The model accepts many plug-in modules with 4 levels of priority between modules. Two module bays also accept signal-processing output modules.

The input has its own independent volume control and a signal/clip indicator. An 11-segment LED meter indicates output level, while a motorized master volume control allows smooth and accurate operation of the unit's master volume control.
