Great for laptops with no ethernet port
New laptops are being delivered without Ethernet ports. Connecting to our domain requires a hardwire connection. This device makes that possible with very little fuss.

Doesn't work on Mac as of Oct. 2016
Tripp Lite has no intention of updating the driver and will not accept returns after 30 days. Needless to say do not buy their product, just buy the $30 mac version.

Tripp-lite works with LAN cable also!!!
My router, which is not that old, has only 1 ethernet socket for input. All "output" is LAN, and the Tripp-lite took the LAN. YEA!!!!!

Definitely a great purchase
We've been utilizing wifi on our tablets for ERP employee clock in/out for 6 months. There have been times where the wifi signal is weak. The effect is slow server update, employee complaints, and delays. I researched several different models then selected this tripplite product. I was a little concerned about startup as some of my research mentioned the use of a CD to load the driver. To my surprised, when the product arrived, there was no CD. The startup mentioned to plug and go. This is what I executed and the product worked flawlessly. Thank you tripplite.
