Cheap, works well and easily managed. Support is almost non-existent, but it's an AP, so honestly when are you using support?

Really good AP's, all the bells and whistles you would get with some of the big name brands but much more affordable.

They're good "entry-level" enterprise APs. I wouldn't put them on par with Cisco, but the quality and performance are pretty decent. I've had a couple units die on me over the years, but still fairly reliable overall. Wi-Fi coverage is excellent. If Ubiquiti can continue to improve their support and quality, I'd say these would earn 5 stars.

Installed one of these in February and it's been nothing but problems since day one. It randomly drops all users and goes into an "adopting/adoption failed" loop until restarted. Just last month, I readied 2 new laptops for new employees and they automatically connected to the WPA protected WIFI WITHOUT asking for a password. Yikes! After I connected to the controller console to see if I could determine why, it went completely wacko and refused to allow any access to the LAN or Internet and will not reset to factory specs. Now, I've been in contact with their "support" for a week trying to get answers and a resolution with zero success. Their "support" amounts to you sending an email with your problem and some guy giving you a canned response sometime later that night. So far, none of the responses have even dealt with the issues I'm having. Lesson learned: maybe sometimes it's better to spend the money and get a product that works from a company that stands behind it.
They get one star because I'm unable to give them less and still be able post this review.

Excellent value for money Access Points, and easy to manage using a computer. No Cloud control option yet. I have installed a few of these units at work and have not been let down by them.

These are incredibly powerful access points for the price and the controller software works beautifully. Our company deployed these in more than one location with very little problems getting them to communicate back to the controller. My only complaint is that the controller software uses java and sometimes has issues with java updates.

We needed to replace some consumer level APs, but couldn't get the budget to roll out an enterprise level solution. After seeing Ubiquiti at Interop I figured I would try one...fast forward a year later and we have 30 units deployed across 8 locations. They are solid, powerful units that are easy to manage. If you need a solid AP, don't look past Ubiquiti.

We've had our Wi-Fi service for some time now and getting back into the game was tuff; far worse than a "hall-pass".
Each new relationship soured when it came to paying for new devices ... major hit to the budget and just impossible for me to bring to a Steering Committee (SC).
Opted to do my own research and came across this product! WOW! Shared it with the senior techs and they took to it like bait. My SC willingly passed the funds to pilot three units and after deploying we immediately saw light at the end of the tunnel.
With budget back on track, we request the full menu and I am currently running 3 sites, 14 APs and the statistics and insights are amazing ... software Controller does a great job.
The two items for improvement would be logging the requests (IP, URL, Etc.) and VLAN tagging for Management VLAN (we did have to make a few changes to our setup), that would totally make this solution a full 5 to anyone out there.
GREAT Product Ubiquity.

The Unifi products provide a lot of features for a great price and I have been very happy with them. My only issue with the AP-Pro is that it can be noisy during normal operation. Fortunately, no one has complained yet.

Great hardware software less so
Hardware is excellent we've had no problems since we installed around 60 last year. Software is a little wonky at times and the firmware I don't think gets tested before release. However with some patience it's all good.

Excellent and Affordable
This product is by far one of the best out there. It is a GREAT access point and handles a lot of clients at once. The interface takes some getting used to but if you set up all the necessary infrastructure behind it, it works flawlessly. We were having problems with some earlier models from Ubiquity but I had a colleague recommend this product so I reluctantly tried it. I have not hand any problems with connectivity even with a large quantity of devices connected. Truly a great product at a VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE WITH NO SUBSCRIPTION. Can't say enough good about this product.
