Excellent portable SSD at a great price!
Bought this portable SSD a year ago and it's been a great investment! Super fast transfer speeds and literally a plug n play device. No setup or formatting was needed to start using it. Originally used it to back up our aging laptop (now replaced) and now use it for digital photo storage. Really happy with the amount of storage for the price we paid. Purchased at Best Buy.

Hardware failure
Died after less than 3 months. First random write errors then completely unreadable. Samsung Magician just spun and spun trying to read it. Rapidly flashing blue light when connected. It's toast. Going to call support on Monday. 5 year warranty so should be an easy swap.
