Not a lot of rational thought
Not a lot of thought put into these. I bought two items. One shipped immediately, the other was out of stock, but it was too late to cancel the other. Double shipping costs because i had to buy the other somewhere else. Now for the review I'm supposed to know the product number, 3 weeks later, of both the one that shipped and the one i never got

Fills up FAST
A necessary part of the printer and works quite well. This is far less messy than the maintenance carts/boxes in many other printers out there and easy to change out. It does fill up rather rapidly - figure on using 4 per set of ink carts. It's also difficult to come by, being on backorder much of the time.

It fills up too quickly and twice it has been on back order so the printer can’t print.

Necessary, overpriced, but does what it's supposed to do.
Does what it's supposed to do but overpriced - why not have something that is reusable/cleanable? Or even recyclable? I understand the business model of consumables generates a lot of profit but really? It's a tank with a way of indicating how full it is...BTW, I love the printer and it's output!

Always on backorder
It's required to have one in order to print, but it seems like it is ALWAYS on backorder. I have a big print run coming up and I THOUGHT I had ordered well in advance. I was wrong. Thankfully, I ordered two this time so that when finally ship, I'll have one in reserve.
