Not great
Used these devices on 2 separate sites between an NVR and a Monitor. The distance for each was less than 20 metres and we regularly get calls to say that the screens are frozen.
Resetting the power to the Extenders doesn't work, so the NVR has to be powered down and reset. Then the Extenders started to work again.

This product is dreadful
Bought two sets of these devices to use for hiding cables in two new meeting rooms (Projector on one side of the room, USB port on the other). Ran 2 x 20m CAT6 cables from a floor box in the room up a service conduit to the ceiling mounted receiver, a 2m HDMI from the receiver to the ceiling mounted projector and a 5m active USB extender to a port on the wall. Neither worked. Using an HMDI EDID adaptor, I managed to get a display on the projector after a lot of messing around but no amount of tinkering with the USB would make it work. Ran brand new CAT7 cables to the Startech device and a new USB extender. New USB extender worked, display would no longer work. Replaced the startech device with a new HDMI extender - worked fine. Steer clear of this product at all costs lest you end up tearing your hair out like me.
