Mounting holes are 17" apart on center - NOT 16"
I bought this 1U unit from this vendor (on Amazon) and the mounting holes were NOT 16" apart on center - they were 17". At that distance the screws would only grab the very edge of each stud, resulting in a fairly precarious mount into a stud edge that could splinter. And that is if you can see the studs. If y
