I would spend the extra money for an isobar
I had two of these and I think one may have failed during a lightning event. A printer was damaged but all of the other connected equipment survived. Tripp-Lite is currently evaluating the strip for insurance reimbursement of the damaged printer after a lightning event. The other strip did protect everything that was connected during the same event. They replaced the plug strip that had the printer on it and had me send the old strip to them. I still gave this five stars because of the excellent customer service and satisfaction I received from Tripp-Lite. None of the other manufacturers deliver this level of customer service regardless of what they claim on their warranty making their warranty pretty much useless. Out of caution I have started upgrading other strips to isobars.

I would like to buy 6 Outlet Super Surge Protector again
I bought three TrippLite Protectors to protect my appliances. This is 6 Outlet Surge Protector is very good. Safety first high joule rating conforms to UL 1449 safety standards. An integrated 12A circuit breaker protects all outlets and shuts down connected equipment in case of overload. Also it comes with Lifetime Limited Warranty & $50,000 Insurance. I have recommended this product to my friends.

Top of the line protection
Bought this to replace my 25 year old Tripp Lite surge protector. While the old one still worked, following established tech guidelines I figured it was time for a new one. While I've no doubt this one will last just as long, I'll probably be getting a new one in a few years, and it will be another Tripp Lite.

Great product high joule rating
I have one on my desktop computer workstation and one on my entertainment system. Have had a power outage since I got them and so far all good.
Hopefully I won't have any power surges for a long time now but if so I feel confident they will save my equipment!

Always depend on Tripp Lite to protect expensive electronics
Working great. Does what it is supposed to do. Hope to never need to fully test (e.g. a surge incident). Tripp Lite has best warranty and insurance.

I have had this unit for several years. great layout of the plugs. I actually prefer this and the tr-6fm because the power switch is at the opposite end of the power switch. Makes for a much cleaner installation. Just wish I could find some more.

Great value for robust surge protection.
This device is ideal if you want a robust level of protection against surges, and you don't want to pay extra for unneeded connections such as cable tv, phone, internet or other types of lines. The 2420 joules rating is far above most other surge protectors in this price range and the LED indicators confirm your protection is working. The on-off switch is conveniently located far enough from the 6 outlets that it's not buried under connected plugs, and a bright-red indicator light in that switch confirms its status. Do be aware that the 6 outlets are pretty close together - this is a great device if you have standard 3-prong plugs on your equipment, but one of the large "block" type plugs would block at least one adjoining outlet. Overall, an outstanding buy.

I selected this product after doing extensive online reviews
After losing my computer and monitor to a power surge due to the carelessness of my power company, I went online and spent some time trying to find a surge protector to protect my rebuilt desk top computer and new monitor.
I was very pleased to find the TR6 with 2420 joules and with a very reasonable price. Also, the 6 ft cord was just what I needed. The design is solid.
I also researched the company to make sure the product I was buying online was reliable and I was pleased to learn you are an established company.

Used them for over 40 years
Used to protect a reader/ magnifier with a 24" computer monitor (some $4,000 + in value), protecting a 65" tv and protecting digital hearing aid charger (some $6,000 + in value)
