Great travel backup for photos, videos and more
This is a great travel companion that should be in any camera or drone bag. Fast to transfer footage, works with Android, iOS, Windows, and OSx.

Ok but not yet seen anything like the speeds claimed.
So far its not even come close to showing any decent spped. 10s of Gb/sec is a snails pace. But that was connected through a pc to another drive, so ill reserve judgment until the next step...copy up to a brand new pc. So don't expect the 100s Gb/sec claimed. Its probably ' up to ' some speed you'll never see.

It is NOT matched to advertized 800Mb/S
I have the Crucial 2.5" Internal SSD for PCs, they behave fast and error free. Thought X6 is SSD and much faster to write/read for backup/restore or copy files between Window 10 PC and X6. After few tests, it shown that X6 is much slower than Portable HDD. For a new purchase, it shown ERRORs in "Driver Self Test". It appears that the product is NOT matured to the market and needs improvement. Crucial customer support suggested to return X6.

So much storage in something so small - Impressive
I bought this in addition to a previous model which was almost full. Impressed with the previous purchase from Crucial, I decided to go with this smaller model for ease of use while travelling and I'm glad I did. I can't sing the praises enough. Plug it in and off you go. It really is that simple

Not for Xbox One as advetised.
The Crucial X6 is rated and reviewed as an Xbox One compatible external 3.2 SSD drive. It is clearly not as advertised. the drive will not work with Xbox One even with the molded cord configuration and multiple attempts to reconnect. the drive simply does not read as 3.0 or greater.

Product is great. I say to use. Great small size. Would be a 5 star rating, except they took over a month to even ship it, after repeated chats and calls. Recommend making sure it's in stock and ready to go before buying.

Slow, Slow, SLLLOOOWWWWW
Very disappointed.
Transferring is horrible slow.
Other SSD drives are much faster.
I'm using USB-A instead of USB-C and not sure if that's causing the slow down or not.

Good Solid State Hard Drive for the Price
My old Western Digital HDD 2 TB external hard drive failed after 18 years so I needed to purchase something quickly to transfer all my important files and this did the trick.

Does not read data at USB 3.0 rate
I bought this hard drive for my Xbox One, the Xbox One requires a USB 3.0 or faster connection. When plugged in the Xbox, an error says it won't work, it's too slow, drive needs to be at least USB 3.0
