The Cisco® Catalyst™ 9400 Series 10-Slot Chassis Switch provides a switching access platform that supports up to 9 Tbs of bandwidth, while delivering up to 90W Cisco UPOE®+ power on each access port. SD-access allows integration of the Cisco chassis switch with the Cisco DNA™ software. It ensures network segmentation, secure connectivity, policy-based automation and access to critical analytics.
The Cisco Catalyst 9400 series switch system expands to accommodate up to 384 ports with options such as 1G and 5G mGig copper and 1G fiber options, Cisco UPOE+ and UPOE and PoE+. Optimized for the enterprise-class core, the Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series Supervisor engine allows for aggregation with 25 G up-links for product protection. Two C9400-LC-48 line cards complement the supervisor engine. Inside the chassis is a fan tray that provides side-to-side airflow for heat dissipation. A rack-mountable form factor of 13U allows small businesses to save on floor space by anchoring it to two- or four-post racks. The front gives full accessibility to removable components such as line cards and supervisors for convenient serviceability. Rear accessibility comes in handy for efficient cable management, keeping the rack structure neat.
