Terrible experience with support.
purchased this item new from best buy, online . samsung will not except online receipt, to confirm warranty . so i am stuck with this new tv with no warranty. if i had know this prior to the purchase, i would not have bought it. do not trust samsung, and there support! never again...

i have two of these tvs, both at times will not turn on. i have to unplug then plug back in to get them to turn on. one stopped working after eight months, nothing but a black screen.

Don't Waste Your Money - Poor Quality Product!
Really BAD quality - I wish I could give Zero Stars!
The WiFi failed at 7 months, randomly changes channels while searching Guide, loses OTA antenna signal when Sony 32" in other room has it, processor gets overwhelmed & stops sound or picture or all, goes to blue screen & unplug restart is recommended fix, & other features failed within 1st year or so. Things started failing right after the vendor's 6 month return policy expired.
This has poor quality junk components, undersized "smart" TV processor & memory, & really bad software/programming.
The Samsung walk-in warranty is worthless, & it costs more to fix under warranty than buy something else non-Samsung.
The one good thing is Samsung Plus streaming channels.
This is no way to build confidence in Samsung's high priced big TVs which we now will NOT consider!

Beautiful Picture, Terrible Browser
A friend said I really needed a smart tv and since I have a samsung phone which operates well, I thought this would be a good brand to try. The picture is absolutely wonderful!! The sound was very inconsistent until I finally got the remote working and was able to change the setting to Optimize. The browser is just plain terrible. I think you should add $20 to the price and include a usb keyboard/touchpad. One is coming Monday. I almost threw the whole thing out the window trying to type in url with the remote. Unnecessary frustration. Update the browser and the rating would go up and I would be able to recommend to a friend.

Problem with power, tv will not turn on.
Purchased this tv just before Christmas, and immediately had the problem with the tv not turning on sometimes. I have used the reset of unplugging the set and waiting 10 minutes before turning it back on. This works but I don't see why I should have to use this process 2 or three times a week.
I will have no choice but to return the set if this problem continues.

TV can’t crashing our break every other week
Tv worked fine at first after a while the applications did my work and eventually the picture would never show and all I’m left with is a black screen and sound. There were so many issues filing a service request I’m gonna just end up throwing away the tv because it is trash now. And a waste of money.

Faulty Piece
It seems i got the faulty piece of this TV. my screens got blurred when I make the TV on. It seems the LED Screen is broken from inside.I brought this to India now I am looking for way to get it shipped back to USA from INdia. Hope Samsung can help me with this.

Great TV
We were looking for another TV to replace our old tube type TV that are still OK but don't give us the features and picture that today's TV's do. We actually have 3 other Samsung TV's from 65 inches down to 50 inches that have been outstanding with respect to quality and performance. We did a side by side comparison of other TV's in this size and found that the picture was much better. Yes it was $20 more than another that we were looking at but the picture quality far out weighted the price differential. Besides that, I didn't have to learn another remote control since it is the same as the other Samsung TV's that I have. Very pleased with the purchase. Don't like the stand with the legs on either side, prefer the center stand. Wish it had more HDMI ports. excellent tv for the money
I had samsung 43 inch tv and knocked it over destroying it, i enjoyed it very much so I went looking for a replacement by samsung. Although not the same model it is a 43 inch hd smart tv with basically all the same features. Great picture quality and easy to use an set-up. Only drawback is the positioning of the feet. Still love Samsung but TV could be tweaked
Bought both a 32" and a 50" UHD TV for my mom and I, pricing couldn't be better for the quality and sizes. The picture quality, size and price are perfect. The odd thing that occurred was, because the picture is so bright & clear with UHD/4k TV, when you watch horror movies they're too 'bright' or 'well lit' and no longer as scary, lol.
My other issue is the amount of HDMI and other slots as you need more, hence why I didnt give it a perfect score. The previous models had more hdmi/ USB slots than these. I ended up buying an hdmi splitter to plug in all my equipment, soundbar, multiple video game systems, etc.
Another issue we both had was when you first start using the TV, the remote were very wonky, not registering when pointed at the TV, very sensative when pressing the buttons so you would fly by the selection you were trying to make. They didnt work properly until after updating twice.
Sometimes there are connectivity issues. This used to happened during the first 2 weeks, but again, after updating it seems to have corrected itself. Otherwise, so far, both TVs are doing well.

Sound issues
Love the picture, etc. This set replaced a 40 inch Samsung after the screen went black.
Two issues:
Sound volume seems to change even while watching a show. There is a setting in the setup I believe that's supposed to prevent this, but it's never made a difference ON or Off.
Second issue, Samsung seems to have forgotten that there are those of us with impaired hearing. With the older set, it had an analog output which allowed the user to plug a headset RF transmitter allowing me to control the volume of what I'm watching without deafening my wife. Had I known this, I'd have looked for a set with the analog audio output. (this is why I down-rated it) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Lightweight Quality, Perfect Bedroom size
I bought this to replace a bedroom device. I wanted to go Samsung becuase of their quality, and I have a samsung phone which I wanted to integrate with.
Everything turned out very well. The quality of the display is amazing, and I'm extremely happy with the color and shading of the TV, it vibrant and black levels are really good.
The thing about this TV is that the newer 2018 TV software is on point, fast and covers pretty much everything from youtube, to HBO and on. The wireless networking is a breeze to setup and the quad cores in this thing make it snappy fast an responsive to input and moving around the gui.
Mounting is a breeze. I use a non-typical articulated arm mount, which can lay back against the wall if wanted, but I like to have it positioned in a way that I can control the tilt and other adjustments depending on where I've decided to be in the room. The incredibly light aspect of this TV is a huge benefit for those that want to have an articulated adjustable wall mount, or have control over its position away from the wall. I thought something was wrong when I got the delivery, because of how light it is!
IMHO, 4k UHD isn't necessary if you are hanging it on a wall on the other side of the room, or at least have the smaller TVs closer to you - your perception will not see those fine details unless you get the huge TV on your wall, or at least have a smaller one very close. There is a chart out there that recommends viewing distance for UHD and beyond displays, beyond that distance your eyes aren't really seeing what you paid for.
Summary: Absolutely no issues. Software and wireless connectivity are really snappy, fast and encompasses pretty much all the the streaming sites out there. The lightness of the TV makes mounting easy, and the the last reason - Quality: The screen is amazing and the color and how it handles shading is what I have come to expect from Samsung devices. I don't think you could go wrong unless you bought it but wanted UHD instead. Its a nice peice of technology and does 1920x1080 with ease.

Picture goes out & have to unplug & plug back
The unit is very light. It was easy to set up, the stand is not very sturdy. Even though the speaker is in the back the audio is good. The only problem is the picture does not display on an intermittent interval. I continually have to unplug the cord and plug back in for the picture to display. Annoying. I haven't had a chance to try any of the apps.

Not the Samsung Quality I expected
I thought this came with bluetooth but it doesn't, my bad. Since purchasing this TV 20 days ago, I've had a major problem and if it doesn't go away, I will take it back. About 3 or 4 times it has been nonresponsive. Either I attempt to adjust the volume and it will not or it will not power on. I correct the situation by unplugging it for a short time and it all works. It is not my remote as the cable remote programed for Samsung has the same problem. I'll give it a few more weeks before it goes back. To be fair, I haven't called tech support as what can they really do but I will before it goes back.

Great picture
I bought this TV for Christmas. I wanted a smart tv to connect wirelessly. Unfortunately the wireless is not very sensitive. Good features but I am not using them as I need to use a ROKU to make it work. Disappointed about that but the picture is good. Funny that the ROKU picks up the signal with no problem but the tv’s built in Wi-Fi receiver has so much trouble.

I placed the TV in my bedroom for viewing before bed and when I wake in the morning, so I use it on a limited daily basis, but I look forward to the years ahead

Great purchase
The setup was easy, no problem connecting to WiFi, picture clarity is great. I am really enjoying the TV. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the remote. The remote is not very responsive, the buttons seem cranky. Sometimes when I am trying to change channels, I press the channel up button and nothing happens. So, I press it again and the TV advances two channels instead of one. It's like it has issues communicating with the TV. Wish they would put out another improved remote for the TV

For the price this TV is good but IMO the picture is not as good as others say it is and the software is limited with respect to options available to adjust the picture. The wire network adapter does not support gigabit ethernet and the integration with your phone is limited unless both the phone and the tv are on the same wireless network, ie. tv cannot be wired with phone wireless. Samsung Smart HUB is ok but again not great.

Excellent tv for the bedroom or an apartment.
Perfect tv for our bedroom. Good size, great picture and sound, and the closed caption/ sub titles box behind the text makes reading it very easy. This tv would be my choice for anyone needing tv for an apartment, guest room, or even a garage.

Bright, sharp picture
Had an older 22" 720 Samsung, but wanted a larger 1080. Great TV. Would make the sleep feature simple like the older one as you have to program it if you want to set it in the middle of the night. Everything else is excellent.

design flaw..big one
Overall I am pleased, however my one complaint is the flimsy stand!! I wish Samsung would go back to the design with the stand in the center which was much sturdier.( model 330 )
I can rock the tv back and forth with very little effort and concerned my cat might knock the tv off the stand. (and I am not willing to bolt it to the wall with string as suggested in the owners manual)

We have an older Samsung, and admittedly a lower-tier smart TV that we have been using for several years oh, and we also recently installed the new Samsung TV in our living room. The picture is great as always, however the real star of the show is the embedded software. the embedded software is so fast for using Hulu Netflix and Amazon prime. They load up in seconds and work very well and are very stable. The software and CPU package is light years better than a few years ago. Good purchase. Great TV, with one frustrating problem...
I've had this TV for about a month now, and I'm pretty happy with it. The picture quality is great, although there are some adjustments that need to be made to eliminate some minor color bleed and from appearing somewhat washed out. The added capability for HDR is a really nice feature; games like Horizon: Zero Dawn look even more amazing than they did before.
This being my first Smart TV that I've owned, the ability to access most of my favorite video streaming websites, along with other exclusive channels through TV+, is pretty cool. However, as others have mentioned, the audio leaves much to be desired; my older, roughly 10 year-old HDTV had much better speakers.
Unfortunately, here's where my experience goes way south. We purchased two of these TVs for our household, and they both have the same problem; the TV randomly decides not to turn on. Whether using the remote or pressing the button on the TV itself, the red light flashes and responds, but...nothing. Only unplugging the TV and plugging it back in fixes the problem. I don't know if I will have to get a replacement or what, but it's a pretty ridiculous, very annoying issue to have. Other than that, I definitely recommend this model. Affordable price, lightweight, clear picture, grab this model if you're looking for a great mid-size FHD TV.

Desktop 32 inch is perfect fit for home office.
I was using an old Gateway monitor for in office TV watching and finally replaced it with a 32 inch Samsung HD. Now wall mounted the unit has been the perfect addition. Easily adapted connectivity, including fiberoptics to my sound system, have made the transition a sweet one. Setup of all of the options couldn't have been easier. I bought this TV less than 2 weeks ago for the bedroom because I already have another Samsung which has worked great. This TV however has intermittent response issues. It works for a few days with no issues and then it does not respond to the remote at all. The first time I could not power the TV on with the remote, and then I attempted to power it on via the TV on/off button, and there was no response. The light would flash on and off, but the TV would not power on, so I unplugged it for about a minute, and then all was well. Today it powered on, but then the TV would not respond when trying to do anything else with the remote. I tried going to the main menu, pressing the source button, and pressing the settings button to no avail. I could power off and on, but the remote responded to nothing else. Once again, I had to unplug it, and then the remote responded. I will be returning it to the store, because I should not have to be going through this on a brand new TV.

i bought this tv to replace a non smart tv due to get programing only available on a samsung product. i could not log into any of the apps, the email or password bar would not accept input either by remote or keyboard. spent almost an hour with support to no help at all. returned to store and bought another brand.

Great TV for the price. I would recommend this television to anyone in need of a new or additional TV for the home. It is easy to set up with a bright clear picture and sound.I wish it had a couple more features on the remote is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

Near Perfect for Me...
Like I said...near perfect. My only complaint is that I would have preferred that it came with a pedestal stand (like what Samsung used on older flat screens as opposed to the two little feet. I specifically wanted a TV that was NOT 4K. I'm on metered internet and wanted to keep my usage down, and be compatible with my older Roku device. This way I can still set the Roku to stream at 720. I'm perfectly happy with the picture on a screen this small.

just what i expected -- easy to set up
but the sound is very poor --
i did some research and found out that the poor sound is because this model is much thinner than my old one.
my 2008 samsung series 5 (not a smart tv) stopped working properly -- but the sound was much, much better --
so, i am a bit disappointed

Rather has an UNSMART Tv!
I should not have bothered wasting money on a smart tv. I stream or watch everything thru a browser which is much easier, faster, and smoother to control with my computer and tablet. Otherwise the quality if the image, as always with Samsung, is excellent. The Smart menu that continually pops up ever when I am always using my computer as the source is extremely annoying.

I bought a Vizio a couple years ago, and now this Samsung a month ago. It was as affordable as the Visio with a much better processor I believe. At least when I turn it on my Netflix loads up instantly instead of lagging with errors like the Vizio.

It's a decent TV, but not enough HDMI ports. I should've checked that. I needed 3, not 2. For the price, it's reasonable. The picture quality isn't as clear as I thought it would be, and I'll keep that in mind if I ever upgrade this one.

Great TV! Gets A Little Catch in its Git-Along...
I would have given this a 5, but I've had some small problems with it. Sometimes it hangs up, and needs to be rebooted.
To its credit, I am a power user - this poor TV is on 24-7. I'm pretty sick, and without this TV I'd be lost. 99% of the time it works awesomely. It's just those rare times when it freezes...and drives me batty. I believe it is because it never gets a rest - never!

While the picture is very nice, I am having a terrible time with the on/off switch. It would not power up on two separate occasions already, and had to be reset, then it would NOT shut off..had to unplug it to get it turned off.

Picture clear - sound bad
We bought this Smart TV last year as a gift for ourselves. The pictures are clear, the TV pulls more channels than the old TV (we don't subscribe to cable providers). That was a plus.
The sound system was terrible. We ended up buying an external sound system. That improved a lot.

my samsung n5300 television is just over a year old so out of warranty but has no picture. it has sound and seems to be working but you cant even troubleshoot woth no picture. the cost to repair will apprroach the cost of a new tv so im probably going to discard it and buy a different brand.

disappointed in the new tv. i replaced a 32” samsung tv which was the first issue as it failed. the new samsung did not fit the wall mount and it did not have the headphone jack that i used to use to operate my surround sound this required another $50 adapter.

Great picture but TV has a mind of its own
I have two other Samsung TV's that have been great, so I was excited to buy this unit for my bedroom TV. It was easy to set up and the picture was amazing. However, the sound was weak and the TV would turn itself off or cycle. I thought I was having cable problems and called my cable company for service. The tech checked everything and pointed back to the new TV. While he was there we couldn't get the TV to turn off. I returned it within three days of purchase and exchanged it for the same set, thinking I just got a lemon. I had the same problems with the new replacement. It would cycle or turn itself off. To get it to turn back on I would have to unplug it and plug it back in. Returned this and bought a new TV from a different manufacturer which has been excellent!

Good TV, audio fails and no service options
this tv is good but the audio gaps out every 20-30 minutes or so. the sound just stops for about 1-2 seconds. i know it is the tv because i had another samsung tv with the exact same set up and this did not happen. when i go to request service on the website it says there is no local service in my area. as a result, i give this tv 1 star because it does not work as it should and there is no way to get it fixed even though i bought it directly from samsung. everything else about the tv is good but without properly working sound it is not a good tv.

No manual off and on button. Need to power recycle
I had the same problem as others report. After about 3 weeks, incident where TV does not turn on, even though IR sensor is receiving signal from remote. TV does not have a manual on-off switch. Only recourse is to unplug tv from power and then plug back in. This works very well otherwise, great picture, sound, smart features.

The product has a flaw. I now have had two of these both have the same issue. The on function is terribly inconsistent whether using the remote or the manual switch. I read other reviews indicating unplugging the power cord to turn on and both of mine do the same thing. Not a good show Samsung

I am writing this on behalf of my friend. After several months of living with the TV not turning on and having to unplug it, she reached out to Samsung. Samsung directed her to a repair shop where she had to drop off her TV for a week. I had to loan her mine in the interim. She was pleased when it returned it was turning on but while I was picking up mine, she was unable to turn on the new one again. It took several tries. I'm not confident the problem is completely fixed. Ironically, I'm in the market for a 32 inch TV for my daughter and usually only buy Samsung, hence why I was on this site. After seeing multiple reviews reporting the same issue, I am going to find another brand. It's unfortunate they haven't done a recall on these TVs and continue to sell the model knowing there is a consistent problem throughout many of the TVs. It's one thing if a few TVs have an issue. It's poor business if it's happening a lot and not doing anything about it. Selling it at a cheaper price makes me even angrier!

Start up problems - works great now
When I brought the TV home, it had a perfect picture for about 2 minutes, then got dark. I originally thought I had set something up wrong, but after a few days called customer service. It turns out a couple of ambient light settings were wrong. The CS rep knew exactly what to do. I wish the initial settings wre set up properly. Failing that, I wish I could have found the solution in some of the settings write ups.

Three weeks of Satisfaction
The 32” N5300 has my bedroom television for three weeks. It’s my first smart TV and I love the streaming capabilities and SmartThings connection is a big plus. Picture quality is excellent, there is no noticeable lag. Contrast is perfect except in darken (no lights on) room conditions.

2 sets in 2 weeks. The first one the screen went out a week to the day with minimal viewing hours. I own several Samsung TVs and no issues so I thought it was a bed set and exchanged it. The 2nd one lasted 3 days with about 2 total hours of viewing before it decided it doesn’t want to turn on. DO NOT BUY THIS TV! I guess it’s time to move on to a different brand

Easy set up.
Certainly easy to set up. I'm not technically adept, so this was important. I bought this one to replace a 9 year old Samsung that would no longer support streaming. It sits in my sewing studio about desk height. When I am directly in front of it sitting down, the picture is great. But when I get up and move around the room, the picture changes dramatically. It becomes washed out and pale. I can't seem to find a setting that keeps the colors the same wherever you are in the room. The remote is different from my last one (it was old) and has dedicated buttons for Netflix and Prime Video. I guess the Smart TV button is replaced by the Settings button. I've been trying to find out how to add HBO Max and some other icons but so far can't figure it out. Can't say I'm ecstatic about this TV yet Maybe it will grow on me.

i bought this for my bedroom. the picture quality and sound are great. it's a great tv for watching for falling asleep or to stream something you really want to see. my only issue is with the remote control. since i watch this typically to fall asleep i use the sleep timer every night. my old tv had the sleep button right on the remote control. to get to the sleep timer on this tv i have to press the remote at least 10 times to get to that function. it has nothing to do with quality but it would be easier to use.

my tv has distorted sound. its too loud. when i was watchin it last night it was fine but tonight the sound was deafing. i turned the volume down to 1 and its still louder than preferred. definitely need to return.

Excellent Value
We purchased this unit to replace an old flat screen without smarttv technology. Its size, resolution and sound are more than adequate for bedroom viewing. The setup was a snap- it readily connected to
our wifi network & streaming apps installed without a hitch. The only drawback is that we still had to connect a firestick because Samsung does not support NBAtv. Otherwise we are extremely pleased with this buy.

I love it! The only thing I would change is to make the remote larger. Lots of buttons! Too easy to slip up and hit something to make you have to start over when you are entering information for an account. Would be great if it was backlit, too. Otherwise it's just the best: excellent clarity and picture, sound good enough to dispense with a sound bar, clean design.

love this tv which is wallmounted in my kitchen. the color is great and it has plenty of volume without needing any sound bar. it’s just the right size. since my house is cable free, i appreciate the live streaming samsung plus app already installed in the tv because it allows me watch live news, sports, and most of my favorite programming at no cost while i’m cooking.

We've had the tv about a month. Good picture quality. Good sound quality. Streaming apps are slow to load (we use Spectrum app for regular tv). Sound & picture seem to go out of sync periodically. TV always starts with the Samsung app which is annoying, I'd like to be able to set the default app on startup. I've had better Samsung products, don't know that I would purchase this one again.

No sleep timer…Disappointed!
I am very disappointed that this television does not have a sleep timer on it. I realize it will turn itself off automatically if there hasn’t been any activity by the viewer however that’s after four hours. I don’t see a way to get it to reduce that to an hour or two I’m very disappointed in that. I think that’s a waste of electricity and I would like my TV to put me to sleep at night, but not sit there and run and wake me back up again after a couple of hours, so yeah, I’m very disappointing. That’s why the low rating.

Bought this as I have two other Samsung tvs that I like. This is nothing like them. Problems having to restart and reconnect to wifi. Wanted to use it with my Spectrum and it’s a pain to do. Took me 28 minutes last night to resume the show I was watching downstairs when I went up to the bedroom.

Washed out picture/color-pretty bad for price/size
Our other TV (also a Samsung, and the same model) broke when my husband bumped it. I can only use a 32 inch in the space and I liked the other TV. I ordered the 'same' one. This is slightly different, but very similar. Easy set up, same features. HOWEVER, the picture and color on this one looks washed out and drained. I tried all the picture settings, and no setting gives me the same picture as my last TV. My LG is also better. I would not buy this again.

It sucks! I have 2 Samsung tvs in our vacation home in Europe and they are great. This one in the US just sucks. My direct tv stream app has no functionality. And that’s the reason why I bought this thing. The remote has different functions for every app. This is stupid!

Setup and audio issues
setup would not work through the smartthings app so had to setup through the remote. three days later there was a major audio problem with significanr loud distortion at the lowest volume level. reseting everthing coreccted this but had to use the remote to setup since the app again resulted in an error message. later that day we had almost no volume but unplugging and re-plugging the power cord corrected this. i hope these are not on-going problems. samsung is a premium priced product so i expected more.

Doesn’t play well with my Live TV App
This TV was on sale and it was highly rated. I bought it so we could cut the cable cord. It’s nice having a smart TV but this one doesn’t play well with YouTube TV App. This had been disappointing. No problems with the other apps. This is verified problem with the Samsung TV. I have to unplug it to get it working again properly. I have to do this too often.

Good TV for the price
This TV is like the one I previously had and I wanted one without all the fancy bells and whistles. This TV is it. The one downfall is screwing in the feet - as the screw hole is inset and you need good light to see what you are doing or have someone hold a flashlight so you can see the screw hole. Also, the setup app was unavailable for this 2018 model.

Average tv. No "sleep" button on remote. Picture is average.
Remote does have numbers for channel changing.
Screws for the tv feet are too long causing it to lean. Trip to Ace hardware fixed issue, shorter screws.
No way to open tv to particular app.

Pros and cons
pros: great remote with easy apps and a sleep button thats readily accessible. nice onscreen access to apps. smartcast is user friendly. great price.
cons: picture is just so-so and took manual adjusting to get it just right. it was just too small for my space. i should have known better. returned for a larger set

i've had a samsung tv for 17 years and it's been great. never had any problems so when i wanted a new smaller tv i thought i'd buy another samsung. the sound is inferior and the syncing is often delayed and i have to turn the tv off and on repeatedly. additionally, i can't plug in my headphones without having to purchase a converter. i do not own wireless headphones and i don't want an extra expense. the color on this tv is also disappointing. i've tried tweaking it and it just does not perform.

while huge televisions seem to be the rage, it's very difficult to find a small tv. i needed a tv to fit on the desk in my kitchen and found it very challenging to find one. i own a small samsung that i purchased years ago for my bathroom, but it's no longer available. that tv has been working perfectly for more than 15 years, so i knew samsung was a reliable brand. this 32" tv fits beautifully on my kitchen desk, the picture is great and so is the sound. once again, a samsung tv was a success!

If you need to connect using WiFi buy another TV
this tv has a great picture but if you need to connect via wifi do not waste your money. i am using it in my camper and need to connect to my hotspot on my phone because there is no cable. it took me an hour of going around in a circle before it finally recognized my phone, then when i turned this tv off and back on it was another hour to get it to connect again. i contacted support and they logged on to my tv live and after about an hour they got it to connect. but now i have to unplug the tv and plug it back in every time i want to get it to connect to the wifi

this is our 5'th samsung tv our 3'rd "smart" tv it has nice features the streaming works well. i have it hooked up via ethernet. i didn't bother trying wifi the reviews for the wifi were not good. have not had an issu with the internet options hard wired. we have this in our bed room it is just right for the size of the room. its on a wall mount. the feet if your going to put it on a stand feel cheap i am glad it's wall mounted. the sound is ok for the size of the tv. best thing is the price i got it off amazon. for the price it's a really nice unit!

i purchased this tv and when we opened it up it came with two left feet. i tried to get a right foot but did not have any luck with customer service. not happy. tv it self has a good picture and sound quality.

Great chrisp, clear picture
i got a new tv because my old one took about 15 trys to turn it on, different brand. i see some people are having turn on issues with their tvs, that are like mine, hope i don't have any turn on issues with mine. i wish it had one main leg in the middle at the bottom instead of two, one on each end. otherwise all working well at this point, like the chrisp picture, 2 weeks old.

i purchased in store from best buy over the 4thof july weekend. the salesperson was very nice and knew the product. the only issue we had was our fios cable box and the samsung remote were not compatable, in that after shutting down the tv it would turn itself back on. a tech from best buy gave us a code to solve the problem.

2nd spare for a spare from amazon looks new like from 1st tv,no troubles as of yet fra 1st set. i dont use for gaming,though for bedroom thru stb box/wi-fi. 0 audio outputs in back for bluetooth, only toslink audio output.
uses 2 hdmi input ports and 1 2.0usb output.

i have 3 of these televisions - one is being used as a computer monitor, one for a home office and the third in a guest bedroom! great picture, the sound could use boosting - but is adequate sound for a home office, bedroom or computer monitor. i wouldn't suggest this for a large living room. i absolutely loved the ease of setting up and using these 32" sets.

worst tv on the market. having been the engineering side of tv and related products for 25 years, i thought samsung would have improved by now, but no dice.
tv would not scan for "over the air" signals when ethernet cable was plugged in. menu system has gone from bad to really bad.
samsung can make monitors. not tvs.

i've had this tv for a few weeks and overall i'm very pleased with it. the picture is beautiful and the sound through the tv speakers is good.
i use an antenna and i love the guide feature so i can see what's playing on all of my scanned channels, this feature does not work on my lg tv. my only complaint about the samsung is that it does not have manual tuning which is so useful when you are using an antenna, the lg tv has manual tuning. almost making up for lack of manual tuning is the ease of receiving free samsung tv plus programming which i intend to use when antenna reception is poor. the samsung app is pre-loaded and within a few minutes of setting up the tv i had access to the many channels offered by the samsung tv plus service.

Cost efficent...but not practical
purchased the samsung 32" class n5300 on jan. 16th 2022. it's jan. 30th 2022 and i gave in...have to return this item. 1) the av sync does not work. no matter what i try, i just can't get the audio and video to sync. 2) the tv stand is not a sensible design...tv falls forward each time i walk past it. 3) the remote control....my fingers press everything else but the settings button
while i appreciate the cost and the picture output, there are too many negatives for the price. will shop around for another device.

this is a replacement for my old 27.5 inch tube tv. has all t he features i was looking for. great resolution and colors. i needed the two hdmi ports and the av ports so it worked perfectly for me. other tv options based on roku had a roku remote that has severe limitations on channel selection function. remote provided is very functional. i would recommend this tv even though it is an older model.

my samsung n5300 tv is just over 2 years old and out of warranty but has no picture, black screen. it has sound and all seems to be working but you can't troubleshoot with no picture. not happy about this failure. the cost to repair will likely be the cost of a new tv so i went to bestbuy tonight and bought another one of the same model which is working great. i hope this one lasts longer because i really like the features and picture

Functional but...
The TV mostly does the job, but every few weeks when I turn it on, the volume shoots sky high and the sound is garbled. I have to turn the TV and Direct TV off and on again to get normal sound. In addition, the picture is not particularly crisp. I expected more from a Samsung as my last Samsung TV was super clear and never experienced any issues until the end of its life.

Nice color, sound not so great. Have to unplug the tv every other day because it has a problem remembering the Wi-Fi. Sent tv in for repair when I first purchased and Samsung says they made a network replacement. Still does the exact same thing. And SmartThings is just as sad.

Nice TV with good picture, but...
Needed a new 32" TV for a room in the house. Wanted a TV with better electronics than Roku, TLC, Sharp. Narrowed it down to Samsung and LG. I have other Samsung TVs (some are smart models). The picture is very good on the TV. The remote and processor speed are much better than the Sharp I had before. For example when you select Netflix or another streaming app, it starts up quickly. Sound from any flat screen is fair at best. What I don't like is that when I set it up it wanted to update immediately, which when it did, basically made the TV lock up. I called Samsung support for assistance. Had to use an USB stick to force an update. This did resolve the issue, but it took multiple tries. You should be able to remove ANY of the apps that come with the TV, but you can't. When you power on the TV it should remember that last streaming app you were using and start it up, but it always goes to antenna. The interface is also outdated. I am hoping with ongoing updates to the TV that it doesn't slow down like the Sharp TV did.

Great TV--but remote has limitations
The TV itself is of great quality. Audio and video solid. I struggle with aspects of the remote control design--the lack of a "sleep" button drives me crazy (there is a sleep timer, but it's about 5 menus deep in the settings). Other things on the remote aren't intuitive and could be more streaming-friendly, but overall I'm pleased with the combination of quality and price point.

It's a mixed bag!
It's a mixed bag. The picture is great. However, getting YouTube TV set up was painful; Samsung kept trying to set up a new account for us rather than linking us to our current account. Using the new remote is more complicated than I'm used to.

Run away from this TV.
I hate this TV so much. It's slow, it's clunky, it requires constant cold restarts. I've never had such a finicky, needy TV. At least once per week, sometimes more than once per day, I have to cut power to the TV, let it sit for a minute, and then start it back up. This is absolutely the last Samsung TV I will buy. I've been burned twice now by two different Samsung TVs. Lesson learned.

seems fine to me. i did have a problem with it not accepting my password after i had shut off the samsung tv plus feature, so there were headaches getting back on. had to change the password, went in via google, etc.

Works ok but the sound acts up every now and then. On day 3 it sounded super loud and messed up. I ended up resetting the whole tv to fix it but it did fix it. Now every now and then the sound acts up and I have to reset the tv and it does fix it. Unfortunately it's a bit of a pain to re-log in on everything to get it all working but it can be done. Sound and picture normally is fine by me!

The pixels on the TV have gone bad. The top have of the picture is darker than the bottom half. I will say it still works but pretty disappointing for less than a year old.

Picture is excelent. sound is so so. the remote controller is terrible. The previous channel button does nothing. I also have another Samsung controller whicih I tried and it also does nothing on the previous channel buttom. i have Spectrum as a provider, there is no way to access "My Library" from the remote controller without closing the Spectrum App, res-starting the Spectrum App

No needed documentation
This TV does not have adequate documentation. I'm 85 years old, but I grew up with computers. So I was able to figure out how to use NetFlix. The average person my age and even younger would not have been able to do so. Samsung needs to supply the user with step-by-step instructions for using all of the features of this TV. It is irresponsible not to do so!

tv is well made. video and audio is good. not the best you can buy, but certainly in line for higher end models in this size and price range. not a big fan of the remote. wish they only used the same remotes that come in the larger/higher end series.

There is nothing smart about this Samsung TV. This is my third Samsung. We have one in the living room, in the den and now bedroom. This was the hardest to set up. Took over 6 hours to get it to work. So disappointed.

I bought this TV for my sister who is in a board and care. This TV is not as user friendly as I anticipated. Trying to find instructions regarding adding apps was difficult and I still haven't figured out how to delete them. We tried to sync Bose wireless noise canceling headphones without success. The picture quality is great.

21st Century - NO SLEEP TIMER - Who knew???
very disappointed, tv pic is great as usual for Samsung however I bought it for my bedroom, (NO SLEEP TIMER) THAT SEEMS RIIDICULOUS IN THIS DAY AND TIME! Now I have to go back and find another tv or my bedroom (shop again) grrrrrrrrrr. Who knew they still made them without sleep timers in the 21st century but I also realized when I began reading the paperwork this tv is actually two years old, I want a newer tv, I mean I just bought it 2 weeks ago.

I need a smaller TV for my gaming and it’s better than the monitor I have which is not a Samsung, Samsung is always the best when it comes to TVs or monitors this one is pretty good. It is an older model, but it’s still pretty good.

Not pleased to read about other's having problems.
I had my last Samsung TV, for 10 years before the screen went black. It was a little smaller then the 32" I just bought less then a month ago. The 32" is Full HD and so far it looks great. I had some problems getting it functioning after mounting it to the wall. Call Samsung and after an hour and a half on the phone finally got it working. The remote control buttons are way to small and my fingers tips are big. I keep missing the button I was told by the tech to press. Being on the phone and holding the remote control and looking at the TV screen at the same time for an hour and a half was enough to drive me nuts. Please Samsung make the remote and the buttons bigger. Other than that, I'm happy now.

Not bad but had a problem with the sound on day 2
It works ok so far but on day 2 with it the sound for some reason sounded like the old Sensurround system in theaters and it rumbled badly even with the volume at 1. I reset the entire tv and that so far has done the trick and the sound and everything works ok with it so far. I'm happy with it as long as it keeps working fine!

Get more than you expect!!
At this price, it delivers much more than expected. The dreaded initial set-up was a breeze, so unlike many electronics these days. The picture quality is outstanding and with a rather dubious antenna picked up all the local stations nicely. I can highly recommend this gem.

Easy to set up. Only tricky thing was the buttons on the remote. They are very small/close together so kept messing up typing in wifi password bc I kept backing out of the screen but after a few uses there’s no problem using the remote. Super clear picture n great sound.

Power supply failed -- seems to be a common issue
all that's left is a red light blinking in a pattern and a manual with troubleshooting instructions that are utterly useless. check the reviews. this is an endemic problem that samsung is ignoring.

Most complex setup of any TV I have ever purchased. Took it back same day. If I would have kept it I would have ended up throwing something through the screen. There was nothing intuitive when navigating the menus. Didn't even bother to try to get rid of unused icons for Hulu, AppleTV, HBO Max, etc. that I don't subscribe to. If it's even possible. Purchased a Roku based TV and it's very easy to add or subscription services that I do subscribe t0 like Paramont+, Peacock, or FuboTV.

Great picture but no Bluetooth
Picture is great and it's the perfect size for a bedroom. Only disappointment I have is it doesn't have Bluetooth to connect a sound bar so I have to use the optical cable. I just assumed it had Bluetooth and didn't even check so it my fault.

Terrible remote
Bought 3 of these a few months ago for me and also as gifts. I really hate the remote. Seems like a stupid thing to complain about, but there are so many unnecessary buttons and it doesn’t light up so you can’t see what you’re doing if the room is dark. Most smart tvs I’ve used are simple and easy to use, but this one feels like a hotel tv. It definitely works, but I wouldn’t buy again.

Piece of crap!
Bought this TV to replace an older Samsung that would no longer support Hulu. When I tried to down load Hulu, it didn’t work. Screen would go blank and not load. Tried a few times and took it back for a refund. I was assured that this newer TC would support Hulu. Extremely disappointed.

Great Pic Quality, But Very Stressful To Navigate
First of all, I had a difficult time placing on the legs because it required a tiny phillips screwdriver.
Then I couldn't use the TV until I registered with Samsung. requiring an email and a password. WHen I turned on the TV is asked me for my email and password. If I made a typo, I had to re-enter all the information again.
The remote had no light so I had to turn on a light to view the controls. It is difficult to usethe features on the remote. If I knew how much stress it would cause to operate this TV, I wouldn not have purchased it.

i needed a 32"to fit in my tv cabinet. i wish i had read the reviews prior to purchase. the smart tv is too complicated with the remote control, the screen goes black which i found out is a common problem apparently. have to unplug let it rest and plug it back in. unable to disable certain apps like the rap music that always comes on first. tried following directions on youtube videos for corrections but they don't always apply to this model. i end up watching streaming programs on my laptop much easier than this tv.

Very poor sound quality
First, it 5 years old and only 32” should not be $200 plus , 2ndly, the sound is minimal at best, in order to hear it I have to increase volume to 100 ( the highest it will go) and even then standing directly over the speakers, sounds like a whisper. The picture quality seems average in comparison to other TV’s. I consider myself a loyal samsung consumer. This has been a very disappointing experience. Im sending it back for a refund today. I’ve had it for a week….

Couldn't use false advertising
Bought to get spectrum. App is there can't download no room. Can't delete preloaded apps. False advertising.
It is spectrum compatibility. Told to but more

So many Samsung products,maybe not the next time
Bought it a few months ago for break room at work,not like it gets many hours of use. Already had it go so dark on its own and sounded so muffled I had to do a factory reset. Sound is back but picture still too dark with all settings cranked up.

Great bargain!
Great bargain! Beautiful picture. Easy set up. Google interface and Works with Alexa too. Effortlessly recognizes cable box and DVD drive. Very happy.
