DisplayPort is a new digital display interface standard put forth by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). It defines a digital audio/video interconnect intended to be used between computer and display monitors, or computers and home theater systems. Similar to HDMI, in that it supports both Digital Video/Audio signals, DisplayPort is geared more toward the computer market, where HDMI dominates the Home Theater market. Tripp Lite's DisplayPort cables support a maximum bandwidth of 10.8Gbps, as well as DPCP (DisplayPort Content Protection), HDCP, and Ultra High Definition (UHD) 4K x 2K video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160, including 1080p.

Fine Cable
Fine cable, ordered two, used one. One of the monitors I ordered came with the cable. Should have read the product info more carefully. Kept the second. Cost more to send it back.

They work
Great cables, but were you really expecting cables to be reviewed poorly? If you have a 4k monitor these will do the trick to make sure you have a crisp display.

Works great with height adjustable desk
Multiple cables with multiple monitors on a height adjustable desk. Works exactly as expected without issues - and because of the latches, stays connected, even with multiple up/down cycles every day.

Purchased the wrong Cable
I was told I need this cable in order to get my monitor and tower to work again. It wasn’t the problem. The problem was the DP to HDMI adapter not the DP to DP cable which did fix the problem. I’d like to return the cable-but just haven’t made the time to do so.
