Don't use it very often,mostly use a tripod,but great for hand held.

Should have an extra battery included
Was disappointed that a battery pack that cost this much, didn't come with an actual extra battery.

Battery grip makes 5DM4 an even better camera
Really helps when shooting in portrait orientation. Having all of your controls including the joystick readily available is my favorite feature. Additional shots before changing batteries is nice as well

Unit functions properly. I was surprised and disappointed to find out that this grip doesn't come with a tray for AA batteries; as far as I know, Canon has no plans to supply one. My previous camera/battery grip did have a tray for AAs. I really got used to using rechargeable AA batteries on the previous grip; they lasted many months. Because of this, I will be returning the BG-E20 for a refund.
