You don't have to be near an AC power source to keep your mobile devices fully charged and your power tools and small appliances operating. This 2000 W mobile inverter converts 12 V DC power from your car, utility truck, fleet vehicle, boat or RV's battery into pure sine wave 110 V AC power. Just connect the included battery cables between the PINV2000SWL-120's DC input terminals and the positive and negative terminals on your vehicle's battery. An LCD displays capacity, voltage, frequency, current and fault information.
This heavy-duty power inverter provides a modified sine wave for use at remote locations, such as campgrounds, construction sites and mobile offices. Two NEMA 5-15/20R outlets deliver a continuous output of 2000 W and a peak surge output of 4000 W. That's plenty to operate a variety of appliances and power tools, such as low-power lights, telemetry equipment, smart battery rechargers for small battery-operated power tools, and mobile office equipment. Both outlets feature OSHA-compliant GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protection to shield you from electrical hazards due to excessive fault current.
A 5V USB-A port outputs DC power up to 2.1 A. A USB-C port outputs 5 V/9 V/12 V fast-charging up to 18 W maximum. Both USB ports remain active when the inverter's on/off switch is set to Off. This allows you to charge your smartphone, tablet, laptop or GPS unit without draining too much power from the vehicle's battery.
The on/off switch offers one-touch control over all AC outlets. If the power input from the vehicle's battery drops below 10 V or exceeds 16 V, the PINV2000SWL-120 will automatically shut down. Green and red LEDs indicate normal and improper operation. The temperature-controlled fan system begins cooling automatically when the internal temperature rises to a certain level during extended use. An audible alarm sounds during excessively low voltage or fault conditions.
The included PINVSWRM remote control module with 20-foot (6-meter) cable connects to the telephone-style RJ12 jack on the inverter's front panel. The module lets you mount the inverter out of sight, such as below your truck cab's jump seat or inside the glove compartment, and operate it from your vehicle's dashboard. The green LED confirms the inverter is powered on and operating correctly.
The industrial power inverter's aluminum housing withstands the rigors of worksites, construction sites, business trips and family vacations. Use the built-in mounting brackets and included hardware to permanently install the inverter in a horizontal position.
