Build a RAID array with two mSATA SSDs that can be installed into a single 2.5in SATA bay. Vastly increase system performance by adding a dual mSATA SSD RAID array into any 2.5" SATA HDD application with the 25SAT22MSAT mSATA to SATA adapter.
Utilize the full potential of your SATA III controller, with mSATA SSDs reducing your data transfer bottleneck with file transfer speeds up to 6 Gbps. mSATA SSDs also save you money by reducing your power consumption over regular platter drives.
You can achieve greater SSD capacity, or data redundancy with the Dual SSD controller supporting multiple RAID modes (RAID 0, 1, BIG). The SSD adapter also supports non-RAID operation (JBOD) when paired with a port-multiplying SATA controller, so both drives can be used independent of one another.
Help protect the health of your drive with an open-frame design ensuring maximum heat dissipation.

Fake product
500 MB/s is the speed of regular ssd. People buying your product expect twice faster speed with RAID 0. This is a fake product unless you tell us that we are wrong and the RAID 0 built with your product can be something closer to 900 MB/s

Quite Disappointing
I bought this for the RAID feature. It's a joke.
I am able to use about half of the available bandwidth of my SATA 3 port.
2 identical Samsung EVO 850 drives as RAID-0 top out at just under 3 Gbps.
A single drive performs almost 2 x faster.
Using this product represents a waste of about $400AUD
Suspect the bottleneck is the crummy J-micron controller.

Disapointing
The electronic board is not fixed in the metal frame at the oposite end of SATA connector and RAID feature is a joke. RAID 0 is 2 times slower than a single drive instead of being 2 times faster!
It doesn't worth the money. You will spend 50$ or more for nothing.

Works great
Used this to install two Samsung 860 evo mSata drives into my 2012 MacBook Pro. Works fine right out of the gate, no problems whatsoever. I have them configured 'RAID 0', which theoretically is the fastest setup, but, Blackmagic speed test shows read/write at ~450 MB/s, no faster than individual disks would be. But the computer feels faster than it did with a single SSD, so possibly the Blackmagic test doesn't perfectly reflect what's actually going on.

Good for Apple Mac computers
For my SATA external SSD I wanted to try a modern small size RAID Adapter Converter. So I have found the StarTech unit. The initial test with 2 mSATA 500GB SSD showed 2 individual "Drives". Changing to RAID1 was not successful until I formatted each SSD properly to HFSe. After that it was necessary to reformat the Converter. Formatting showed "JMicron RAID1", wich was successful. Afterwards the Converter was usable for backup with the TimeMachine.
The "25SAT22MSAT" allows to build an inexpensive , but very small SSD memory up to 2TB. Proper Formatting is the secret!

Works great for me in RAID 1.
I was always shy of SSDs of any sort, due to reliability questions. I've also configured many small business servers, so RAID 1 is my preferred choice. This card gives me data redundancy and excellent speed at very good prices for it and mSATA SSD drives, if you shop around. [who doesn't shop around?]

Works
Got this one to install IPFIRE on my firewall using raid1 configuration, OS installed fine (Linux detected the drive) and in 20 minutes it was back in business.
