The directions provided by Sony insisted I take the 77" OLED tv off the wall prior to the service person arriving. When the technician arrived, he replaced the power circuit board on the power box which took 10 mins. I was very disappointed to learn the tv never had to be taken down to service the TV and only the power box needed to be removed. The service technician was excellent and very professional.

They're well made dependable products & this is out first using the 'Android" programming setup. However there are way too many features that make this unit a pain to figure out. First & foremost, get rid of that tiny useless remote. If you insist on keeping it as least make it back lit. I went out & bought a great remote fro TERK that works perfectly. Took literally 3 minutes to program. I HATE the splash screen when you turn the TV on. I have to scroll thru to get to the app that connects to my cable provider. I don't want to jump thru hoops. I also don't like the proprietary Samsung TV stations that show endless, upon endless movies & the same TV shows. All of this nonsense just encourages me NOT to buy another Samsung. For the record I gave a 2 star rating because of all this programming nonsense . Oh & did I mention I also purchased a Samsung sound bar & while it sounds great, it constantly disconnects.

I have stayed away from Samsung for 10 years due to poor warranty service on multiple products but I bought this TV for my RV because it was super thin and fit exactly where I needed it. It was a pleasant surprise in most ways, the free movies and SamsungTVPlus is awesome, but you need to have it connected to the internet and I can’t figure out how to use just an antenna. The remote is solar but you can charge it with USB-C if needed.

However, we’re very frustrated with the pop-up ads from Samsung, the busyness of so many options on the screen, needing to go to apps to get the Fubo icon, challenge of switching closed captioning off/on, and the set up of the remote. We are seriously considering replacing the TV with a different brand. Which should be an unnecessary expense.

We were passed from one customer service representative to another with each telling us something different and some it was obvious that they did not want to do their job. Other than that we finally got a replacement TV after a month. Should not have taken that long. We did everything that was ask more than once and supplying pictures more than once. Ridiculous! We have 10 Samsung TVs. Would've expected better and speeder service for a TV that was less than a year old. We Understand that model TV has had same issues that we did. Should've been a recall. It cost us almost $1000 to have it replaced. We're not with the service.

The sound is good for the size. We have 32 inch Tv's in all of the bedrooms, and as they start to go I will be replacing them with this brand and model. They are not huge Tv's, but they have excellent pictures, which are very crisp and clear for the size that they are.

I’m still using it and am happy with it. An older non-smart tv died so I bought this Samsung. So far so good. Setting it up since I already had a Samsung acct was easy. My only complaint is that the remote is so small. I’m 72. It is much harder to use this remote than the one on my older Samsung which is larger and has more button choices to use. Also not getting a paper manual is a pain in the neck. Not everyone wants to go online to find info. I like a paper booklet so I can write notes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV! My first smart TV. Set up instructions and connections to apps were fairly straightforward. Took me about 2 hours to set up and figure out how the TV works. My old TV is a 13 year old Samsung that has a beautiful picture but is not a smart TV. Bought this one to get away from cable TV. The picture on this TV lives up to high Samsung standards. With the screen size, It's almost like being in a movie theater. The sound is better than my older model but I may end up adding a sound bar for stereo and surround sound. I would highly recommend any Samsung product.

Any time there is a mostly black screen there is a light ghosting is certain areas of the screen. The installation of the wall mout was majorly problematic. The 200mm x 200mm VERSA measurement was accurate on the mount and where the female threads were on the back of the TV……HOWEVER the holes in the plastic frame were off a few millimeters. So much so that the 8mm fasteners would not catch the female threads on the TV. It was not an easy install as it should have been if the holes had been put in tje frame accurately!!!

We like the Samsung TV plus and the easy ability to stream as we have cut the cord. I liked the way the first Samsung home screen was set up with just the apps and it coming up to Samsung plus tv when turned on. I would hope I can set the 43" up like that but have not figured out how to do that yet, hopefully that can be done? I would recommend the Samsung product as they have worked well to this date.

The other thing is, we are use to our Q80 QLED menu.. Not a fan on this one but it is doable, just need to get use to it I suppose. It's really not a fair comparison because the advances in technology made the Crystal UHD DU8000 picture almost jump out of the screen. There are guidelines on what size is optimal for viewing, and the 43" was perfect for my room. Easy to set up by myself as well.

My son hung it on the wall with no problem and he also did all th e settings for me. It is beautiful. It almost looks like the people are sitting right here in my living room. My son liked my tv so well, he bought one for himself

The picture quality on the DU8000 is exceptional, with enhanced color accuracy and deeper contrasts that make dark scenes more immersive and bright scenes more vibrant. Whether watching movies or streaming shows, the visual experience is top-notch. The sound quality has also significantly improved, especially when paired with my Samsung HW-Q600A sound bar. The audio is richer and more dynamic, providing a surround sound experience that truly enhances the overall viewing experience. The difference compared to my old setup is night and day. Additionally, the DU8000 features a slim and modern design that fits seamlessly into my living space. The menu speeds are noticeably faster, making navigation and accessing apps a breeze. It had lots of features and seamless functionality with all the apps in one place. One of the reasons we purchased it was for the Game mode when playing on our brand new (purchased at this same time as this TV) X Box series S. After about 10 days of use the display was noticeably darker than before even at max brightness output. The game mode seemed to fix the issue for a while but then the screen started flickering. Everything that was being displayed through the Game setting would lightly flash in and out. A factory reset seemed to fix this for a while but not something I want to have to do regularly and especially after only10 days. This step requires you to redownload and re-enter all the passwords for all your apps. We have returned this TV and purchased a Sony 120 Hertz TV as a replacement.

Watching the tech work through the process prompts and syncing my sound bar to the TV remote made me realize that I would have been hard pressed to do it myself.

The first time we rebooted the remote and TV. It worked correctly for a short time. The next day customer service disabled the Auto on feature but sadly it didn’t work correctly for more than 1 day. The day after the repair I couldn’t get it to turn on. After several attempts it did turn on but then it wouldn’t turn off AGAIN.

The colors are bright and the black is truly black. The apps are easy to use and very convenient. We are full-time RVers and the 43" is perfect for us. I mounted it on a lift behind our living area couch. Whether streaming, cable, satellite or OTA .... everything looks absolutely great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV, great picture, GREAT customer service My previous Samsung smart TV needed replacement, I replaced it with this next generation of the same TV. For our needs 43" fits the space perfectly. I bought another Samsung for two reasons: First, in all the research I did Samsung is among the really good brands. Mine had an issue, but it was older and it was high quality. Customer service: I called customer service because I wanted to be sure that my old TV really needed replaced. I had done everything suggested on the web to be sure. When I called customer support I was informed it would be a wait. It was. About 60 seconds! (wow) The person I spoke with listened well. Was easy for me to understand. I understood him, he understood me. (Compared to other help numbers I have called this is wonderful.) I hung up feeling like I talked with a person who knew what they were talking about, helpful, and availed. Wow! Great customer service is rare. It won my loyality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Somewhat Confusing - Low on Operating Info Overall I'm pleased with the tv but it's sometimes hard to navigate between Samsung stuff and my Fire TV. I'm still a bit baffled when I accidently hit a button and I can't get back to where I was. It comes with no instruction manual whatsoever and that would certainly be very helpful. It's also a bit annoying to have to use two different controls - especially concerning the volume (which can be tricky). I would suggest creating and including a comprehensive manual re the Samsung part of the TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV review The TV is OK. I do not love it. It’s hard to flip between Verizon cable and the regular apps on the TV. The volume does not get very loud the remote turns on the TV easily when it’s bumped.

I am able to access any apps like netflix and prime, it has its own channels for comedy, old tv shows, westerns, mysteries and more. I was so tired of xfinity and took it off my tv bc i was able to use samsung channels

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not too impressed Like my new 32 & 55 inch, I think the remote is a pain to use. I miss having number buttons. Not very responsive to the internet, slow to switch inputs. My signal is plenty strong and my condo is small.
