Purpose-Built Gaming UPS Protects Your Equipment and Provides Pure Sine Wave Output
This 120V line-interactive UPS provides pure sine wave output in both AC and battery backup modes to keep your gaming PC or gaming console reliably powered. It also protects connected equipment against blackouts, brownouts, surges and line noise that can damage valuable electronics or destroy data. The SMART1500PSGLCD is ideal protection for high-end gaming systems powered by Active PFC power supplies, as well as routers, modems and other network equipment in your computer room, game room or home theater.
Reliable, Expandable Battery Backup Keeps You Playing Through Power Outages
The field-replaceable, hot-swappable internal battery keeps your gaming rig fully operational without interruption during power failures and other severe power conditions. With a typical 300W gaming system connected, the SMART1500PSGLCD provides 17 minutes of independent runtime. This allows you to play through short power failures, avoid streaming interruptions and safely save your game and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. For additional play, the UPS supports an optional Tripp Lite BP24V9T external battery pack (sold separately), which provides 41 minutes of expanded runtime.
10 NEMA 5-15R Outlets Protect Your Connected Components and Monitor Load Conditions
Four 5-15R energy-saving outlets provide battery backup and network-grade surge protection for your gaming rig and connected desktop and network components. Five outlets are surge-only to connect peripherals not requiring battery backup, such as a printer or desk lamp. One battery- and surge-supported master outlet controls the energy-saving outlets and reports the wattage drawn by the PC or other connected device. If the device connected to the master outlet shuts down or enters standby, the three energy-saving outlets also turn off.
Dynamic Lighting Adds Excitement to Your Gaming Experience
The SMART1500PSGLCD is purpose-built for gaming, including RGB color LEDs you can program yourself. You can program a variety of color and motion effects or configure the lights to respond to power consumption changes on the master outlet.
Detachable Wireless LCD Reports Real-Time Status
The front-panel LCD displays a wide range of UPS and power conditions, including operating mode, voltage, frequency, battery level and load level. It detaches from the UPS system and operates wirelessly up to 20 feet (6 meters) away for as many as 12 hours.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Corrects Low- and High-Voltage Conditions
AVR protects your equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems caused by brownouts. The SMART1500PSGLCD maintains regulated 120V nominal output during brownouts as low as 97V and overvoltages up to 145V, while keeping the battery fully charged and ready to take over in case of power failure.
Premium Protection from EMI/RFI Line Noise Helps Your Equipment Perform Better
This UPS system filters out disruptive electromagnetic and radio frequency interference that can inflict hardware damage or data loss. This EMI/RFI filtering also helps your connected components perform better and last longer.
Can Safely Shut Down Automatically Even When You Aren't Around
By downloading and installing Tripp Lite's free PowerAlert software on your computer and connecting it to the UPS system with the included USB cable, you can set up safe unattended shutdown in the event of a prolonged power failure when you aren't around.
Note
: Installing PowerAlert provides enhanced functionality, but is not required.
Built-In USB Charging Ports Keep Your Mobile Devices at Full Capacity
Two USB ports, one USB-A and one USB-C, share 5V 3A of maximum current for charging your smartphone, tablet and other mobile devices. These USB charging ports are available for use when the UPS system is turned on and receiving AC power.

Excellent product
I use it for my PC and some game consoles. It works even better than I expected. I usually get power outages during rainy seasons that last only a couple of minutes, this UPS has been of great help allowing me to keep gaming during these short outages or allowing me to save my game for longer outages. Greatly recommended.

Good device but
The only thing I criticize about this device is the autonomy which is only 10 minutes for a gaming PC in my situation I will have to buy an external battery which is only available in the United States - this is very expensive if you live in another country in general it is a very good device I recommend it

Probably one of the only products that works as advertised!
I bought this UPS about two weeks ago for my gaming PC. It has already saved me twice! The electric provider in my area is quite unstable and we have brown outs all the time. While I do game quite a bit I also use my PC to work from home. The last two times we had brown outs I was working and would have lost a considerable amount of work had it not been for the UPS kicking in and keeping things running for me!

1 is great, and 1 has LED failure out of the box
Ordered 2 from Amazon. First one is great, with the battery backup working when tested and display and LEDs working as designed. Second out of the box, the battery backup works when tested, display works fine, but bottom LED changes colors if you tip unit slightly, press on the bottom panel, or when the temperature of the room changes… flashing from blue to green to off and sometimes other colors. I don't trust any connections in it. Had to send videos to prove that it was broken. Finally got RMA number after 2 calls, and now to wait 7-10 business days to get replacement. Will have to take off work to ship bad unit to them. For almost $300 each, this should not happen.

Almost perfect and well worth the price. Protect your gear!
Where I live, we have power outages on average around once a month. Usually, they don't last too long, but when you are working on projects, any power outage will put a wrench in things, especially as someone reliant on external storage and Thunderbolt hubs. As someone who has lost terabytes of data and multiple hard drives over the years to power outages, the moment I had some extra cash, I knew I had to pick up a UPS, and I had always heard great things about the quality of this company's UPS'. I knew I wanted pure sine wave power for my studio equipment to minimize any potential noise being introduced to my hardware. This UPS does everything I need and more. I love the functionality of the detachable display; the aesthetic and customization are nice to have as someone who loves coloured LED lighting, and the USB connection to my NAS to allow for safe shutdown in the event of a more prolonged power outage is fantastic. My only problems with the device are that the software UI is a bit dated and hard to navigate, and it took me a few hours of digging to figure out what software I needed to install in the first place. The lack of support for macOS is unfortunate but not essential for my current use case, as my NAS is currently a Windows machine.

So far so good
Just got it in today. All is as it should be so far. I love the removable display. That is really cool.
It apears to be well built and is heavy. It runs my top end desktop tower and 1 monitor.

what is wrong with their customer service?
The power supply itself seems to be doing its job, however, Amazon has been more useful for me on techsupport than the company has, their website sucks, and their instructions said nothing about resetting it when I got it and it didnt work. Amazon told me to reset the supply and its worked fine ever since. Also, software sucks, website techsupport didnt have this model in the menu when i tried to put in a trouble ticket and the website wouldnt let me put in my issue in the comment box and wouldnt let me submit without a "valid comment" so, i have had mostly bad experience on a mostly functional product.

Worth. Every. Penny.
Great unit that has more than enough juice for what I need. I really enjoy the user configurable RGB lighting (but do wish the software was easier to find on their website). I've already had to use it for it's intended purpose and it switched to backup without hesitation and my computer didn't even know the difference.

Great Protection At Affordable Price
Just got a new gaming PC and my old UPS died. The Tripp Lite Gaming UPS checked off the boxes for my needs. Pure sine wave plus protection from high and low swings is great.. Run time on battery is plenty to get me through our normal short power blips. RGB lighting wasn't needed but does add some "cool" factor.

Great price for a pure sine wave UPS
So far so good. I'm running two 3D printers off this setup and wanted a pure sine wave output. This is the lowest price UPS I could find that offers that. One note, this should be in bold in the startup instructions, you need to push and hold the power button for 10 seconds or so on first power up to enable the UPS power outlets.

I would buy this unit again but it is currently overpriced.
I bought this to use for my design tower. I wanted a true sign wave with an extended run time. I wanted a unit that I could add a battery to. I really liked the idea of a removable display panel. However, I was disappointed that there isn't a way of keeping the display on when running from AC or a way to lock what is being displayed.
Some of the programming is annoyingly complex. And I've yet to figure out how to update the program. I still haven't figured out how to download the shutdown programming as it seems to be hidden in the website and using a QR code to get to it only easily works if I was downloading it to my smartphone…

Life saver!
This has been an absolute life saver! I got this once I heard about it from Linus tech tips on YouTube. I recently moved and our new place has lost more power than I have ever had happen in my life.
I built a new pc back in March of 2022 and have been working remove since 2020 after moving in October of 2022 I found out that my new home lost power a lot and I couldn't let that impact my work, or have it damage my new desktop to I bought one of these and fell in love.
The customer support has been amazing as well. After owning my original unit 4 months, the controller module broke. It was past the return date on Amazon, but their support team helped me out and sent me a replacement because of their 1 year warranty. It was a simple and easy process. Minus the fact that I couldn't select my unit in the support ticket, out side of that, first class experience and will recommend more in the future.

Not what I expected but what I needed
So, setup was a bit rough with the software and the detachable unit that did not charge right away. Found that the glue holding the rechargeable batteries was keeping it from touching the terminals which was an easy fix. Despite the setup issues this is an excellent device. I have other UPS and their software range from simple to why did I even install this on my computer but the Tripp Lite software allows you control on a different level. Controlling every aspect of the unit from RGB to notifications, this is how UPS software should be. Now, for the unit itself. I like the RGB and having the ability to have it reflect and activate when the computer comes on. I like that when you remove the head unit the RGB continues on as if its still connected. The device is nice and silent and looks cool. There are some caveats, first the device cannot be placed directly on the floor as the cooling fans are at the bottom. I corrected this by adding 3d printed feet. Second, the device uses a micro usb connector as the interface for the detachable unit. I would like to have seen this with a USB-C interface.

Do not buy! Died in 14 months
This was trash. Died within 14 months and this model# doesn't exist for submitting a support ticket. That just goes to sure how much faith they have in this. UPS claims my wiring is faulty when on AC power even when on a pure sine wave solar power station that worked fine with it previously or on normal home AC power. Here's hoping I can somehow get a hold of support to see if they can fix it under warranty.

If problems cannot be resolved I would not purchase again.
So far, I'm a little disappointed in it. I purchased this because it was specifically for gaming, but my sim racing games seem to crash more often because of the UPS. I am also losing my video monitors for approximately 20 to 30 seconds after I exit my sim. I may be able to improve things with some different settings but so far have not had much success. I will have to find some support for these issues and perhaps I can make a better review after I seek further tech support.

set-up without software was nearly brain-free, except it would have been nice if the instructions were more user-friendly. still, the only issue i had (a very minor one) was resolved with a very quick call to tripp-lite -- a call that was answered quickly and competently.
i have no complaints at all

Good if not damaged on arrival
Good unit if you get one that works/is not damaged on arrival. Some diffences on ones I've purchased before. The original usb c mount for the remote unit is now usb a style and I've seen a few reviews with usb micro. Can't know for sure what style you get. The other units I've used have kicked in a few times and saved computers and networking equipment from brownouts and a handful of outages.

Gamer style with super functionality
I wanted a UPS that gave me more than just battery power. I wanted an easy way to see the power draw of my system without having to bend over the hunt through a menu under my desk. The SMART1500PSGLCD give me that and more. The removable screen means when I am testing I can have the front panel within easy reach to grab the info I need. Plus the software is top notch, a step above the competition so I can actively monitor via it as well.
As if being a high quality UPS was not enough the UPS comes with gamer aesthetic options, allowing me to set RGB on the UPS to add to the room's feel. This is RGB and not ARGB so not perfect by way better than any competition.
All of this backed with Tripp Lite's reputation and quality. ALMOST PERFECT.
