Know your gear
This 2-port HDMI splitter lets you connect your HDMI video source to two HDMI displays, with support for Ultra HD resolutions and HDR (High Dynamic Range) as well as 7.1 surround sound audio. Supports True 4K at 60Hz This 2 way HDMI splitter offers full support for your HDMI 2.0b equipment, including true 4K resolution at 60Hz. For smoother video and color transitions, the splitter offers 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, meaning every pixel gets its own unique color. Widely Compatible The HDMI 2.0 splitter supports HDCP 2.2 and is backward compatible with 4K 30Hz, 1080p and 720p displays. This ensures that it will work with lower resolution displays such as TVs or projectors around your site or in your digital signage application. With the built-in scaling function, the HDMI 1 in 2 out splitter can output to two displays at different resolutions simultaneously. Garbage product
Works 1 time out of 10, really. Turned off everything 10 times, it worked at the last time without changing anything. For the price, that's incredible.

Great product with two small problems
Does what it claims, very well. I have two problems, however: The Optical TOSLINK/SPDIF output does however not support DTS/DD5.1 bitstream passthrough from what I can gather from my tests, but rather it transcodes that to PCM, I guess. Can't really complain too much as it was never advertised as supporting that, on the other hand I couldn't find any info if it supported that or not. The other problem I am having is the video signal gets reset on Output 1 when Output 2 gets disconnected, or vice versa. Would be great if the signal stayed on, because this freezes my capture card (on Output 2), as it detects my monitor (on Output 1) as disconnected when it switches to another HDMI source. I tried switching them around and using Auto/Copy EDID mode, but nothing helped. Guess I'll have to plug an EDID emulator into the HDMI Output 1. I would rate the quality of the product, but that's hard to say without owning it for a few years. It feels well built though, with the metal chassis.
