Dell only said a 1TB works, but after reading reddit about it and the "will work" guarantee and the clone sw, it dropped in perfectly with no issues! I seriously thought this would take me a day of fighting with things to get it to work. I will most certainly use crucial again for any SSD replacement.

The initial process to clone my existing drive was very frustrating and ended up taking several days (started cloning process Friday, no support until Monday morning) and FAQ was of no help. Once the patched software (which was immediately available, but only after I reported a problem was the patch offered) was provide the cloning worked a advertised. Unfortunately, I spent days retrying; believing something I was doing was in error. I would not heasitate recommending the product -- with a slight warning.

I was not aware that I would need an M.2 screw to complete the installation. So I had to order the screw and wait to install. Found hint on Crucial Forum to turn off RAID in BIOS to get PC to recognize SSD. Was blocked for a while before finding this. Used clonezilla to clone existing HDD to new SSD. Had some problems attempting to boot Desktop with both drives due to id conflicts. Took a while to sort that out. SSD working fine now and speedup of desktop PC is very good.

I don't usually give five stars, but there's no justification for me to not give five stars since it's been working as expected since I installed it a month ago. Even using a third part (AOMEI Partition Assistant) to copy data from my former SSD to the new Crucial SSD went smooth and didn't take any extensive amount of time.
