Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable excellent typing keyboard TLDR: As a student with migraines, it is comfortable to use laying down and sitting up while being very comfortable to type with and I highly recommend it. Would not be good for gaming with it's occasional slight bluetooth input delay. This is a really satisfying and comfortable keyboard to use. I enjoy the dips for my fingertips on the keyboard especially, as despite it being a very flat laptop like keyboard the keys are much easier to differentiate. I also appreciate the good backlighting to the keyboard that makes it very easy to use in dim rooms, as I am a migraine sufferer that at times has to use this lying down in a dark room. On that note, it is also comfortable to use laying down. The heft of the keyboard gives it a nice feel and holds it in place well. To top it off, the battery life is very long lasting. Bluetooth connection to my laptop was easy and straightforward. The only minor issue is occasionally there is a delay to the keyboard inputs as I am typing while using bluetooth, but this is not constant and doesn't get in the way of it's use when typing. I could see that not being ideal however while gaming. This is truly a keyboard for documents and internet use, not a gaming keyboard, and I don't think it is trying to be. Overall, would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone who uses it as a student or office worker. It is easy to use, comfortable and great for use in any position. It feels well made and durable, and I think most people getting it for typing would also love it.

The reviewers were Right. This light weight full size portable keyboard Is extremely comfortable to type on, works flawlessly, and has loads of useful functions. I especially like The backlite keys that turn off when you're not typing, then come back on when your hands approach the keyboard (to extend battery power). I suggest also buying the matching covered foam wrist bar that goes with the keyboard.

There's no way to have it stay lit - plugging it in helps, but after some inactivity that you cannot specify, it goes out. If it is not plugged in, it goes out continuously and the "wake up" when you hands get near it is too slow, so you mostly have to touch a key to wake it up - a key you cannot see. I also don't care for the combo keys - this is probably good for someone who has a Mac and a PC and wants to use the keyboard with both which would seem like a rare case.

The keys are comfortable and quiet, but have good tactile feedback. Battery life (with backlight turned off) is excellent - weeks without a recharge. Switching between devices takes one second. The keys have a great feel, spacing is great, and having back lit keys that illuminate when it senses your hand nearby is such a welcomed feature. Charging via USB-C is the icing on the cake for me.

Have contacted Logitech support and downloaded Logitech's Options and SetPoint software as they instructed, but neither allow for customizing a key on this keyboard. The only changes to key functions available are those pre programmed in drop-down menus.

I was originaly testing this for my company to see if it would be a good idea to have other WFT employees use, but after my experience I wouldn't buy from dell again. It took really long just to get this product then when I used it, it seemed previously owned. There was very little customer service and I want to return this keyboard. But I doubt customer service will even help me with that

There are buttons on the keyboard that allow you to conveniently switch profiles if you have multiple Bluetooth devices. The keys do have low travel, much like a laptop keyboard.

Set up is quick and easy. Simply plug the little usb plug into your computer, and turn on the keyboard and you're good to go. You can also go to the website and download extra features. It also comes with a usb cable to recharge your keyboard. The back light is really neat. You can turn it on and off. When it's on, it lights up as soon as it senses your hands approach the keyboard. The back light is great when using the keyboard at night. No need to turn a light on. With this keyboard, you can also easily type of multiple computers and it is compatible with multiple operating systems. I use it with windows 10 without any problems. The keys on this keyboard are spherically dished which mean your fingertips fit perfectly on each key. The keys are also fairly quiet.

It boasts backlit keys, smooth ergonomically designed layout, soundless key strokes, MX keys, as well as being wireless! It is a cut above other keyboards and is a sound investment for daily multi-tasking. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who spends a significant amount of time in front of a PC.

Love the Bluetooth feature and the glowing effects are really nice as well. It's a nice size and doesn't take up too much room on my desk. Doesn't have a way to elevate it anymore then it is but other than that it's a very solid keyboard. Definitely good quality and worth the price.

The back light auto turns off after a period of time which is very frustrating because most of us leave our computers on. I have to manually turn on the back light each time it auto turn off. So, for example, when the back light turns off I can brush my fingers across the keys to have the back light turn on but this option is turned off if you leave the keyboard on for a while (I assume most of us leave computer on when get up to do something else so i then have to press ctrl f7 to turn feature on again. This is ridiculous because Logi make the decision for you for when it turns off back light to save battery, they should leave it to the consumer. Just google the topic and many others have same frustration. Would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOGITECH MX KEYBOARD STANDS ABOVE THE REST I'm a long time user of Logitech products, even after several of the keys on my Logitech 800 gave out, it didn't deter my choice in keyboards, this Logitech MX is superb in every way, it's smaller than the normal keyboard and heavier so it doesn't slide around your desk. It has a ton of neat new features for a keyboard, the only CON I would report is that they (Logitechcould have elevated the rear about another inch higher, but since it is wireless with an extra long battery life, it doesn't matter much. The fact that you can pair it with three different devices is super, I can use it with my Laptop, and my Smart-TV when I'm searching. You can buy cheaper, but you can't buy better

There is a connection to have up to three computers being used at the same time. I only use one right now but it gives me room to expand my work. I keep hitting the Caps Lock accidentally but that is a small problem compared to the work of this keyboard. Backlight is helpful if the room is dim.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good KB, except for one software bug Very solid wireless KB. The keys are compact and responsive. There is one flaw that prevents me from giving it a 5-star rating. There is a bug in the firmware that causes "runaway" volume change- all the way to 100% or to 0%. It is a known bug, extant for some time, according to the community forums. Logitech needs to; 1) keep the user community informed, and, 2) FIX IT. Very annoying.

The keys have a nice feel and switching between 3 devices is quick and flawless. My only problem with the keyboard is with the backlighting. I find that using backlight drains the battery too quickly to be used all the time and the backlight proximity detection is not reliable and will activate at seemingly random times.

Very good upgrade to their line of Keyboards, it's compact and easy to use with the keys made to your fingers with less mistakes of hitting the key next to the one your aiming for, and I like the keys that light up at night. Highly recommend this beautiful and well engineered Keyboard. Worth every penny I paid for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase I enjoyed using it even for a short while. I had to return it as the one I purchased had an issue with one key but I believe it to be an isolated event. Dell could not replace it at the time as they did not have it in stock but I plan to re-order it soon.

Something about the keys on this keyboard that seems to make me type much faster/smoother. I love how it is backlit and the battery life has been been great. Nearly a week on single charge. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Keyboard This is one of the best keyboards I have ever used. The keys are smooth for quick typing. It has an option (enabled by default to automatically detect when you are near to turn the backlight on to save battery. You can pair it with up to 3 different devices via Bluetooth. The weight of the keyboard and rubber padding on the bottom keep it from moving around. I thought I wouldn't like the angle at first but it works great with the Logitech wrist support that was designed with the MX Keys in mind. I highly recommend this and the MX Master series mouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One KB that does it all. I had been looking for a keyboard that was bluetooth, backlit and had a nice typing experience. Oh, and I also really needed one with a Numpad. The MX keys is a bit expensive but it checks all the boxes and then some. The battery life is amazing, multiple brightness settings for the keys, the ability to pair with 3 devices and switch between then with the press of a button is an amazing feature (I currently use it with 1 computer running 2 OS's. An iMac running Mac OS and Windows). The KB has some weight to it so it doesn't just slide around with a slight nudge. I've tried the mechanical KB's and found out that I'm not a big fan of the loud keys as much as I wanted to be. But I do like the sound of the chicklet keys and this one has just the right sound. For me, the spacing between the keys is also perfect. Going from using a 15" KB to this KB is a slight adjustment but I don't find myself constantly sticking the wrong keys. Also, the dedicated media (F Keys) keys is a great addition as that is something that I find myself using a lot. Overall, I would highly recommend this KB to anyone who doesn't want a rainbow on their desks but rather want a clean setup. I have not attempted any gaming with this KB yet and from my experience with it so far, I have not detected any lags or connection issues so I don't think there would be any issue with light to moderate gaming if you were to use this KB.
