Rated 5 out of 5 by from First one had issues, second one OK. Service was bad. My Partner accidentally shipped another item with this one for return and the other items never came back. No support. Horrible service. Took 6 months to get it to work with my laptop which was a Dell G7 7790 but it eventually worked when I turned off RAID in the BIOS settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would not purchase this ssd in the future This was a terrible experience....after numerous emails support still got address wrong....4tb sad doesn't work on motherboard after reassurance it would...it doesn't.... .I will only purchase Samsung ssd moving forward.....support was nice... but overall experience not good.

Its is awesomely compatible with many motherboards, which is not the case of other brands. I use several of them for video edition, and size + performance are perfect for such purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product at a great price Bought this to replace the original 512GB hard drive in my Dell Precision laptop that failed beyond repair, resulting in me to have to do a completely new install of Windows. Already have a 2nd 4TB hard drive running Linux on the same machine. Both work great. With 4TB I should not have to be concerned about running out of storage for some time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's perfect. Works great. I bought this 4TB M.2 NVME to upgrade my Lenovo X1 Carbon from 512MB to 8 times more. And it is great. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it took 15 days to arrive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior every time My several 100 DVD's are ripped to .mkv files, stored on a 4TB SSD stick. This is housed in a caddy, with a 2nd stick for future growth. It's taken over from my old 8TB hard drive, so the silence & tiny size are fab; plus if I ever drop it it won't break

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible with G16 laptops.. Device failed to register as soon as it was installed in my asus g16 laptop. Booted in safe mode, turned off bitlocker and even tried swapping places with the boot drive m.2. At first this worked so i could initialize and partition it, then it stopped showing up no matter what. Drivers didnt fix it. No support from crucial because they need a special order password (not provided if you check out as guest) to prove you bought it at all. 10 years of experience and this over engineered bookmark was not willing to cooperate. All i can do is keep leaving reviews about my experience so no one else has to waste their money and risk static shocking their other components by introducing this faulty hardware from crucial.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, this 4TB M.2 drive works in the HP ZBook 17 G6 Installed this 4TB M.2 drive in my HP ZBook 17 G6 mobile workstation, and it works fine. The factory specs for this ZBook only specify M.2 drives up to 2TB, likely because 4TB M.2 drives were not available at the time. The chipset in the machine recognizes all of the 4TB's just fine. Crucial said the drive would be compatible with my notebook after I plugged in the specs and they were right. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed a storage drive for a 3rd vacant M.2 slot. Most all Nvme's drives will need a heatsink under a load and especially if it is next to a large graphic card. Just found a very economical copper laptop type heatsink to adequately control the temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition to any laptop with an expansion slot. Added to my new laptop as a secondary drive that I use for mostly running games along with other general use. Might upgrade to a larger size later, but it works perfectly and runs smooth. If you're looking to add space, it's a perfect addition to any laptop (or even desktop) with a PCIe M.2 2280 expansion slot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Either incompatible with XPS or defective After cloning my old drive over to the P3 Plus and installing the P3 Plus, it failed the startup checks, specifically the DST short test. I was unable to find a resolution for this problem. However, I had a SSD enclosure that I'd bought for cloning the old drive over, so basically I ended up using this as an external hard drive. Not the upgrade I was hoping for when I bought it, but still useful in its own way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly in my Legion 5 Replaced my OEM 250GB SSD with this 4TB SSD from Crucial. I was down to about 10GB available on the old SSD, and between low disk space and low available memory space, my Legion5 laptop was desperately slow when running AutoCAD/Revit. After upgrading both the SSD and quadrupling RAM from 8GB to 32GB, my laptop runs like it's brand-new instead of 3 years old.
