Great TV in every way. Bad remote control
I bought this a few weeks ago. I researched heavily and the TV is everything I expected. However, the remote control is not bac klit. You have to turn on a light to use it. This is shameful. Sony has the same exact remote but back lit on its OLED models and the ones sold at Costco. I had to purchase it later.

I bought it a month ago, everything about the tv is very cool, nice picture, colors etc… the only thing i don’t like is the remote, the design it self and it could have the laser optical pointer like LG and Samsung tv has. That’s the only thing otherwise the tv is self is absolutely nice, love Sony!

Fantastic device, needs more 2.1 inputs
I originally purchased an x90J, several warranty claims later I ended up at the x90L. It is a decided improvement across the board. The local dimming is greatly improved and has made the largest impact with the added dimming.zones. There is a lot to like but 1/2 of the 2.1 HDMI ports is used for arc, leaving you with 1. With the price of these sets, we should have at least 1 more. 4 stars, only for the annoyance

Love it.....except the blown out green pixel!!
How do you get a pixel fixed under warranty??, I don't think you can.
Takes 2+ hours to unbox and properly mount on your wall.
It's a huge tv. Just getting it unboxed it a chore.
You finally unbox it, mount it....just to turn it on to have a burned out green pixel smack in the center of the TV.
It's always there. Especially when you are watching something that has a darker screen.
It's driving me insane!?!?!
Hey Sony, what do I do about this??
I just paid a ton of money for this TV that I love and hate because of a factory flaw.

The best description I can give this TV. It is a 75" TV X90L. I had the TV on and the sound off. I was in the kitchen at the sink, and at a glance, I saw a stranger walking in the living room. My heart jumped.... and then I realized it was the TV!

I bought this only after several online comparisons reviews. I also went and visually looked at the Sony along side other qled and alike brands.
I had my son come and look, for the picture quality the Sony won out, even tho my son is loyal to another high brand television. Also my wife lovessss it.

Lack of support, VERY disappointing
It’s very disappointing that Sony will not support its people when they purchase their products. My 4K HDR Apple TV will only go to an SDR format. No one at Sony can tell me what the problem is. It is all over the Internet. Nobody is Sony Will help. This Sony Bravia is a top-of-the-line, absolutely ridiculous.

I love this TV. The journey to get it was not so great. First TV took almost a month and was delivered damaged. After fighting with Walmart a new TV was shipped and also delivered damaged. 2 months later and a 3rd TV I finally have a working TV. Walmarts shipping practices really shine badly on Sony and should seriously be looked into. I finally had to email the CEO and other executives to finally get satisfaction. It was not an easy process and came really close to costing Sony a sell. I still will never ever order another electronic of this nature from Walmart. Sony should really check out the Walmart reviews on this TV and the 2022. Many unhappy customers dealing with the same issue I had and even though Sony wasn’t involved in the shipping it still shines back on Sony. Walmart has cost Sony a lot of sales and seriously needs to be investigated. I have way too many photos to add but would be happy to email them to someone.

Got the 75” X90L in open box sale at half price from Best Buy and couldn’t be happier. The picture is fantastic and by processing is unmatched. Would recommend the tv in a heartbeat.

Out performing its price tag
I've only had this tv since January 18th so I can't speak on its longevity but so far it's been great for the most part. The upscaling is better than any other tv I've ever used. The only issue I have is I cannot get the bluetooth to work. The tv will find my headphones it just won't connect to them. I've tried with two different sets, hopefully it's just the brand I have.

Tv has a great picture and is good with the Sony soundboard and sub but the tv starts flickering dark for no particular reason at no particular time.
Waiting to see if it totally goes since it does not do it all the time.
Connections are good so I do notbknow what it is.

No Manuel. Are you kidding me?
I’m in my sixties and like to have instructions and owners manuals. I spend over $1,500 for a television and it gives you quick set up guide. I don’t use Google. This television is wonderful and is packed with settings and options that I don’t understand and can’t use. If you are going to make a tv with a suggested retail of $2,000 wouldn’t you spend a couple of bucks to give us a manuel on how to use their wonderful piece of equipment? Why should I have to dig around on the internet to try and figure it out? I can’t rate the features because I don’t know how to use them. Hard to rate performance as I don’t know what all it can do or how to use the different settings. Ease of use is good except, I don’t know how to use it, Manuel not included. Tired of trying to watch YouTube videos about the wonderful television.

Christmas present for my wife
My wife’s says this TV is awesome. I am so glad that I bought it for her as a surprise Christmas present. She is still in awe over the picture. I don’t watch much football, but she says the helmets just glow and it feels like we are at the game.

Can’t beat sony
I bought it a few months ago and it has been in the box until recently. I absolutely love it, the colours and contrasts are so are great, it’s like being at the cinema! I have a Sony tv that I bought almost 20 years ago and I still use it in my bedroom it has never needed a repair, I will only ever buy Sony tvs for myself I swear by the brand, it has everything I need on it, a very happy customer!

Keeps Hanging
I bought my X90L 75 inch 10 days, the screen quality is great and features are also great as I love Sony items.
My TV starting Hanging from 4 days now and I have to switch off and on after 10 seconds from main switch 2-3 times a day. When tv hangs I can’t able to use remote as screen freezes and tv is slowed since this started happening.

Disappointed with Sony
I purchased a Sony XR75X90L on July 1 2024. I purchased a Sony because They have always been a symbol of quality and although you pay a bit more to me it was going to be worth it because it's a SONY. Let me tell you, I am very disappointed with Sony.The TV has a beautiful picture but I have had a lot of problems. First off, About once a week I turn it on and am greeted by a GREEN screen and I have to restart the TV so I can watch it.Yes, the connections are all correct and the TV is updated but I still get the green screen. Also I connected a SONY soundbar to the TV and the TV constantly switches the sound output from Audio to TV speakers so I have to go in to settings and change it back to external audio so my soundbar is used. Yes, the settings and connections are done correctly. I see on Sony forums that this problem has been an ongoing problem with the Sony Bravia TV's.I probably should have returned the TV for a refund and purchased a different one but I think it is to late now.What happened to that famous Sony quality that you could alway's count on? I am very disappointed with Sony. Feel free to contact me if you care to make it right and restore my confidence in Sony TV's

Great T.V. Epic service.
I contacted Sony customer support after my previous set developed a fault. After jumping through a few hoops, providing images of the problem, the original television was upgraded to the later version with even more features than before. The image quality is superiour also. Couldn't be more pleased with the result and product.

Stunning Picture
I got this Sony as a replacement for a damaged Sony so safe to say I’m already a convert. This TV has an excellent picture in all conditions but is stunning when presenting UHD. Sound is pretty good as well here but I’m adding a soundbar. Easy to use and set up is simple. Plenty of connections leaving options galore. Love it all.

DO NOT buy from Sony direct
Do not buy from Sony direct, extremely bad experience as a consumer. Received TV with cracked screen, took nearly 2 weeks for them to investigate and confirm that it was damaged during transit and this is with me providing pictures of the damaged box on receipt (ripped and smashed up on the side where screen would be). Would not provide a replacement until damaged TV was collected which took a week. TV has been collected for a week and was just informed by customer advisor (call centre from India, and they never provide updates, you have to initiative any follow ups) that it would take up to 14 working days for their warehouse to receive the TV back, and no replacement is on order until all that is done.
Such a joke. Bought elsewhere, great product but customer service none existent. Avoid buying direct like a plague.

Screen has dark spots
I got it in November and the screen looks horrible like greasy splotches on the inside I called customer service just to get yelled at that it's dust. I have Three other Sony TVs that have been in that same place and none of them look like that. I have one from 2016 that's moved around houses twice and it doesn't look like that. It's like the back lights are going out. I don't know the support team just keeps yelling at me without any resolution and when I try to tell the support team they just keep ignoring the problem $2,000 down the drain Even told them there's a hair inside the panel

Compared this model side by side with other manufacturers. Best picture of the lot by far. The only better picture quality was the OLED models but they are twice this price and not twice as good! Excellent value for money. Loads of features and connections.

Died 11 months after purchase
I loved this TV for 11 months. I Bought it exclusively to play with my PS5, then one day, (the day after COD 6 released) it lost all function, 11 months after purchase. All I get is a solid red light or a solid yellow light with no input accepted from the unit. I am currently awaiting the Sony repair/warranty claims acknowledgment and resolution of the issue.

The Sony brand never disappoints
After much research and a lot of back-and-forth, I decided to stick with a proven performer. I purchased the Sony X 90L 75" TV. For me, the difference maker was the full integration with Amazon voice-enabled products. Sony's long history of manufacturing TVs with unsurpassed color reproduction. Finally, the long list of recommendations from both the end-user, as well as professional audio video firms convince me that this mid-price TV was at the top of everyone's list. I also paired my purchase with the Sony Bravia Cam. Providing even more features that will improve my
enjoyment of this TV.

My Review for My New Sony X90L
Well, I finally wanted to upgrade from a plain 55" standard UHD TV. I have other Sony TV's and I like them a lot. That's why I decided to stick with Sony. I've read so many reviews on this TV and every one of them were just saying how great this TV is, so I just had to check it out. So anyway, I initially wanted an OLED TV. This TV is a full array display TV. I really couldn't tell the difference between the OLED screen and the this TV's full array display screen. I've had it now for a couple of weeks, and I am enjoying it. a lot.

Died exactly a year after puechase
The tv died exactly a year (11 months) after purchase. The tv doesn’t turn on, the power light blinks 5 times which indicates a motherboard issue. It’s been a week since the tv died, the motherboard was shipped home but nobody has contacted for a service yet. Very disappointing and I am not going to buy any Sony products in the future.
