works well with APS-C, bad vignetting @ wide angel
flash works well on aps-c bodies, thanks to the small form-factor, however at focal lengths of 20mm or lower, you can see a lot of vingetting where the flash just doesn't cover the whole sensor

Great little flasgun
Having bought 3rd party flashguns in the past I decided to try a Sony flash with my Rx10 IV. The flash is very lightweight, portable and quite powerful for its size. I have it works very well with the rx10 and exposure seems far better than other flashguns I have used. The only disappointment is the head doesn't swivel.

I have had this for a few weeks and have used as a bounce flash indoors and direct (fill) flash outdoors. It is powerful for it s size and produces nice results. It slips onto my A7C hot shoe without much effort however it is a very tight fit on my A7IV which is strange. I have read that it is a common issue on both the A1 and A7IV. It works fine once pushed home but be careful not to break it!
