Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a speed demon! I tested this enclosure with two (2) 128GB m.2 sata drives configured with RAID 0 and it is quite fast! Comes with USB-A or USB-C cables and does not require an external power source. It has a solid aluminum enclosure so it survives the travels of a road warrior! This is now a part of my daily tool kit. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Storage Device I am very happy with the performance. I set it up with a Raid 1 config for portable storage. The data transfer speeds were adequate. The aluminum case is sturdy and can handle being in the bottom of my laptop bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, simple This Enclosure will not disappoint for speed. I install 2 drives of equal size and was impress with the speeds used. I configured the drives to work in JBOD mode and it was effortless and worked incredibly fast. The simple configuration for the dip switches makes setup very simple and easy. The case construction is built well, in fact the tolerances for the case size made the hardest part getting into it to set up the drives. I had a hard time getting it open but once it was open everything else was smooth sailing. I think if you are looking to have incredible speed for an external drive this is a nice small and slim way to do it, Overall this does not disappoint at all. Rated 5 out of 5 by from FAST! Add drives, flip a couple switches, press a button and it's ready. Easy to assemble, and incredibly fast (especially with RAID0). With dual WD Blue M.2 500GB drives, RAID0, and 66GB folder of files ranging in size up to 4GB): Win10/USB3.0/NTFS: Sustained transfer rates of 325MB/sec. Mac Journaled/USB-C/Macbook(touchbar): 530MB/sec. I've got all my own tools, but assembled the device using the supplied parts, for review purposes. Critiques: a) Nice that a small screwdriver was included, but the screws for the drives are so small that the driver should be magnetic to make it easier to get the screws in place without dropping them, or if the user has a hard time handling tiny screws! b) If you're going to include a small screwdriver, then a small (even plastic) wrench/nut driver should be included too, since the brass fittings have to be moved to mount the drives depending on the length. c) The brass fittings should be at the farthest hole on the board by default, since the most common length for new m.2 drives places the notch at that point. Apart from speed, major positives: a) includes USB-C and standard USB adapter cables. b) Easy to assemble and configure RAID choice. c) Works with just one drive as well. c) Board slides in easily and with the cover screwed on, there's no rattling. d) LED indicators for both drives. e) RAID config is 3 DIP switches and a button, dead simple. Love this little box! I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great speeds This unit delivers as advertised. Speeds on both Raid 1 and JBOD were great. Just put the drives in, configure the dip switches and plug into your computer. I like the fact it comes with both USB A and USB C cables. It also comes with a small screwdriver so you have everything you need right out of the box. Great little unit for transferring data around or for backups. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
