Loving the 6400 but I have a few minor complaints
I bought the Sony Alpha 6400 with the 16-50mm lens. It is very portable, super light, fits in my pockets and does ALMOST everything I want it to do. It has THE MOST AMAZING, BEST IN THE WORLD AUTO FOCUS! Very clear, pretty shots (you will need better lenses later on, as the 16-50mm kit lens is not very good in low light situations), the 4K and 1080p video options are awesome. This Alpha 6400 does NOT have in body stabilization, so buy a gimbal or use Sony OSS lenses to help with hand held video recording or else your videos will be shaky. I also wish I could articulate the built in flash to stay in one position like facing up to bounce the flash light off the ceiling, I can use my finger to pull it back and up but if my finger covers the EVF (electronic view finder), the EVF will kick in and I cannot see my shot on the touchscreen anymore.
I am sad I have to buy a cage to fit an external microphone a few slots over because placing anything on the hot shoe will block the video screen that flips up for selfies. Sony definitely needs to address this issue on the next camera so that the video screen flips out like with the Canon and Panasonic cameras, but I can live with a small rig cage accessory on my camera when I go vlogging with this. Also, I would like USB-C instead of micro-USB, no real excuse not to include USB-C in 2019. I am very excited to have this camera with me. Good job, Sony!

No manual
I have lost count of how many Sony consumer products I have owned going back to the Walkman. I was always extremely satisfied. And then I purchased tis camera. Bottem line is I will probably never use it for anything more than a point and shoot since it does not come with a manual. That's right, $1000.00 and you need to buy a tablet or stay at home in front of your computer.
I was annoyed with the purchase before I received it since B&H failed to ship it overnight as promised.
I guess we are living in a world of diminished service.

Wish I had the 6600
This is my first interchangeable lens camera and I bought it 5 weeks ago alongside the 70-350mm G OSS super-telephoto lens (SEL70350G). There are two things I wish I knew when I bought this camera: (1) There's almost always noticeable blur in my shots. On a tripod and with a wireless remote or a 2-second delay, I can get stunningly gorgeous shots, but that’s about it. Because I am brand new to taking photos, I didn’t realize that I would love photography as much as I do! Now, I deeply regret not getting a camera with in-body image stabilization (ibis), such as on the 6600. I want to shoot hand-held without the 6400's blur and I want access to a wider-range of lenses--namely, those that don't have Optical SteadyShot (OSS) which helps compensate a bit for the lack of ibis in the camera body. (2) Because I only own slower lenses and often shoot at dusk at 350mm and thus F6.3, virtually all my images must be at high iso's are thus grainy and noisy. In bright light the noise is fine, but I am often frustrated with my image quality. In summary, now that I want more form my equipment, specifically a body with ibis and faster (lower f-stop) lenses which may not come with OSS, such as the 16-55mm F2.8 (SEL1655G), I feel stuck with a sub-par product in the 6400 that limits how much more I can pursue my new-found passion for photography. Hopefully, I can sell this 6400 for a decent price and invest in a 6600 and faster lenses (even those that lack OSS). It is my own fault, but I'm still frustrated that Sony doesn't do a better job of communicating that you'll always want either ibis or OSS at all times. I wish I wasn’t past the 30-day return window, or I’d return this camera.

Amazing Camera
I haven't bought a camera in years due to using my cell phone for all my pictures. Now that I bought this Camera, I found that I have been missing out. No regrets here!
I definately will be using my camera more than my cell phone. You quickly find out the limits of the cell phone when you use a the Sony A6400.
