Triple-4K Monitor Docking Station
I have been waiting on this device to hit the market all year and it did not disappoint. I purchased the new MacBook Pro with the USB-C ports earlier this year and have been waiting for a docking station that could handle my extra 2 monitors and could utilitize the USB-C cable to charge my laptop while also passing the data, sound, video, etc. It is simple to hook up and works great with awesome video display ports. It has allowed me to hook up one cable into my laptop each morning. This device would get a 10 out of 10 rating.

A Great USB-C Docking Station that has Everything
I have been in the AV/IT Integration space for over 30 years.
I found this unit easy to setup and use on my Dell, HP and Toshiba Laptops. The unit installs quickly and is compatible with a variety of operating systems, which I tested. There was no tearing of the video or audio sync issues during my testing. It was easy to set up two DisplayPort monitors, and on one HDMI monitor .  Utilizing a single USB Type-C cable, the dock also provides access to a wired network and five USB ports. Overall, I found the unit to be reliable, easy to use and of high quality.
What is Included:
1- Docking Station
1- USB-C Cable
1- Universal Power Adapter
1- Instruction Manual

Works Perfectly
I bought this dock for a new Lenovo Yoga 910. It worked perfectly out of the box, runs a 4K LG monitor and numerous peripherals, was essentially plug and play. Very pleased, my experience with OEM docks has been mixed at best in the past. Good work, StarTech.

Amazing!
If you are someone who needs a lot of monitors, this is an excellent docking station. All this new technology makes setting these up very quick, and in my case, completely automatic. I planned all my cables and monitor placement in advance, and after plugged in everything and turning it on, my laptop screen blinked once and all the monitors came to life. A few minutes of (Windows) setup and I was up-and-running. Video quality is superb; I can’t believe this is all accomplished by a single cable! The dock itself is thin enough to sit on the base of my left-most monitor and looks amazing. The included Thunderbolt3 cable is only 50cm long, so take that into account during setup, or have a longer cable handy.

Amazing, has all the ports you'd ever need.
This dock has been fantastic for me. It's lightweight and easily portable. I have two monitors hooked up to it, one is a 4k screen and the other a 1080p and both work great. This dock actually works better than my unstable Dell TB16 dock.
Make sure when you first plug it in to let it sit plugged into your computer for 5 minutes or so because Windows has to go out and look for drivers to install for the different ports. I thought I had a defective unit at first because I couldn't get the Ethernet port to work right away but then after waiting for a little bit it started working and I realized Windows had to install the drivers first. I've tested all the ports and they all work now.
One more thing to keep in mind is that the USB-C power delivery is only 60W. Therefore in my case I still needed to have the power adapter plugged into my laptop for the battery to charge as my laptop uses a 120W power adapter. I have a pretty beefy laptop so I won't knock the rating down for that as I'm sure it'll be fine for many laptops out there and in worst case scenario, you just plug in your power adapter too.

Two screens and power
It's not a docking station, but I only have one cable connected to my laptop, so it is practically just as convenient as a docking station. I suspect I am not taxing this port replicator enough, but It is driving two 2k screens without issue. My laptop (Dell Latitude 5480) requires a 65-watt power supply, this only supplies 60 Watts. The laptop complained once, but I told it to just ignore it. No issue with charging that I can see, and no more warnings from the laptop.

Great dock
This has been a great dock, driving 3 monitors at 4K resolution with no issues. However, I wanted to get a longer USB-C cable due to space on the desk. I ordered what I thought was a quality cable online, but only two monitors work through it. Switching the original cable back in works fine. Are then minimum cable specs I can look for to find another?

I bought this in the last couple of years when using the 15 inch mac and sound and ethernet used to work. 4K Monitors were kind of flaky and I preferred the 60Hz performance so ended up plugging them directly to laptop usb-c ports. It was not as good as I expected but workable. Now when I tried it with the 16 inch mbp using Catalina the sound and ethernet have also stopped working - so its basically a usb power source. It is still able to power up the mbp. I am more disappointed that something bought in the last couple of years has already become just a massive power brick.

Does not provide stable power to Dell XPS 9300
Dock seems to only work correctly when the XPS-13 9300 is also connected to its own 45W PSU or if an USB type-A to type-C cable is used in combination with the Dell provided DBQBJBC054 (effectively running on battery power only). If the XPS-13 is purely connected to the dock, it keeps reconnecting over and over. It does so with and without displays connected to the dock. Dock is updated with firmware version 1.12.9_10.11 and labled 'rev 3' on its bottom-side. PSU is rated at 20V 6A and the frimware tool is reporting 60W max power.

Doesn't charge Laptop
I have a Dell 7730 laptop that I purchased the 100w docking station for so I can slow charge the laptop and enjoy Three 4k monitors. The dock does not charge the PC, I get an error saying its not compatible with the system when I plug it into the USB-C port.(USB-C charging works with other dell docks) Also the dock will not support my HDMI to display-port cable at full resolution but I had an extra DP to mini DP cable that worked fine and gave me full resolution on all three monitors. Hopefully the USB ports don't flake out when undocking and redocking PC like the Dell WD19 models

Works with Mac Pro 13 2020 and Big Sur
I just installed this with my MacBook Pro 13 2020 Intel and it worked after getting the following things fixed in my scenario: 1.) Install the Displaylink Manager for MacOs (search on Google) 2.) Use the provided cable to connect MacBook to docking station. I had a brand new quality USB-C cable (longer cable) and the screen attached to the displayport was not discovered. Hope that helps to overcome startup troubles!

Fine print is missing
They claim it will work on 3 displays. What they don't tell you is that those displays need to be of particular types. this product will NOT work on your thunderbolt displays. But you wouldn't find that mentioned anywhere in the description. And then they'll just try to sell you something else. LAME.

Almost good, not great compatibility
Got this for work. For many months, was using my two identical ASAUVG275 monitors with it using identical DisplayPort cables. Never managed to get more than 60Hz. By chance, connected an HDMI cable to one of the monitors, and discovered that through HDMI the docking station does support 75Hz. Running latest Intel drivers on my laptop, latest Window and latest Display link drivers so.... poor compatibility through DisplayPort. Not good.

Difficulties recognizing USB peripherals
Love the sleek design, multitude of USB ports and dual monitor support. Great way to use USB-C to connect the laptop with two 27" monitors, two webcams, external USB microphone, and network cable. However, despite updated firmware and other software driver updates, the USB-C dock constantly disconnects (doesn't recognize) connected USB blue yeti microphone and newer 925 logitech web cam. Doesn't have to be this way. Any fix available? Other culprits?

Be careful
I purchased this dock to expand my monitors for my laptop - no dice - only one DP port works. When I asked customer support they said it was because my laptop didn't have Alt-USBC mode, although the instructions clearly state "An available USB-C port" is all you need... I was told that this is 'very confusing' by the customer support rep. Also, even though I have the latest drivers installed (10.0.82.0), the display port monitor lags, even at 60hz setting. Perhaps this is my fault too? As this is an expensive investment, make sure you ask many questions about compatibility before you buy. I was very dissapointed.

Works great with Apple Silicon MBPs
It works well with the M1-based MBP. This way I can have three external screens as opposed to just one the M1 supports out of the box. Besides that, I have logitech mouse dongle, webcam, keyboard and an external drive connected, and it works great. Its well designed and the colour scheme works well with the macbook.

Works really well. Thank you Startech!
I have owned mine for a couple years. I have a Macbook Pro, always upgraded to the most current Mac OS. I use three DisplayLink monitors, plus a third HDMI. And every port is pegged: speakers, microphone, thumb drive, webcam, everything works great.
