Good for basic home printing
I bought mine exactly a year ago and now am awaiting a new toner cartridge. I remember being baffled at first about the setup scrolling on the little screen (for wireless setup, I suppose) but I a cable hookup to my desktop computer works simply. I most enjoy the two-sided printing.

Still waing for replacement printer
Purchased this printer in early June 2024. It worked great for the first 130 pages. Big ugly streaks across the pages printed after that. Followed the instructions and still no better. Contacted customer service three times. They are supposed to ship a new printer. They were to keep me updated by email.

XEROX should be thrown in JAIL!
Just tried to buy a replacement cartridge for my B230 Printer and I was totally shocked to find that the average price for a replacement cartridge is 200.00 dollars. The criminal part is due to the chip that you put in each cartridge so that the consumer can't buy other cheaper cartridges. It was actually cheap

I bought this item b230/DNI and have not received it after the November 27 online order. Appreciate any information you can provide on delivery. I am sure this is a great printer, but as I needed this printer sooner, I have given a poor rating due to wait time on delivery.

However, when things go south, it is hard to figure out the problem Usuarlly, restarting allows me to continue, but I still have no clue what the problem was or how to avoid it.

To clarify for new buyers, this printer DOES HAVE WiFi capability and you do not need to hard wire it to the internet. Set-up was quick and easy. I'm excited for my first Xerox printer

Thought about getting the color version but in my opinion you will never get the resolution out of a color laser for pictures and don’t need color for any other documents. Dell shipping was fast, yea the whole experience has been excellent.

It was actually cheaper for me to go out and buy a brand new printer from another maker, rather than replace a 10.00 dollar cartridge that you are charging 200.00 dollars for. I am NEVER NEVER NEVER buying another Xerox Product. PERIOD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent printer I bought this about a month ago for my office. It was easy to setup and get it going. The toner it came with said it would last 750 pages. About 75 pages in, I got an error that the toner was empty. By no means was I printing heavy or full pages, just normal text. I can say that the image quality of text isn’t the greatest. It’s okay for day to day use, but my HP and even much cheaper Brother laser printers print far superior text quality. Overall it’s not bad, but if you are looking for crisp text or image printing, this is not the printer for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and lightweight The Xerox B230 is a compact and lightweight B/W laser printer that prints duplex (two-sided). It works fine with my Mac mini (M1, 2020) running the latest macOS (Monterey 12.1) and the Xerox driver that I downloaded and installed (appearing as"Xerox(R) B230 Printer" in my System Preferences). Two quirks though: 1) To fit 8-1/2" × 11" Letter paper, the paper tray sticks out the back of the printer a little bit, with a hinged flap over it. 2) My Mac could not complete a print job until I took a day to play with the printer from its physical Control Panel (apart from my Mac). At some point, the B230 display reported a firmware error and the B230 rebooted itself. After that, I was able to print test pages from the physical Control Panel. And after that, my Mac could complete print jobs to the printer. I cannot say exactly what I fixed — I changed nothing on my Mac — but everything works fine now.
