US Robotics 56K USB Fax Modem

The USRobotics 56K* USB Modem combines USB convenience, multi-OS compatibility (Windows/Max/Linux) with the feature-rich advantages of V.92. Cut dial-up connection time with Quick Connect; identify incoming calls while online†; send e-mail and attachments faster; and make and receive calls while on-line with the USRobotics Modem on Hold application. Also supports faxing to and from your computer, is USB port powered so it requires no external power supply, and is hot-swappable so you don’t have to reboot to install or remove.

* Capable of receiving at up to 56 Kbps and sending at up to 48 Kbps (or 31.2 Kbps with V.90 server). Due to FCC regulations, receiving speeds limited to 53.3 Kbps. Actual speeds may vary. V.92 and V.90 features require compatible phone line and support from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). USRobotics modems featuring V.92 enhancements are backward compatible and will negotiate the highest speed possible when connecting to an ISP.
