Too bulky yet good protection I suppose. Didn't realize it would be vertical carry and with a strap. Really just looking for a simple sleeve to slip computer into for quick short term storage and hand carry to work. I had a $20 gift certificate for Dell product and this was all I found to purchase for that amount.

Good vertical laptop case
It does exactly what I want … to carry my laptop vertically over my shoulder. The pouch is well padded, but not the shoulder strap, so I replaced the strap for one with a pad. The case fits my 15.6” Inspiron as long as I don’t put the charge cable into the outer pocket until after I close the zipper.
