This adapter converter connects to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 enabled laptop, tablet, or desktop computer and features an Ethernet port. This adapter converter is a perfect accessory for Apple, Microsoft Surface, and other leading laptops and tablets.
The small form factor of this adapter converter makes it a portable and convenient solution that provides a Gigabit Ethernet port for a wired internet connection. The adapter converter is perfect for connecting to networks where Wi-Fi is unavailable or for computers that do not provide a wired Ethernet port or possibly have a damaged Ethernet port.
The Ethernet port allows for reliable internet connectivity and file transfer speeds up to 1000Mbps, while the PXE boot allows a computer to boot from a server on a network prior to booting the operating system on the computer's local hard drive.

It just works.
I use it to connect my Dell 5320 Laptop to our Ethernet. I need an Ethernet connection if I do a bare metal restore using an EaseUS backup file located on my NAS. Worked with no need to download a driver and no problems. Our LAN immediately appeared as a network and took precedence over the WiFi connection to the same LAN.

My MacBook Pro 16" does not recognize this adapter
This adapter is not recognized by my Mac even though the specifications indicate it is compatible with macOS devices. There is no clear way to download a driver to remediate the problem.

Placed a po with C2G for USB-C® to Ethernet Network Adapter Converter and received the parts within a week as expected. The parts were packaged well and are of excellent quality. I have purchased hundreds and have not had any faulty parts. I'll be coming back to C2G when i need these parts again.

Ethernet cable would not stay latched in
The ethernet cable would not stay latched in the adapter. Dell sent me a replacement because the first one would not latch. The second one would not stay latched either. I returned both.
