasted being about a day and a half and the shortest being a half a day. Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Battery Life The features the watch offers are great. However, the battery drains quickly, even after the supposed patch fix. Sleeping it losses 25-30% from 100%. Turning bluetooth off helps but still 15-27%. If watch updates while sleeping, losses 85%! I have turned off wifi, any fitness tracking, heart rate monitor, location, notifications, and anything that can be turned off and still have to charge 1-2 times a day. I've only had for just over 2 wks but turning everything off isn't what I purchased it for. Overall not happy due to extreme lack of battery life. The sleep and fitness tracking are very good and detailed info but if I use them I have to charge it 3-4 times a day. Unacceptable for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From Galaxy Watch Active to Galaxy Watch 7 I was not planning to upgrade from a Galaxy watch Active, which I had for four years, but when I saw the offer for a trade in at $100.00, Veterans Discount of $8.50 and a sale promo of $30.00 I took another look. What sold me with the discounts was the improvements in the watch. Everything from exercise to additional features that I didn't have in my old watch. I received the watch in a week after order and proceeded to set up which was easy and quick. After setting up and after a few changes to the watch face and settings that I preferred I started wearing the watch. I ordered the watch in 40mm and Green and like the color over the previous watch of Black. I have each watch face set for steps and the exercise app set for indoor bike and walking. I like that there is a speaker that beeps on notifications and also if I am away from my phone that the watch will ring and allow me to answer. Overall, I am satisfied and expect to get several years with this watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Health monitoring The health app is a joke. 1. You can set the time for the activity but not the intensity; there is not a chart that takes your biometrics and correlates the calories burned. 2. The notification for inactivy can't be changed, it is set at 50min, that is a long time not to get up and move. 3. The calorie calculator does not sync with most apps and does not calculate macronutrients like other apps; If you have an app that tracks your macronutrient goals for the DV (say how much B12 you got that day and how much you need by the end of the day), recipes and familiar foods (for quick entry), you will not get this information. Inversely, other nutrition apps that need the activity levels to calculate your nutritional needs are not allowed to import your activity from the galaxy watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the New Watch Love the watch! Coming from a Watch 4, I like the new band, and the battery life seems to be much beeter than my 4. My critical feedback is that being 3 generations newer, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of differences. Also, really wish Samsung Wear app supported standalone routines for the watch, not ones only dependent on your phone's status.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not much difference for me. Nice watch. I don't use many of the apps that are available, so I don't see a difference from the Galaxy 4 that I replaced. The only compensation is that it is newer and likely will be supported longer,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible incomparability with non Samsung phones I recently purchased the Watch 7 to only realize afterwards that Samsung is apparently aspiring to be like others by gatekeeping key features away from non Samsung phone users. I can't use irregular heart rhythm detection or many other features. Also has subpar integration with Google apps. I don't want to download second rate Samsung apps for everything to get this watch running properly. I'll be returning this watch unless they have a fix

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love it!! I traded in my Galaxy Watch4 for this watch and I love how it's similar, but more technology advanced. It's much more responsive, and the AI features go great with my Galaxy S24. Not to mention, battery life is much better in comparison.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GPS is Garbage The GPS on this watch is very inaccurate, and does not come close to what I get using only my S23, and what I got on my many years old Galaxy Active watch. That watch always agreed with any of my phones. I used the new watch on vacation when we were around 5,000 feet elevation and a completely clear sky. Even under these ideal conditions it was still not accurate. Second, the watchband style where the excess is pushed under leaves bruises on my arm. On my Active watch I had to buy a replacement for the fix. Samsung, this is not the high quality that we expect from you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too Big for Small Wrists I went with the 44mm because it has a larger battery, but it looks massive on my wrist. I wear the S/M band on the smallest notch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This watch is awesome! Easy to use and looks very nice! The battery could definitely be better, but it's not terrible. I make sure to turn on power saving mode so it last a little longer. Definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible battery life I bought this about a month ago, and wish I could trade it in. I highly regret trading in my S5 watch. I want to trade in the S7 for cash towards the ultra, but have not found away because I dislike this watch so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shop elsewhere. You will have regrets. This thing Do not buy this. The battery life is terrible. Customer service is even worse. I'm not even getting half the recommended battery life. And Samsung acts like they have no idea. Yet it's all over the internet. Samsung knows. They just want your money. You will have regrets. Go find a better product somewhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battery is an issue I got Galaxy watch 7 replacing my Galaxy watch 4. Functionality is definitely better but the battery life not good. It almost takes twice the time to charge compared to my previous model and the battery dies a lot faster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not like the new Watch Face Format Overall, I love samsung watches and have had most of them since they've come out. However, this new watch face format is changing my perspective. I feel very locked into a limited ecosystem. The reason I use samsung / android products is the ability to be adapt my products the way I like them. The abity to use programs like that allow me to create my own designs is portant to me. So I'm hoping that samsung/Google works with developers to allow for these programs and flexibility. Otherwise this may be my last watch purchase from Samsung. I rated 2 on performance due to this new wff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not worth it, get a pixel watch instead I traded in my galaxy watch 5 for the 7, and it was the worst mistake I've made in upgrading any smart piece of technology in the last 10 years. The watch itself has all the same bugs as the 5, with a bunch new annoyances that go above and beyond to annoy me. The Samsung health app notifications are now 100% unblockable, which means I get at least 3-5 useless alerts on the watch about whether today is going to be my day, or that I'm halfway to a goal, etc. On the 5 I could block these, but on the 7, impossible. Not to mention all their support documentation is out of date and still mentions options to disable them that don't exist. The other major problem that many other people also report having is that the weather complications NEVER UPDATE automatically when the watch is connected to anything other than a Samsung phone. I have a pixel 8 pro, so I have to manually force a weather update every time. I've installed Google's weather app, but they have only two complications, so not as robust of an experience. Both of these core functions are broken, and no word of fixes in sight. I am planning to trade this for a pixel watch the first chance I get where they offer a trade in, because Google isn't accepting trades for the 7 yet. Samsung should be ashamed of itself. They made a worse watch than one that's 3 years old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Allergic Reaction, horrible customer service! Do not buy if you have allergies. This is not my first Samsung watch purchase. Everything was fine with the watch itself, but I had a severe allergic reaction to the watch band. I reached out to see about a replacement band after having the item less than a month, and was told there's nothing they can do. Honestly the worst customer service ever!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longer battery power, great features Purchased the Galaxy Watch 7 via preorder and I love it. My battery lasts for several days. I only charge it 1-2 times a week. I wear it 24/7 to the gym, everywhere and I find it to be faster and more efficient than My Galaxy Watch 4. I love the watchband too because of the convenience of just buckling it like a regular watchband, and I don't have to slide the strap into a slot. More workouts choices and I can set each workout to my desired length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complex Tech but a Powerful Tool This watch is my first smartwatch so I have nothing to compare it to. But as a newcomer to this technology, I find there is a learning curve to getting familiar with it. You definitely need to be familiar with the health rated topics to use the features and how to understand the info the watch gives you. That isn't even touching on the understanding of how the watch and cell phone interact with one another. There is a lot going on all at the same time. Thank God for YouTube tutorial videos. This is not the product for someone who is not tech savy. All that being said it is a powerful peice of tech on the wrist. The other factor to take into account is the battery life. If you read up on this watch you must be aware that you're going to need to charge this up daily to get the full use of the watch. Other than it being very complex and needing to charge it daily, I am enjoying my Watch 7.
