Yes works great.
It's my spare drive for pics and videos ect. Fast transfer of video files ! I didn't notice when I bought it it was c so had to but a USB adapter before I could use it. My fault.

Mixed feelings
It disconnects once per session. The support didn't resolve the problem, neither did the latest software update. So I basically have to use 'chkdsk' every session to prevent data corruption.

I would buy it again and again
Since I own a iMac, I did erase and reformatted it. Then it really worked fast. It is so small but quickly saves all sorts of files. Since I don't like paper, I scan in a lot of things and this way I can constantly back-up my computer so I don't lose anything.

Great product, small form factor, easy for traveling
Use it to hold my backup my photo and video library. I used to use HDDs and these are so much faster at accessing old indexed files (I have ~ 2 TB of data). I use one as a primary and one as a backup and rsync the files between them, and it has been working so far.

Smaller than expected (which is a good thing)
Saw a review for this new model (it's one of the lowest cost 4TB SSD's at the current discounted pricing). Smaller than I expected with a very sturdy case. It's also very fast. Highly recommended!

Speeds Throttling?
What I love: small and light weight. Led light in the corner is a great touch. Silicone back is premo. However... I am not even getting 1000 mbs r/w. I am on a Mac. Is it my comp or false advertising?

Speed on a Mac doesn't meet it's full potential.
It would have been helpful if the fact that it would not run at the advertised speed on a Mac had been explained on the website, I would have bought the X9 and saved some money.

Died within 1 day
The drive died within 1 day of ownership, all data wiped I had to format the drive. The other issue is when it is connected to your computer, it reboots super slow, it would hang at the BIOS screen for about 20 seconds before the boot process starts, no other external HDD or SSD gave me such an issue. This was tested on an Alienware m18 new laptop

Super fast downloads, especially compared to my 2 TB Crucial, X6 I believe.
Even smaller form factor.
8TB external backup in SSD would be ideal for me. Allowing multiple backups before deleting the older version.

Using this product with the new iPhone 15 Pro Max for recording ProRes 422 Log footage. No issues at all. Easy to hold and manage with this camera. Then directly to my video editing software.
