The VITEC Origin Server increases network video system flexibility by delivering video to a wide range of clients, in and outside the wired LAN. It extends the reach of video beyond the local network to remote sites. This server streams content to mobile, desktop and remote endpoints. It accepts streams from all VITEC head-end equipment and delivers video directly to a Content Delivery Network for distribution to remote endpoints. This server streams up to 4 Gb/s/2000 clients (HLS and RTSP).
