Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome dock!! I tried a Plugable quad 4k Thunderbolt dock 1st but it was not hot unpluggable. Powering off every time I disconnected was a PITA super quickly. I move my laptop 2x a day. I stumbled across this, saw it's USB-C instead of Thunderbolt & hesitantly ordered it to see how it handled quad 4k displays.... it's a work place dream come true!! I'm connected to quad 4k displays, using the laptop's display + a USB-C powered external display as a 6th.... 6 displays & I use all daily. Plug in 2 cables (the dock, the LG USB display) & I'm up & running for work, daily. There are no issues with hot plug/unplugs. I'm able to watch videos full screen if wanted & that also works great. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak for any of that level of performance. 1 minor but not minor missing detail in the description is there's a power button to shut it off. All the other docks I've owned over the years stay on 24x7x365.25 & there is always a power draw for doing nothing (I'm a miser when it comes to wasting $ on electricity, so knowing it's powered off left me with a good feeling) From what I'm seeing, it's a native 4k display connectivity & not using DisplayLink but I haven't been able to validate that yet. Nothing wrong with DisplayLink because I'm using them in offices (rock stable for getting work done on quad 4ks there too). It's a nice plus to be able to use native displays instead though. This thing is a 7 star out of 5 star rating for what I need it to do, flawlessly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should be better for $400 Doesn't work with my mac even after enabling screen recording & downloading a driver. Does not recognize the dock at all. Used my laptop for this doc for a while and is really spotty with screens randomly dropping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this docking station I loved this docking station with its 4 HDMI port and multiple USB ports. Ultimately had to replace it with a different unit as there was some incompatibility with my work laptop. Would only hear a slight clicking by the USB port on my laptop (HP Elitebook and this only occurred 1 out of times it was connected. I would eventually get the failed connects to work but never really understood what actually change to work. Once working, never failed.. Worked flawlessly with my personal laptop every time (Lenova Yoga)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home Office Upgrade! Could not be happier with this product. It eliminated the screen flickering I was having issues with when using an USB to HDMI adapter, and actually improved my video performance on my business laptop. Very happily driving 3 monitors with this, and would highly recommend to improve overall home office performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I use this to connect 3 monitors + audio + network + keyboard/mouse to both a Dell laptop via USB-C and an older desktop via USB-A. Both work flawlessly, I am really amazed that this is even possible. Hats off to the Targus team for working with DisplayLink to enable this technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is a wire saver! (only one wire to the PC) I originally got it to work with 2 1080 27" and a 4k 43" on my PixelBook. and was perfect. 4k at 60fps on the 4k and 1080 at 60fps on one and 1080 at 144 fps on the other. I now use the dock between my desk top (Windows/Still issues on linux) a 2012 Mac-pro and the PixelBook, Oh also with a Brio 4k web cam all at the same time! on one dock! . Fricken perfect. Now I need a 3 device usb 3.2 switch... instead of a KVM... Gunna Make One? (5th star if I could hook up more computers to the dock at the same time)
