Not so great
This did not work well for me. It operated on a different network than my base wi-fi, so every time I wanted to use it I had to change networks. I ended up selling it at a loss to someone else who might be able to use it. I ended up buying a different, more powerful extender that is working in sync with my home network.

Went with this device after reading a few evaluations of Wi-Fi extenders. Work from home was taxing my Wi-Fi connectivity and TV streaming was spotty at times, so decided to purchase an extender. Easy to setup and was up and running within 15 minutes.

Bad purchase decision.
I'm sure it's a quality product but it's essentially useless for me. Sadly after unsuccessfully trying to set it up I found it is incompatible with my Verizon FIOS router. An expensive lesson.

Works Great, tough set up!
Works great!! Does exactly what I needed but I had a terrible time trying to set it up. My son, Is a college grad with an IT degree set it up for me in just a few minutes. Get someone who knows what they are doing and you will be very happy with this!!

Still not sure if it's really helping. Still have spotty internet but not sure if it's sue to Wi-Fi issues or bad service/connectivity. Also shipping took 2 months!

It's pretty easy to set up. It puts out a fairly strong signal...on 2.4 (nothing on 5. That's what I wanted...so fine.

Received unit promptly and read instructions carefully before setting up. I have to say that I am a little disappointed in this product. I cannot see that it makes any difference to the performances of my laptop or desktop. I suppose the only thing it does is to allow one to use wi-fi a little furthar away than before.

Solved my problem
It works. We couldn’t get WIFI on our enclosed porch. We installed this product in the room closest to the porch and we now have strong WIFI signal not only on the porch but outside on the patio.

Solved my Wi-Fi problem
I had trouble with Wi-Fi reception in a far corner of the house. After installing the TP-Link RE220 range extender this has solved the problem. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to others with a Wi-Fi reception problem.

Disapointing RE220 performance!
I bought two of these devices to extend the wifi signal from my Netgear AC3200. These extenders could not be placed more than 10 feet from my Netgear unit were it signals a weak wifi. I was very disappointed it in the RE220 performance.

I was so satisfied with the purchasing process and the TP-Link RE220 range extender. Dell's price was the best around and they had free shipping.
The RE220 was extremely easy to set up and connect to. Almost totally automated and its made a tremendous positive improvement in wifi coverage within my house.

This is a relatively inexpensive, but quite reliable range extender that met our needs perfectly. The signal to the other side of the house is now much stronger and more reliable than we were receiving from the range expender we replaced. Set up was much easier than the directions indicated it would be.

Link Extender works well, easy enough to set up if you pay attention to the instructions. Easy to reset and start over if need be. Minus one star due to the very long delay to deliver the device. More than 30 days to ship

Not as helpful as I hoped for
This is my first use of an extender so I can only rate this compared to my expectations not versus other extenders. Find that a weaker signal from my router works better than the strongest possible signal from this extender. Using the extender I find it more likely that an apps initial use of the internet is slower and more prone to failure, interruptions which lead to buffering are far more frequent and I get some new sort of signal distortion that makes a TV picture off color and washed out looking

Not necessarily easy to set up. Still can't figure out why my 5G isn't connected. Once the device was over 25 feet from my router I couldn't establish any connection so, not sure how well the unit is boosting my signal overall. From what I can gather, you basically get what you pay for.

Great extender, but didn't work for my house
I've heard great things about this Wi-Fi extender and it came highly recommended by one of my friends. It is easy to setup, the instructions are very clear. However, the extender didn't work for my house, hence the 4 stars.
