USB-C Docking Station Turns Your Laptop into a Workstation
This USB-C dock with PD Charging expands the potential of your Windows laptop, Chromebook, smartphone or PC's USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It's ideal for transmitting 4K video and digital audio to two large displays, adding a thumb drive and other USB peripherals, connecting to a wired Gigabit Ethernet network, and powering and charging a PD Charging-compliant mobile device, all at the same time.
Supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Converting Audio/Video Signals
By connecting the built-in USB-C cable to a source device that supports USB DisplayPort (DP) Alt Mode, you can output 4K video and digital audio to an HDMI monitor, television or projector without installing special software drivers.
Transmits 4K Video to 2 HDMI Displays Simultaneously
Two HDMI outputs each support 4K video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with multi-channel sound, 36-bit Deep Color and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. You can display the image from the host computer on both monitors, extend your host desktop across both with different windows open on each, or combine both into one large display as a video wall. Connect both monitors in Extended (4K at 30 Hz under MST/Windows) or Mirror (4K at 60 Hz under SST/Mac) mode.
Note
: When connecting a DP 1.4 Alt Mode host, the maximum HDMI resolution is 4K at 60 Hz for one monitor and 4K at 30 Hz for two. When connecting a DP 1.2 Alt Mode host, the maximum HDMI resolution is 4K at 30 Hz for one monitor and 1080p at 60 Hz for two, due to bandwidth limitation.
USB Ports Connect Keyboards, Thumb Drives and Other Peripherals
Two USB-A hub ports accept USB peripherals, such as flash drives, mice, keyboards and printers. They support fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and are backward compatible with earlier USB generations. One dedicated port also supports 5V 1.5A (7.5W) of charging power dedicated to fast-charging your mobile device.
Note
: Host must support USB OTG (USB On-the-Go).
PD Charging Port Charges the Connected Notebook, Tablet or Other Device
The USB-C port supports Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging of the connected PD Charging-compliant device. Connect the device's AC wall charger to the USB-C PD port, which supports power input up to 20V 5A (100W).
Note
: 15W is dedicated to USB ports with remaining 85W available for PD Charging. This port does not support Quick Charge (QC).
Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network
The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a UTP cable (sold separately), and enjoy true 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers.
Allows External Memory Access
The memory card slots support Micro SD and SD/MMC cards for transferring data to and from your connected computer, laptop or tablet. Both card slots can be used at the same time.
Built-In USB-C Cable Attaches in Either Direction
Unlike traditional USB cables that connect in only one direction, the reversible USB-C male connector plugs into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port in either direction for an instant connection every time.
Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately
The plug-and-play USB-C dock is specifically designed for use with Windows laptops, Chromebooks and other devices equipped with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It requires no extra software to be downloaded or installed and no external power. It fits into a purse, backpack or laptop bag for multiport convenience wherever you go.
